La Cucina is a NEW authentic Italian pizzeria and restaurant in the heart of downtown LONDON. Although a new location, the owners are not new to Italian food. With strong Italian roots, a passion to create authentic Italian food and a love of quality and fresh ingredients, La Cucina Pizzeria will soon be your favourite spot to eat and hang-out. The irresistible aromas from our custom-built Malagutti pizza oven will draw you in, and the delicious dishes that emerge from it will keep you coming back for more. Malagutti has been creating these refractory stone culinary masterpieces for over four decades. You will be able to see your pizza or calzone cooked right before your eyes.

    Waiter was not attentive at all. Food was mediocre. Waiter did not come back to check on us. My pasta dish was bland and I couldn’t get the waiter’s attention for cheese or hot peppers. Service was slow

    Nice, cozy place with big booths that easily fit 6. Also had very big tables in the middle that could accommodate a large group. Also noticed comfy sofas & tables towards the back with a loungey feel by the bar. All our meals were delicious, and enough to bring some home for a yummy lunch the next day! Server was very polite & attentive Will definitely return!

    It was an okay experience. It took awhile to get served at the beginning but our waitress was great. Expensive food and drinks, but relative to other restaurants.

    Overall, the food and the service was very good. It has an authentic Italian atmosphere with the Italian music playing and we loved this!! The only small improvement would be to provide complimentary fresh bread with olive oil/butter like many other restaurants do!

    Not the best service not sure if it was just a slow day but super bad service that night! Waited forever to be greeted at our table and was given horrible attitude after apologizing and asking for a change to my meal. I ordered an appetizer and it was horrible and when I mentioned something for the soggy soaked olive oil bread, I was given horrible attitude and no offer to help fix my meal instead just thrown it out. My main pasta was good tasting but was like soup with the amount of sauce but im not sure if that’s cause I said something about the appetizer or not. Wouldn’t recommend apps or pasta but pizza looked delicious.

    We always enjoy this restaurant and make a point of coming here. Twice now we have noticed that the Calzone isn’t very hot on the inside…almost cold. Not sure I would order that again. Otherwise, very good.

    We found some of the dishes such as the gnocchi,fettucini and the shrimp entrees rather tasteless. The calamari appetizer was really good and the penne with vodka sauce was great. Although we love a thin crust pizza, the bottom crust was so thin and soggy, we couldn't lift it off the plate.

    We have eaten at La Cucina many times and we are never disappointed! We usually have the pizza which is amazing but this time we had the pasta. My husband had the carbonara and said it was exactly the same as his “Nonna’s”.

    Forgettable. Carbonara tasted like Alfredo with bacon added .. Not quite right. Pasta was undercooked...2 more minutes to al dente.. veal parm was fine, but the marinara was watery. This Italian won't change your life. Edible, but forgettable

    This restaurant was really amazing. The food was delicious, affordable and perfect for a date night as it’s moderately quiet. The waitress that served us was so polite and made sure everything was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this place

    The pizza dough was a little too thin, but the pasta was amazing. They have Birra Moretti on tap which is rare. Overall we will be back.

    The food was fabulous and fresh and the service was friendly and inviting from the greeting at the door, all through out dinner and then indulging us with answers to all of our questions at the pizza oven on our way out. A great place to sip on wine, eat great food and catch up with dear friends. We will definitely be back again and again.

    Really enjoyed the wood oven pizza in a comftable, casual upscale environment. Great variety of cocktails. Wednesday 1/2 price bottles of wine was a nice bonus. Desserts were delectable too! Great place for our birthday celebrations.

    This restaurant has pizza and pasta that rival any similar restaurant found in Rome Italy. Excellent quality of ingredients made the pizzas and pastas we had a very pleasurable experience.

    Food was absolutely fantastic. Waiter was great. Only negative was suddenly we were getting strong waves of cigarette smell. We were sitting under a venting system so wondered if maybe someone was smoking elsewhere but it was traveling through the vents directly to our table?
