Food was very good. Sat at the bar and had good service
I didn’t like my food (I’m strangely picky though) so I traded with my husband and then everyone was VERY happy! We enjoyed the service too!
We had 8 people and were treated great. Everyone loved the food and the half in half out table was super nice with the great weather we just had.
Very nice facility with a pleasant out of doors seating area. The food tasted fine, but the pasta dishes were drowning in sauce to the point they were unrecognizable. A bit over-priced for the quality and neighborhood.
I would have given a higher rating on food because mine was excellent. My husband however was disappointed with his. He had the clam linguine and it was watery. My filet bronzini was excellent. I would definitely go back.
This was a complete surprise! This restaurant is a little farther from the downtown action but I would definitely go back.
The menu is really interesting. It’s a combination of Latin and Italian cuisine, and they execute it beautifully.
The décor isn’t anything that’s particularly memorable but the service is fantastic. They want you to have a great dining experience.
First time visit; will definitely return. Food was delicious and service was really excellent.
Drove over an hour away to meet family member from out of town. Found this restaurant on line. Turned out to be a great choice. Started with fenced in parking area. The restaurant was very inviting and unique. Service was outstanding along with the entrees that we chose. Would definitely go there again.
Delicious food, unique specials, attentive wait staff and managers.
Very cool ambience with the brick arches and artwork. We sat in the courtyard area but really the whole place felt like it was open and inviting. There were 6 of us ordering both Mex and Italian specialties and every one of us LOVED our food. Though not on the menu, they recommended the Enchiladas Suisas De Vegetariano for our sole vegetarian - best ever! The El Despreciado margarita with roasted jalapeno was perfect!
The service was excellent. Food was great. Jesus, our waiter, knew the menu really well and made great
recommendations. It was a great dining experience overall.
The space is great. While short staffed, the service was wonderful! The appetizers were really good - octopus and a duo of pasta. The entrees were good - but way too much sauce for my taste, which makes the perfect cook of the pasta. Their wine list and bar menu is good too.
This is a strange place - I think it was a Mexican restaurant that tries to expand its menu to include Italian and other items. The chips and salsa were great, but the prices were at least 50% higher than they should for a place that is not nationally renowned. The bar has basic items but not well stocked. I ordered enchiladas with mole sauce and it was only so-so (and really drenched in mole sauce). I wonder if Coivid affected its waitstaff and chefs so that the people there had little experience?
ambiance very nice; food very average and not good at all.
service was very good. had a college student (Business Admin) wait on us. very pleasant
I had a very good experience even though the power went out the service was excellent the manager Jorge knows how to do his job very well ,everything was excellent from drinks to the food
Wonderful; if not unexpected given the surrounding neighborhood, atmosphere. Parking in rear. Amazing service, very good cocktails, food portions were generous and presentation was nice. We had Italian dishes and they were all quite good! Would recommend!
great food - friendly people - interesting blend of latin and italian fare
Service was great, food was delicious. Loved the atmosphere.
Good was great, our server was very knowledgeable. Great service and ambiance.
Food was absolutely delicious, drinks were amazing, service was great as well. Awesome experience again! The ambiance is so attractive, can’t want to host a party there! Cheese tortellini w/ pesto sauce was THE pesto sauce I have ever had!
Food is fantastic and a great spot for a get together or regular dinner.
Awesome as always! Food is perfect people are great!!
Excellent dining experience. The Italian side of the kitchen was outstanding as was the Hispanic side. Large menu, not overpriced. we had the nicest and most personable server. When there was a few more things to do at the table (boxing up take home, etc.), the manager was right there to pitch in. Again, the food was outstanding. The only thing that was an issue was we were seated outside, next to Michigan Ave which can get quite loud. That said, I'll take a fire truck over 6 Harleys on Jefferson at Terry's terrace.
I love this restaurant! It’s so hard to decide between the Italian food or Mexican food because they both both so delicious. I highly recommend the lasagna or enchiladas. I will continue to come back!
We’ve missed the food, staff and experience - so glad we can go back to dining in.
The presentation is amazing , beautiful atmosphere! And from the outside you’d never think it . It’s literally a hidden gem
Quite a varied menu and since there were 5 of us we got to sample some different dishes, i.e, the grilled watermelon. The food is very good, we loved the rice and beans with our entree!
Such attentive and fast service. From the management, server, and bus service, everyone was so hospitable. The food was amazing as always, cannot wait to go back!
The experience was amazing! The food and service was spectacular! I will be going again soon.
Thr wait staff was very professional and courteous. We ordered Margaritas from the bar that was not too great but we would definitely recommend dinner.
FRITTO MIXTO DI PESCE AL ITALIANA appetizer and RAVIOLI DI ARAGOSTA were amazing!!
Excellent dining experience. Go for a pasta dish an you will be very pleased.
Fabulous all around! So many wonderful choices it was hard to choose! Delicious!
We enjoyed everything about our experience!
Amazing food, service and atmosphere!
Beautiful gem tucked away in the city. The food was OUTSTANDING, the beverages were amazing (little pricy) but worth it. The service was top notch. Fenced parking behind the restaurant. Will definitely will be returning.
AMAZING flavors of the cocktails, very attentive service the entire time! The food is extremely well priced for the unique and quality food you get! Cocktails are fantastic the special of the day clementine old fashion unique it as you can tell the mixologists know what they're doing. very good experience in all service 100% recommended
Since I love El Barzon, and we could not get a reservation there, we decided to try LaNoria. It is a very cute place with great ambiance. The menu is only available via scan, which is hard to navigate since the menu is so extensive. (disposable paper menus would be helpful) Our waiter Jesus, was wonderful if rather harried. It was a busy busy night and they seemed very short staffed. He never neglected us and was very knowledgeable of the menu and dishes. I think because they were so short staffed and slammed, the food was not given it's normal attention. The salad was outstanding with fresh arugula and tomatoes with a wonderful vinagrette.... Fabulous! We each ordered a pasta dish, and all of them were tasty but way over sauced. That is a turn-off to me but the flavor was so delicious I ate all the shrimp and lobster and some of the pasta. The lobster was cut oddly, so with such heavy sauce there was no way to pick it up to crack the meat out of the legs or from the knuckles. I think it would have been much better had it been just the lobster meat in the dish. The other pastas were also delicious but again the sauce to pasta ratio was way off but were served very hot, which we all like.
We shared a lemon cake and had coffee. The lemon cake was good...not great and the coffee was delicious. We will come back and try it again.... It was so close to being wonderful, I want to give it another try. This time I would like to try one of their veal or chicken dishes.
