Tiny portions for the price, table was right next to the seafood counter and the smell was quite strong, cocktail was incredibly bitter and tough to drink.
It's a very limited menu (focaccia-style pizza and pasta). You also can't get coffee at the table.
Amazing atmosphere that takes you to an Italian culinary trip through the market. However, the food at La Piazza is really forgettable. Everything is soft, generic, and no prominent flavour. The best dish is probably freshly made mozzerella cheese.
We understand spices and condiments at the table might be cut back during the health crisis, but no balsamic vinegar to go with olive oil, and no dipping sauce for a fry dish, while you're literally next to a market. Really?
Great food, great atmosphere
Our daughter had not visited the location yet, my husband and I had been when they first opened
Cool place for a casual meal, food is quite good and the vibe is also really nice and vibrant.
Amazing food! Quality is top notch, need one in Montreal!!
Eataly has a war-time air to it. The food comes from various kitchens and not at the same time. Caprese salad was bland and not beautifully presented. Fritters midtown de mare was a small plate of fish, shellfish and veggies in a tempura batter. Very poor value for a whopping $29. Pizza was okay, though very salty. I know they are doing their best, but still...
Delicious, very delicious. Highly recommended. Yum.
The tiramisu looked sad. The tiramisu we bought from the store tasted better. The canoli was stale. The meat and cheese platter was too salty. The squid ink pasta and the pizza were good. Overall, ok but underwhelming.
Very good quality, service was good. But they do not serve coffee with desserts?!? This doesn’t make any sense and even the staff doesn’t know why management refuse to do so. Very disappointed
Overpriced. Overrated. Equivalent to fast food pizza. Service was the only redeemable part of the experience.
Overall very good but they can’t split the cost of something that was shared this should’ve been explained when we ordered.
Everything was very good but the pizza was disappointing I was expecting something a bit more authentic and special.
Good hang out joint
Reservation on time with no wait to be seated. social distancing handled very well. Sat at a higher table with a bench cushion and two stool/chairs, the stool/chairs were not very comfortable. Aperol spritz was delicious but a little pricey. The calamari and eggplant appetizers were amazing. The pasta special a carbonara was absolutely delicious and the pizza was also delicious. Portions were small for the price. yes would recommend and would definitely return.
Disappointed.
Food was just ok
Everything felt rushed , plates were just thrown on table w/o clearing empty plates, bottles, glass, etc etc
Service didn’t exist. Staff walks by empty handed with eyes away from tables. Not there to help.
Sliding doors wide open- seated right by them, when we asked to close them as kids were Ayer shower- noses were bending...
Too bad.
Good food and service overall
Worst service - mediocre food - no ambiance whats so ever.
Spend your money elsewhere.
Deliciously prepared fresh food - so yummy. Kids loved their pizza and my husband and I loved our cabrese salad and pasta dishes. Very good Covid safety protocols in place (individually wrapped bread, olive oil for dipping and napkins/cutlery, paper menus, dividers between nicely spread out tables.
Dinner was good but nothing exceptional about it.
Was not impressed with the hostess. Had a complaint and nothing was done for it to be resolved.
Great food!! Great staff. Really a wonderful experience.
Food was fine, nothing special. Italian food you could get anywhere. Was told by hostess to wrap up our dinner even though we just got our meal and was in the middle of eating. Had reservations at 5:30 and was told at 6:55 that we need to leave by 7:15 because there were other reservations. I've never been asked to rush my meal before and usually are given a 2 hour window before they ask you to leave. Was very shocked to be told to wrap it up while I was mid bite of my food. Service was pretty slow even though it was not that busy which was why it took so long for us to get out food. Overall, an average place with no wow factor.
Met a friend for lunch. It was our first visit. We had an amazing meal. Lindsay looked after us Royally, kept our wine glasses full and make good suggestions. Parking validation was a nice surprise. Will e back for sure.
Overall a good experience- however our requested substitutions couldn’t be accommodated and our food was not brought out at the same time, usually not an issue but my partner is allergic to seafood and we couldn’t share so it left him waiting until my dish arrived. We also made
Mention of it being our anniversary in the reservation and there was nothing acknowledged.
Mussels were good and pasta was just ok. We have had pizza in the past and didn’t find it good. Drinks were good. In the past we found the fish restaurant to be excellent.
