Such a great place; a real hidden gem. The chef is great.
An excellent meal, great service and a fun evening with the other guests. Petite Maison is a really neighbourhood gem. Jeff is a great host and always manages to get all the patrons talking to one another.
Quaint boutique unique experience, very pleasant owner operator - recommend without hesitation- don’t forget to bring your own wine
Wonderful evening with friends in a almost quirky hole-in-a-wall kind of location. The restaurant has a delightfullyhomely and authentic vibe that warms your heart the moment you step in. The French food prepared by the friendly Chef & Owner Geoff were very delicious, not what you would find in a set menu restaurant. Our starter was a salad dish with two slices of Brie and a warm mini buttery croissant, followed by an appetizer crepe in a creamy sauce. Next is the main course that was beef with risotto rice. Everyone was so impressed with the delicious food and friendly service. If you are looking for a lavish restaurant to impress your first date, Le Petit is not for you. If you are looking for an authentic dinner experience, excellent food and good service, check them out you won’t be disappointed.
What a wonderful find. Great food and atmosphere. These days when a lot of restaurants feel they need to blast music plus 6 TV screens all at the same time it was truly a pleasure to have a quite meal and be able to talk. We will return.
Enjoyed an excellent meal and entertaining conversation at the tiny and intimate Petite Maison. Very cute room with a warm and friendly vibe. The chef/owner, Jeff, is as good at engaging his customers as he is at preparing his outstanding french cuisine. A really unique dinner experience. We will definitely be back!
Great dining experience, choices were limited but the food was excellent. Serves a four-course meal with the bonus of bringing your own wine, without charging a corkage fee. Reservations are necessary for this intimate setting and you might want to confirm the day's menu or discuss possible options with the chef.
Considered good value, parking was not an issue, and would certainly visit again.
Tiny place; cute atmosphere; shared table but enjoyed the conversation; Kareem, our cook and server was very pleasant and competent; food very good; enjoyed bringing our own wine.
The experience was amazing!! Bring your favorite wine with you and enjoy the experience with the chef. The atmosphere is something you will not forget.
It was fantastic. There were a few no shows, so the chef sat down with us. Very knowledgeable guy that takes great pride in his work. We’ll definitely return while we’re in the area! 120% recommended!
Great selection of courses. Great blend of flavors.
Awesome dining experience.
I really enjoyed our meal at La Petite Maison.
The best way to describe the experience is: quirky, good food, nice atmosphere, something different to try. I would never choose the 4 courses I was given from a menu but enjoyed them all, so that was great to just be served food and it went well! Potato soup, spinach salad, chicken crepes with a side of cabbage, egg cake with cherry compote and vanilla ice cream. The stand out was the cabbage side dish, so tasty and the dressing on the salad. The owner who does it all was lovely, he's a character and I enjoy people who have a bit of personality. Other diners came in and we did have some conversation with them. All in all very nice, and have recommended already to others. The only thing I would suggest to change is the music, play music not the radio station as it's odd when you hear the radio announcers doing their thing. Was in and out in under an hour!
Really enjoyable evening. We brought a bottle of wine which we had purchased at a winery (no corkage fee!!) and were treated to a wonderful four course meal. Everything was delicious. The chef did it all and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend. Excellent value.
We were expecting a bit more upscale French cuisine. What was presented was OK but pretty basic. The beef was essentially pot roast under a sauce and was over cooked
Wonderful food, really good value. About like having a personal chef!
We felt he spent a bit more time talking to us than we would have liked - took away from our time for each other.
We had a great evening. Everything was great! The food was nice and simple but very flavourful and cooked to perfection!
Just felt like going to a real small restaurant with no big crowds and the feeling of eating at home with a private chef. Great experience.
We had a fun time. Food was great. Service was perfect because the chef is the server haha. We will be back very soon.
Very cozy little restaurant, feels like home. Pre fix menu - simple delicious meals. Enjoyed with a group of friends on a rainy day :) You can bring your own wine for free and chat with the owner/chef, very nice place!
Support local business!! Had a great time at this unique spot. Fixed menu but accommodated our dietary needs. Can bring your own wine, and no corkage fees is a huge plus! Super affordable. Owner/chef/waiter (he does it all!) is chatty and will sit down with you for a drink after dinner and tell some unique stories.
Had a wonderful experience! The chef was very friendly and the overall experience was fantastic all for a great value. Would recommend!
We are experinced diners. We assumed much more than we received even the way the dishes were presented. It wouldn't take much more.
I have been to France and most other European countries.in the last 5 years. This was not french cuisine. Being a simple one item on a plate leaves one thinking, where is the rest of the food. Limited presentation.
Flavor was acceptable but short sited. The decor was unimpressive.
The owner was nice but we don't dine for that.
Kelowna needs some high end restaurants.
It was a very delicious and well balanced meal, the chef was cool and we got to bring our own wine.
Wonderful evening out with the family! Menu was simple and thought out so we just had to sit back and enjoy. Great little place!
A pre fixe menu that had wonderful flavours and excellent value. This is a small intimate one man restaurant.
Wonderful food and excellent service. Chef Geof is doing something amazing down on St. Paul. Check it out!
We had a delightful evening - our first time dining here. Denis was very attentive and Geoff was a great chef/host. My husband enjoyed the fact that he didn't have to make a decision about what to order. You can take your own wine and there's no corkage - fabulous! We will definitely return.
Excellent evening with very good food , a very nice ambiance, a unique experience with excellent service. A little gem n Kelowna
Set menu for $40 per person and the value just was not there. The soup and salad was excellent but the crepes for the main was poor. The service was slow due to over booking. Not going again sorry.
Lovely little restaurant, delicious four course set menu, very attentive & entertaining hosts. Bringing our own wine with no corkage fee was an added bonus! Made for a fun evening!
Will be back!!!
Unique experience. Loved the ambience and attention by the staff. Set menu and we brought our own wine.
A great experience! I will return ans will recommend this special place. As soon as we walked in we felt welcome and knew we were somewhere special. If you're looking for a great dining experience with really good food, this place is worth trying. The chef (Jeff) visited our table to tell us about the menu and to ensure we enjoyed our meals. Great value too. Job well done! I will return and probably do a private party.
Overall it was an okay experience quality of food was great
This is a great hidden gem in Kelowna. The food is excellent - lovely flavours, nicely prepared and very fresh and hot! The chef mingles with the guests while preparing the meals (don't know how he keeps up). The restaurant is part of an old small home and is very quaint. The service is attentive and gracious. The atmosphere is very nice. Be sure to make reservations (required in fact) and know that the menu is a fixed multi-course menu with choices for the main course. We will be back and look forward to it!
