With strong Italian roots, a passion to create authentic Italian food and a love of quality and fresh ingredients, La Cucina Pizzeria will soon be your favourite spot to eat and hang-out. The irresistible aromas from our custom-built Malagutti pizza oven will draw you in, and the delicious dishes that emerge from it will keep you coming back for more. Malagutti has been creating these refractory stone culinary masterpieces for over four decades. You will be able to see your pizza or calzone cooked right before your eyes.

The Pizzeria will be serving more than just pizza slices: our menu includes antipasti, homemade pastas, paninis, and larger dishes like Veal Parmigiana and Porchetta.

Friendly service, fast serving on a quiet night. Great pizza - wood burning seems to do some good! Outdoor - I gave up and moved inside due to stupidity amongst motorists.

Overall it was ok. 2 of my guests ordered the rainbow trout (which was delicious). We asked the server if we could have a small bowl of pasta as a starch on the side. We had already received our meals. She suggested a $27 pasta dish!! Being an upper scale Italian restaurant I'm sure they could have found us something. Very disappointed that she didn't try or speak to the chef.

La Cucina is an excellent option to dine in downtown Kitchener if you are for a good oven wooded pizza and some Italian vibes. The place is clean and well organized in high chair tables and standard sitting. If busy it can get noisy but bearable. Definitely your go-to are the pizzas, their dough and ingredients stands up in the carte.

Loved how busy and vibrant the restaurant was. Our waiter was outstanding - professional but personable and very funny in a quiet way. Ben was his name, I think. We all had the specials which were tasty and were we were pleasantly surprised by the half price special on wine bottles. Another plus about the service - we never felt neglected and never felt hurried. What a change to be able to enjoy dinner for a few hours.

My wife's veal parmesan was very good. I found the lasagna too dry. The Chianti wine was very good. The atmosphere was very good. The service was excellent.

Our server Ben was awesome! We order from La Cucina regularly but typically a take out oder. The food is consistently good, always hot and great portions for the price point. We will continue to frequent your restaurant for the quality of food and the service!

Neil was a very good server and when he made a small error was very honest and apologetic. The pizza was excellent and so was the special fish and bruschetta. One disappointment was no soup of the day was available but everything else was very good.

Party of 8. I am a regular here. Normally I would give it a higher rating but the service was not as good as normal nor as prompt. Did not see the regular servers. Two of the 8 meals arrived less than lukewarm and were of lesser quality than I’m used to. I’m treating this as a one off. I’ll be back.

Very wonderful evening of dining. Atmosphere and service were excellent. Restaurant was busy so there was an awesome vibe and the garage doors were open to add to the ambiance! We celebrated our daughters birthday.
