Food was great, but definitely overpriced for the quantity/value you receive. Servers were great when ordering, but didn't check in on us at all after our food arrived. Had to wait a long time for someone to come by to ask for the bill.
Really enjoyed our experience here. Food was outstanding, service was good, everything was timely. The negronis were perfect; and I definitely would recommend the burrata and the mushroom truffle gnochhi. We will be back!
Although the pasta was truly delicious, service was just really slow. Took around half an hour to get the food, and another half to get our bill. Staff were pleasant.
Great food but a bit overpriced and waiters could be a bit more attentive. Gorgeous view, great ambiance.
One advantage to Covid dining is the added spacing between tables. The normally raucous atmosphere is subdued, making for a more pleasant dining experience. The food is superb. Unfortunately you cannot enjoy dessert and coffee at the table at the present time.
This was a lovely lunch! My mom and I enjoyed both our waiters as they were so professional and warm. Our lunch was delicious, we highly recommend our friends and family to come here.
My pizza was great , my rigatoni was so undercooked , almost uneatable…
The server should have exchanged it right away…… I felt bad so I did not insist …. On hind site I wish I had insisted a new plate…. I’ve had pasta my whole life, I’ve never had pasted that A dente , it was just so under cooked…
Great food, construction outside wasn’t very pleasant!
Great wait staff
It was an amazing experience!
Really like the pizza. The crust and flavour was excellent. Little fast with the bill. Would ordered dessert, but the bill came before I had chance to ask for dessert.
Really excellent lunch. Only problem was some loud construction sound that occurred briefly during our meal.
Absolutely so disappointing. Whoever served us should not have their job - had NO knowledge about the menu, made us wait 30 min before asking if we want drinks, didn’t check in on us... horrible service. Horrible experience.
Food was good. But one person received their entree just after receiving our appetizer so her entree was getting cold while she ate her appetizer. And the other 3 people had to wait significantly longer for their entree. Just makes it frustrating when the timing of the food delivery is off by so much.
Service and cooking technique is still good but was disappointed by the Misto Frutti di Mare. There was 1cm calamari and 1 shrimp for a $35 dish. Luckily the staff and manager understood and offered to replace the dish.
The food & service at Eataly is outstanding. The staff is extremely friendly. They made a food accommodation for my mother as she is a bit on the picky side with certain sauces. I would highly recommended this restaurant.
Overall great meal.
Just found a piece of mozzarella that i could buy at a grocery store for $5.00 selling for $20.00 was a bit excessive.
Otherwise service was great and drinks were tasty.
First time eating at the Toronto version. We’ve been many times to the NYC version and visited a few in Italy. Great pizza and pasta as expected - good to see they have the consistency going for them.
Looking forward to more visits and trying the other restaurants and bars as we move away from Covid restrictions
We love chef Lydia but the experience was so disappointing. 30$ charcuterie board was a joke. 40$ lobster pasta not worth it at all. I like quality and value and got neither.
The service was absolutely amazing, everyone was super friendly and catered to any and all of our needs. The food was TO DIE FOR! We had the meatballs which were delicious along with 2 pizzas and WOW. I can't rave enough about the food, if you haven't gone then you are truly missing out.
The food was great! We loved the pizza and burrata.
Very good food, had the fresh ravioli with pear and gorgonzola and it was delicious. Waiter was polite and professional. Food was reasonably priced, but don't expect to pay less than $15 for a pizza/pasta option. Wine was a bit on the pricy side. Overall, a great dining experience, would most definitely recommend.
Very nice, but not as nice as the one in New York! Not impressed with the condiments in plastic containers (but that might be a COVID thing?). Very impressed with the Italian servers!
I had the gluten free pizza. It was just delicious-the best gluten free crust I’ve ever had. The salad I had was also delicious and fresh. It’s fun to shop at Eataly before sitting down to eat. I will be returning!
Service was quick and the food portions were adequate. I don’t know how much people expect to eat normally and why they would complain about small portions but we all thought there was a good amount of food. We
Its a 5 Start experience less the impact of COVID restrictions which makes it 4 stars.
This was our first time @ Eataly Toronto, and due to the COVID restrictions, it lacked the ambiance of the Manhattan Eataly. I can't wait to return when the COVID situation is better, and we can have the full Eataly Experience.
Service was great, and they were able to accommodate a Gluten + Dairy restrictions - make sure you ask, as they had options not called out on the menu.
The Gluten Free / Dairy Free Pizza was fabulous - It was as good as most gourmet pizza I have had, and is the best Gluten free crust I have had. Hopefully we can buy the dough for @ home too?
The seafood pasta and the ravioli were also very very good.
We will definitely return.
Great experience.. smaller portions but the food was delicious! Drinks were severely overpriced and can be found in the Eataly market for a fraction of the cost. Otherwise, I would definitely return (and drink water!)
The restaurant was crowded, so even though we got there on time we still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The food and service was excellent, we had a lovely evening.
Great food and ambience! Nice to be able to purchase a variety of Good products from the Eately Store.
We came as a family for a nice long overdue outing. The service and attitude of our servers was not acceptable. Made our experience disappointing for sure.
While the Margherita pizza & arancini were served nicely hot, the tagliatelle bolognese was not. IMO, the fresh pasta was a tad underdone & sauce not heated enough. Seasoning (salt) was on the heavy side across the board.
Perfect! First time at Toronto location
Super overrated, the food wasn't tasty at all and very expensive.
Excellent service & food! I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Italian food.
Don’t understand the hype, food is worse than microwave food and so much more expensive ..
On recommendation of my daughter that we tried this restaurant. Ambiance was great & since we had reservation, there was already a table waiting for us. pizza & pasta was great. Completely run down our plates.. Gelato was really flavorful just like in Venice, Italy.
La Pizza & La Pasta was a nice experience, definitely somewhere to go for a special occasion but found that you don’t get much for what you pay for. I found it overpriced for average food
Nice food, everything in the menu is amazing! The cannoli was awesome!
A foodie experience! Fun to incorporate shopping and dining. Our pizza was some of the best we've ever had!
