   Chips are nice and salsa has a bit of a kick. Entrées were a more mild than usual (Chile Verde) that was appreciated.

   Made reservations so I would not have to wait. Had to get on wait list when I arrived anyway. I would have waited at a restaurant closer to my house. I drove across town because I was able to book the reservation. It was not honored. I don’t see the use in making a reservation.

   They did not have our reservation. They were able to find a table for us after a short wait. The staff was very friendly, but the food was underwhelming.

    We’ve had this server before and she’s always incredibly rude. She must be related to the owner because no one in the service industry would keep a job treating customers like she does. First of all, it wasn’t the least bit busy for a Saturday night and she rushed us to order our meals the same time we ordered margaritas. She barked at my boyfriend twice in what meat he wanted in his burrito and I had to read him his choices since she wouldn’t and he was flustered by her behavior. She made snide comments about what we ordered, saying “Wow, you must be really hungry!” then commenting later about how much we ate. She immediately gave us the bill and I said we were planning on ordering more drinks. She was visibly annoyed and huffed about having to change the bill. It’s her fault for not asking if we wanted anything else. This has been the case every time we’ve had her as our server and has made us not want to return. La Costa used to be one of our favorite places and was always busy. I’m thinking others have had the same experience and have chosen to take their business elsewhere since it’s no longer busy it seems. People like this server should NOT be in the “service industry”. I highly doubt I’ll be back anytime soon. She ruined my mom’s birthday dinner.

    The menu offers a large variety of dishes and hard to select. Enjoyed a margarita while deciding. Their salsa is one if the best...also munched on chips while deciding.

    We sat outside, the waitress was nice but we only saw her twice the whole hour we were out there. Food was not great. A lot of waiting for not special food.

    Service was slow and hard to grab the waitress when needed. No refills, had to ask for everything more than once. Food was not good, cold and bland. The chips, salsa and beans were the best part.

    The food was well cooked and the flour tortillas for the fajitas were ample. However I found two shrimp tails in my shrimp fajitas.

    I would give a great review until the end. I ordered a soda, never got a refill at dinner. I asked waitress for a soda to go. She looked at me weird, then came back with a kiddy cup and not even the soda I was drinking. You pay $4 for a soda, since I didn’t refill at dinner I didn’t think a big deal to ask for one to go. Many restaurants will do this but not in a kiddy cup! Felt disrespected for asking for it😞.

    The food was below expectations - some in the party thought the food was good and other did not - it was inconsistent. This will be a one and done experience at La Costa for my family and I.

    It was all fine except our server was very rude. He was very slow about taking drink orders and then when we got our food never came back to check on us. We had to get up and go get our checks from him.

    We love LA Costa! Service was a tiny bit slow but it was busy. The food is always great and you are always welcomed and feel like a guest.

    We had a large group for a birthday dinner and La Costa allowed us to make a reservation and were ready for us. Food came out in waves, which is somewhat expected with a larger group. Everyone enjoyed their meals. It was our first visit but not our last!

    Outdoor tent sitting was great. Our server greeted us, but did not check us in for our Open Table reservations(hopefully, we have no problem getting our points). We ordered shredded chicken burrito, small beef taco, Chile verde, rice and beans....Sorry to say the food was very bland, no taste at all. Disappointing, as we really wanted to like this place.

    We were in from Kansas City and found this place on Open Table. Very disappointed. No Queso on the menu and the food was so so. Our waiter did not speak very good English and kept pacing the table waiting and asking if we were ready to order. Not an overall good experience.
