La Piazza never disappoints! We had the spinach & artichoke dip, meat pizza, penne, salmon risotto and chocolate fondant dessert. All very flavourful and cooked to perfection. Aperol spritz and limoncello spritz were also delicious. Always highly recommend this restaurant! Recommend reservations :)

We had three in our group. One ordered the pepperoni pizza and enjoyed it.One ordered the alfedo pasta and found it really bland and lacking in flavor. I had the lobster roll special and it was fabulous. Service was great. Found sitting outside noisy .We do enjoy this restaurant and will certainly come back as our other dining experiences here have been great.

The staff is absolutely amazing and are so friendly. I have only had pizza here but I absolutely love their wood fired pizza...absolutely amazing. Have eaten here several times and will eventually try something besides the pizza.

Enjoyed our meal and excellent service in this neighbourhood restaurant off the beaten track. Well worth the few blocks away from downtown and has plenty of nearby street parking in a residential area. The portions are large (we will do more sharing next time) and food is tasty. The calamari is very spicy which I really enjoyed but too hot for the wife. My Funghi pizza was a little bland but the 3 others at our table enjoyed their other choices.

Really enjoyed our meal, cosy small restaurant. Friendly staff. Meals were tasty and nicely presented. Was really busy, surprising for a Sunday night, we we’re glad we had a reservation. My only complaint was that all our cappuccinos were cold...need to froth the milk longer!

We held a family birthday celebration here for 15 adults on the evening of Sat, July 13th, and we were all very pleased with the venue, food, and especially the dedicated service. I live in NB and had never been to Las Piazza Resto Cafe before -- I selected the restaurant solely based on it coming up as a recommendation from OpenTable when the original restaurant I tried to book was unavailable. Fortunately, everything worked out very well and we had the upstairs area to ourselves which was perfect. For the main course, several people in our party had the pizza which looked delicious, while the rest of us enjoyed a variety of other different entrees. There was something for everyone on the menu at various price points, and all seemed happy with their meal and the portion size. Prices appeared to be very reasonable for the type and quality of food that was served. It was a great evening and I look forward to going back on a future trip to Halifax. Thank you to our servers for a job well done! (Note: the only hiccup was when I called to confirm my reservation on Friday for Saturday evening. The restaurant did not have record of it. Fortunately, they were still ble to accommodate us. If you reserve through OpenTable, it may be prudent to call to make sure they have the reservation.)

We LOVED La Piazza! We were celebrating a rare family visit, and we couldn’t have found a better spot to celebrate. Excellent service and delicious pizzas with a crisp and airy crust. Leftovers were just as crisp and airy the next day! A well-constructed menu with all the Mediterranean favourites; the wine selection was well chosen and affordable. We’ll be back!!

Fantastic service. Good order was a bit delayed; however we were a large party and restaurant was quite busy. Our waitress continually checked on us and kept us updated on the status of our order(S). Pizza was very good - thin crust and very authentic.

Service was competent and polite, but our food was rushed to us, i.e. the mains were brought before we'd finished our appetizers. If we'd wanted fast food we'd have gone to McDonalds!

Drove by this place often, finally decided to try it out. Good food, because it’s not in a major commercial area, it’s wasn’t too busy for a Friday night. Good pizza and options.

We been meaning to try this place forever so we went befor the John mellancamp concert as it was close to the forum. The food and service were amazing, we will be back, even if it’s juts to get pizza to go!

A hidden gem at the top of our street with authentic Italian food, pizzas and delightfully creative meals. Well priced food and wine. Great ambiance and service. Only one caveat, the homemade bread pudding isn’t served with real whipped cream. Otherwise, everything was great.

We love the food - the pizzas are wonderful thin crust and the appetizers and entrees offer sufficient variety and are always very good. The staff are friendly and accommodating and while the restaurant can be loud when it is full, it is lovely on evenings with fewer guests. We recommend La Piazza Resto to all of our friends.

Great spot for a short or long meal. Menu was easy to navigate with good options without overwhelming you. Background noise was minimal making for easy conversation. Food was tasty and made with fresh ingredients. I had a pizza that was made with a light flavourful dough...a big differentiator between pizzas, but also sampled the kids starters which were just as good. Good quality food for any occasion in an atmosphere that feels genuine. I'll be back.
