Chef Craig Harding's food is Italian at heart but the menu at La Palma reflects a California sensibility and remains playful, reflecting dishes and ingredients from other Mediterranean cuisines and cultures. Whether you're grabbing take-out for an impromptu picnic in the park, or enjoying a patio dinner with a view of sunlit Dundas West, La Palma has you covered.

For parties of 6-9 we strongly recommend our Family Style's Chef's Menu. This multi-course meal includes several dishes from our a la carte menu plus exclusive off-menu items--most of the dishes are served family style, as our menu was created with sharing in mind!

The food and cocktails were delicious, the staff so friendly and attentive. My partner and I were celebrating and they made the night a very beautiful date and even offered us some complimentary bubbly. Definitely returning for that lasagna

We love La Palma. It’s a great vibe, not too noisy, and the food is UNREAL. The lasagna is a showstopper. But most of all we love the friendly service and delicious food.

The food was delicious as always! The most outstanding part of dining experience last night was our server. She was excellent!! The only thing that ended up only being slightly negative, was that it was an extremely hot evening and the restaurant had all the garage doors open and the hot air outside filled the restaurant. We would've preferred to have the comfort of AC last night.

We had a wonderful dining experience and Shannon was a wonderful help guiding us through the menu. Excellent food. Lovely way to enjoy a meal.

We very much enjoyed the ambience, food and service at La Palma. It was a sunny summer night and we were seated in the airy dining room, with their large street level windows open to the bustling Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood. The restaurant design is modern soft industrial with comfortable wall hugging banquette seating, jazzy memphis design style wallpaper, low level lighting and upbeat music that added ambience without overpowering conversation. The tuna crudo starter was excellent as were the grilled peppers with anchovy and artichokes. The mains included a grilled chicken with lemon, a grilled Branzino with salsa verde and grilled red shrimp in a rich tomato sauce. All summer fresh and flavourful. Roasted potatoes with aioli and charred broccolini were our hearty sides (we shared two between four people), The wine list was short but decent (it would be nice to see a few more Italian wines on offer -- but our waiter recommended an excellent Spanish wine). The service was attentive, but not hurried, and we felt very well looked after on what was a busy Friday night. A restaurant that gets the balance right between casual and upscale. A great choice to while away a summer evening with good friends.

Service was excellent, our waitress was wonderful. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine, the burrata, lasagna and the flat iron steak. My only complaint is we were seated on the front patio, which had very limited vibe or atmosphere. We booked a last minute reservation, so we had no other option.

The yuzu crudo was unbelievably delicious! All our food was great. The space is light and beautiful. Very classy place. Good date spot!
