Evening was good, small restaurant good ambiance. The only issue was we were not aware there was a time limit for reservations. Our server gave us 15 minutes to finish our drinks and head out as there was another table who apparently had a reso after us. This was never explained when we made the reso or when we arrived so we were taken back when they told us that our reso time was up. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend due to this.

A very unique and awesome experience. Love the small, quaint, setting hidden away in the basement. The service was excellent. The drinks were super flavourful and creative. The setting was just so unique, so quiet, so intimate, so engaging, so perfect. Will definitely be going back

We have been back many times. And we always receive a warm welcome. Food and cocktails are outstanding. Service is very efficient, warm and friendly. Highly recommended for a different and special evening out.

I had a bit higher hopes for this place. We were placed at the bar seating which I knew when I booked but it was extremely uncomfortable for 4 of us. The space is so small between people behind us and the bar directly in front of us (so we had little privacy for conversation). I was on the corner and every time someone passed they bumped my chair which was rather annoying. The seats themselves are super uncomfortable and not great for anyone plus sized. The drinks were okay, I wouldn’t run back for them. Presentation was also just okay, I feel it could have some improvements as I personally find that one of the most exciting parts of a good cocktail. We did not try the food, they were snack size and rather expensive so we skipped that (this review forced me to review food also). They also didn't even ask me for the password which is kind of the point of a speakeasy however it was okay because the password they chose is one I wasn't quite sure how to pronounce properly so I had anxiety about that. I will also say I think this place is best suited for smaller parties of no more than 2 people, it doesn’t seem well designed or set up for any parties of 3 or more that would make it comfortable for everyone. Finding the location was difficult, I had been to view from the outside before so I knew where it was but I don’t recall getting and email or anything describing how to find the location which is rather hidden, everyone else in my party needed me to go get them when I was already seated. As I see it some improvements can be made to make this a cute regular spot of mine but overall I feel like I’ve been to some better places similar to this so I’m not sure I would return in a hurry.

The code was sent did not work at the door to get in we were waiting at the cold weather for more than 30 min no one even checked the door once I kept calling for more than 10 times no one picked the phone as well. Horrible experience

This was our second time to La Hacienda, and we were happy to be back - brought friends who hadn't been there, and they were as impressed as we were! We had a bit of a wait to come in, but once inside, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks & the whole experience. I might have dreamed about the Pane Con Tomate that night.... We'll be back! Handy for us that we can walk there, as those cocktails are irresistible...

It's a tiny space, capable of maybe 15 people max, so it feels incredibly intimate and special. To me, it has less of a speakeasy vibe and more of a private chef feeling. The tequila-based drinks were fantastic, and the charcuterie board that we order was both delicious and the perfect size for two people. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the music a lot, but the best part of the evening was the service... everything about your interaction with the staff feels authentic and personal.

It’s my second time here, bringing new guests to experience. The ambiance is nice, and although the cocktails are good unique and delicious, preparation was long. The tapas are tasty, especially the orange chilli infused honey. They need to bottle it up. I will def be back!

We’ve been back a few times. Service this evening was exceptional as always. We were warmly welcomed and that set the tone for the rest of our time there. Cocktails were delicious and correctly served and presented. Cool place. Very nice.

This is a great little gem of a find. A very stylish and sophisticated speakeasy. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Beautifully served creative cocktails, a really delicious charcuterie board and very attentive and friendly service made this another enjoyable evening at La Hacienda.

Super fun experience. Everything is a little pricey but to be expected from a small place. The drink menu has something for everyone. The food was better than expected. It’s close quarters - If one table is loud the whole place feels really loud but it’s fun.
