Waiter was excellent Coquille st Jacques had sea scallops? Every recipe I ever seen calls for bay scallops and it made a difference. Scallops were a bit rubbery.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and La Fable was the perfect venue. With the charming Parisian decor and outstanding food, it was a very special evening. We started with the evening special of Squash Veloute, I chose the Canard, and my husband opted for the Beef Bourguignonne for our entrees. Each dish was perfection. I finished my meal with my favorite dessert, Creme Brulee. Our server Nicholas could not have been more attentive and friendly. This was our second visit, and it will not be our last. Highly recommended.

We absolutely love La Fable. We go there for special occasions because it is expensive, though worth every penny. It’s more special because we save it for those occasions. The food is divine, and the service is some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. And it’s consistent, never lets us down. I had an impeccable grey goose, icy cold with a twist. The wine was fabulous, and Tonia, our server, was great at pouring, a little at a time, so it stayed cold and lasted. I can’t speak more highly of a very special place.

As always, we had a great dinner tonight. Nick takes such good care of us. The wild mushroom soup special was awesome, as was the baby pork shoulder. And dare I mention the wonderful cocktails?!
