I booked a reservation for 4 people for a birthday party at least a week prior to our dinner. We all arrived at La Cucina keen to eat there for the first time. There was a wonderful large booth in the window that we guessed was waiting for us but we were surprisingly walked to the back of the restaurant where we were sat right next to the restrooms. The intense smell of urinal cakes made me feel immediately unwell. I walked back to the front desk to see if we could be sat elsewhere only to watch two young adults (early twenties?) get escorted to that huge window table. We were moved a short while later when a different table settled up their bill and left. Once we settled at table without being overwhelmed by the smell of urinal cakes, we were brought fresh bread brushed with oregano to enjoy. We tried it and agreed that it would have been delightful with oil & balsamic but it was not worth eating on its own. We then watched every table after us get their bread with oil & balsamic! The service was acceptable but not great, and the food was underwhelming. The ravioli was good, but the carbonara and the gnocchi were tasteless. The California Cab red wine was a very nice wine. Considering this was a $250 meal for 4 adults, I was terribly disappointed with the whole experience and am unlikely to return to La Cucina anytime soon.

The entire experience was great! The ambiance in the restaurant and wine bar sections is very comfortable and cozy. Our server was amazing with his food and pairing suggestions. The food itself was amazing! Would definitely recommend and will be returning to dine again soon!

I liked my food (pasta and mushrooms in a cream sauce) but it did take quite a while to be served. Our table was super tiny, and my boyfriend said his pizza tasted good, but it was also very wet and mushy.

Honestly I've been to LA cucina in kitchener and the lunch menu is excellent overall with quality and price but going any other time is just too expensive. Their pizza crust is very watery and too thin for $26 and then add a salad for another $15 they don't even serve the free bread to dip in oil and vinegar anymore and we were celebrating a birthday and I asked in advance to bring over a piece of cake with a candle and they didn't. Use to be free Alice of cake with birthday. We also sat at a small table and the stools were not comfy when I reserved in advance and we didn't even get offered the comfy couch. We were there for a concert first time in London and after this experience WONT be back.

We very much enjoyed our meal and enjoyed our visit with our friends. It was very easy to converse with out having to talk too loud. Service was good and our server was very nice. It was a little slow getting our bill as she was busy serving other customers. Overall a good experience. Negative the parking was $17 on a Sunday night in London, this surely does not support London restaurants as this adds to your bill.

Service was horrible. 2.5 hrs for dinner Waited 30 mins just to get water. Then drinks did not come out till our apps did approx 20ish mins later. Never came back till mains came out came back once and never again. Had to ask another server for dessert menu after waiting 10 mins for the one we asked for. My husband never got another ice tea or water. We were there for our anniversary and very disappointed

We really enjoyed our dining experience at La Cucina. I visited Italy twice this year and ever since I have been searching for that authentic taste close to home. This restaurant provided the true taste and experience of Italy. Highly recommended! The service was also as comparable to the service in Italy… impeccable! For anyone giving less than 5 stars doesn’t know true Italian cuisine! This is definitely considered a go to restaurant of mine moving forward.

The pizza looks great coming out of the wood fired oven. The crust singed with flame marks, looked and tasted good. The center was soggy, seemed liked the center of pizza wasn't cooked enough. Not the first soggy pizza from La Cucina. We had pizza that was supposed to have fresh mozzerella.... there was very, very little cheese on the pizza. The serviced was prompt, new server was friendly but inexperienced. Did not know about wines, and brought pepper grinder when we asked for grated parmesan. Might try again for the pasta. It is a chain and feels like a chain restaurant.

Food and service was wonderful. Our family enjoyed celebrating a birthday there. My only critique is that the music played through the speakers was way too loud. More of what you'd expect in a bar rather than a fine restaurant. My gauge of it being too loud was I had to raise my voice to speak over the music which was even louder than the ambient noise of people in the restaurant.

Food tasted great but the pizzas were a soggy mess in the middle. Had to eat about a five inch circle with knife and fork before you could the rest of the pizza more like a pizza. Less sauce in the middle and a wee less thin in the middle when hand stretching could work here. Taste was excellent though and the ambience and server were fantastic.

Our waiter was great! Super friendly and helpful. We went for my sons birthday but unfortunately the pasta he wanted they didn’t have that night even though it was on the menu. They were actually out there f two different pastas. Other than that the experience was good.

Had dinner there for my girlfriends birthday. The staff was very kind and accommodating, even took pictures for us. The food was really good and came out in a timely manner, the ambiance was really nice and the interior is well designed. As well, we had plenty of space around our table to feel comfortable.

Very helpful and responsive staff when I indicated a need for accessibility. Restaurant area is fine for ambulatory accessible, but steps to enter would not not a accommodate wheelchair and toilets are downstairs. Service was great and food was very enjoyable. I would return to this restaurant.

Only one server for to many tables. Once our dish came to our table she didn't bring parmesan cheese. For Italian restaurant is a big mistake. Ladies washroom was out of toilet paper. However everything else was perfect!

I took my daughter and her university friends out for dinner. They are all a bit homesick so I wanted it to be special. The folks at La Cucina were amazing. Fantastic service, amazing food. A great evening!
