La Forchetta

Our food took roughly an hour and a half and no one came by to acknowledge this. Food was cold when it came out and it took them forever to bring our bill after we had waited so long to be served. No one seemed to care about our table and we had such high expectations and it was less that standard, not worth the price we paid.

This was our second time dining at La Forchetta and we came back because it was the best pasta we had ever had in Vancouver. Our second time coming back did not disappoint. Everything was perfection.

The food was overpriced for what it was but we had a fun evening and the service was very good :-) The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I loved the decor and the glass of wine I had

I am not sure I would go here again if I am craving Italian though....

This is a fantastic family run restaurant. We have eaten here several times and not once ever disappointed. Food is amazing and the service is great.

Good food - the seafood linguine could have been a bit fresher. Macaroons were delicious, anti-pasti very good. Nice wine selection.

The food and service were excellent. Starters were amazing and could have been the meals, but our mains were really phenomenal. It would have been worth it at twice the price.

Service was excellent. Lighting a bit bright, music low and poor quality sound. My pasta was a bit too al dente for me and my husband’s was great. I’d go back to try the pizza

Tasted like AUTHENTIC Italian not North American interpreted Italian. The flavours were simple but well done! Highly recommend. The service needs to improve to match the food. We had to flag the waiter for additinal drinks, first order, dessert. Must try forsure! Their olive oil on their salad is out of this world

I was able to experience flavours in pasta that would not be experienced elsewhere. The service was exceptional and the waiter was able to help while ordering with recommendations.

The food is top quality and delicious. ILa Forchetts is a North Burnaby gem.

We are pretty sure we got an olive oil sauce when we ordered the cream sauce for the truffle mushroom pasta but I don’t think the waiter wanted to admit he typed it in wrong. It was very evident it was an oil sauce but he insisted that was their version of a cream sauce.
We didn’t send it back because it was delicious anyway.

Great food. Good selection. Great ambience. Place is Covid ready and friendly. Good service. I like how the chef takes pride in his food. He comes out to greet patrons and ask for feedback.

Even though service is great but the pasta does not taste good at all, portion is small and pricy for this kind of family business.

What a pleasant find in the neighborhood. Love this restaurant! The food is fantastic.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was and by the COVID safety measures . It’s been awhile since I have dined out and was hoping trying a new place was not a mistake . There were four of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinner my Father especially, he had the pasta Tartuffo and said it was the best he has had they were not chincy on the Truffles . The portions were not too big, just enough so we tried dessert. The pane Cotte and cannoli both fabulous and the cappuccino was excellent. We all said we would definitely come back.

Food was average considering the price per dish. $20 for maybe 12 pieces of bland calamari.

Everything about the restaurant was very good. The ambience was nice. The servers were helpful. The food was really delicious! My only complaint was that the food came out a bit on the cool side. It could have been warmer, particularly the pasta dishes. The streak was so delicious!
