Amazing! All of it. The wine and food pairing went extremely well.
We found the portions a bit on the smaller side for the price. The food was delicious tasting but expensive. There were 4 of us dining and the server suggested that the one of us that ordered a pizza wait for the other 3 to be served and have their pizza at the same time since it only “takes 5 minutes” the other 3 had our dinners and almost finished eating before the pizza arrived. Our wait staff changed half way through the meal, which is understandable but our new server messed up our bills twice and instead of listening to direction she kept interrupting and assuming she knew what should be done. All this being said, I will go back before the food was delicious, but it won’t be a regular thing because of the cost.
We enjoyed our whole experience at this restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient. But the pizza, the pizza was the BEST we have had anywhere. I’m Italian and grew up with homemade pizza. I make amazing pizza. But this pizza was the best. We had the Versace and Salumiere. I would work here for a week for free just to apprentice with the pizza makers, to master their technique. The crust was cooked to perfection with the perfect blend of crunch and chew. We will be back!!!! Strongly recommend!
The food wasn’t great especially their seasonal “ gnocchi”. The truffles did not taste like real truffles and are not worth the extra price tag. Anyone who is familiar with good Italian food wouldn’t have enjoyed.
The biggest issue was with our server Jon C. When he asked how the food was and we gave our honest opinion he took the plate away and did not offer to give us a chance to look at the menu to order something else or even an apology. It was more like he was offended how we didn’t like the food. There are lots of Italian options in Toronto with amazing food and businesses that are family run. Your money would be better spent there
Food and server were amazing.
Friend 82nd birthday celebration
Service in the restaurant is nice. However, in the store, rest stuff is clueless and not helpful. Also it's jam packed everywhere during lunch time.
front desk was rude, forgot the appetizers/starters came at the end of the meal after reminding them. Overall not a good experience.
FABULOUS dining experience. Thank you to all staff. It was wonderful.
The pizza is so good and pasta too😘
We ordered 3 types of pizza. Very good. Only issue we had, our waiter forgot to ask if we would like to have extra olive oil, fresh black pepper, or extra parmesan top of our pizza. Overall, very pleasant experience. Highly recommended! Make sure to book your table in advance. Around lunch time it was very crowded on a week day.
Just confusing which restaurant you are booking/visiting - all similar names…
Table seating should be a little nicer. Was like eating in a nice cafeteria.
Eataly's resturant as usual is a good time. The ingredients and dishes are excellent and today was no exception. We were served our dishes in a strange manor with our pizza first, then appetizer and then 25 minutes later our pasta. Overall, great for just a good meal.
Great food great service!!! Slightly more expensive than average. And they really cram you in there. The tables for two are so close to each other you really feel you’re dining with the people to your left and right !!!! So if that’s not your thing be prepared.
Making reservations is supposed to prevent waiting - this was definitely it the case. My second time here and both times had to wait close to 15 mins to be seated. Other than that it’s a great fun restaurant with delicious food. The waiter was nice.
Atmosphere was great, but meal was mediocre, and the main course was brought while we were still eating our appetizers. For the money, we were unimpressed. Won't be going back.
most of the food was really good minus the charcuterie board. cheese was dry with many pieces of rind and was to small for 27$.
service is really bad. no one clearing tables before dropping food. or even worse dropping food and clearing simultaneously. having to ask to wipe down table when server spilt honey allover the table. I could go on and on.
We were nervous being placed in a very crowded section because of COVID spread potential but the hostess understood our concerns and found a booth for us.
Showed up on time for our "reservation". Not that it mattered. The greeter just looked around until he found a table. My wife and I sat there for 5 minutes. Nobody even acknowledged our presence. No hello. No water. Nothing. Waiters just walked on by. Got up and left. The food we saw looked good. The "service", not so much.
Lunch experience - excellent pasta, an important contributor being the cheese, but well flavoured in other respects as well. Good Barolo on the side. In a restaurant surrounded by Eataly’s food store - interesting and attractive offerings there.
The service was terrible. We told the waitress in advance that we want the tiramisu and she said that we can order it at the end. But when we asked for it she told us that was sold out! Same with the coffee. The waitress was not nice and very unfriendly. The food was good and the ambiance too.
Great food and value. Went and got dessert in the market area after.
A bit chaotic as there was no clear indication of where the beginning of the line was. But that could been intentional to give a bit of the old world feel.
We always have fun. our only ever complaint is I wish they would put a little more sauce on their pastas!
Even with a reservation and tables visibly available it took 30 minutes to be seated. In addition, there’s no waiting area for those with a reservation.
When seated our server did not greet us with a smile and was very impatient to take our order. At the end of the main course, instead of asking if we’d like to see the dessert menu or if we’d like to order anything else the server without asking if we wanted the bill gave us our bill.
The food is great, however I would rather go to a restaurant where I’d be treated with more respect as a costumer.
Atmosphere was very nice, I enjoyed walking around after dinner to see the products at the market. The price of the food and drinks are a bit pricy but the food was very tasty. We got a window seat where it was a bit more quiet and less crowded.
Service was terrible but the food was impressive.
Quite an enjoyable dinner - food was delicious!!!!
Food was excellent.....tomato sauce a little bland but pizza, mozzarella & tiramisu were so good
Quite noisy & tables a little too close for my comfort
Lovely lunch with friends and family, wonderful food, attentive and discreet service, lively view of Bloor Street. Memorable, to be sure.
Food is great, and the service is polite and fast.
For my birthday I suggested to our family we eat at La pizza & la pasta at Eataly. I thought it would be fun, with great food and hospitable service. We visited Eataly in NYC and had a great time. WOW, was this a different experience. I booked the reservation weeks in advance indicating this was a birthday, and was literally seated in the worst table, butted up against a wall. Fine we move on, the food was OK not amazing, the value terrible. We ordered the fried seafood plate at $34 as an appetizer and there were more vegetable than seafood, I've had a plate of calamari the same size for 1/2 the price at other great restaurants like Piano Piano. And the service, quite astonishing how inattentive. At the end of the night she didn't even ask whether we wanted a dessert menu, which was odd given we were celebrating a birthday. By that point we were fed up, paid and left, we walked down the hall and bought a tiramisu and a few other treats. The place was loud and not the experience we wanted. If you want better food and ambience go to your nearest Piano Piano, Terroni or Stock TC, the food is spectacular and the service is done by people who are happy, friendly and really want you to have a great experience. Eataly missed the mark on all fronts.
Excellent lunch. couldn’t be better. Just like in Italy
Great experience and food.
We had dined at the Eataly patio several times and had enjoyed the food a lot, but it was our first time at La Pizza and La Pasta and we were really disappointed with our food. The gnocchi was good but both the pizzas were burnt in several areas and barely had any sauce on them.
Had a great time at Eataly for their 2 course special. Our food came out very quick and there was always someone checking up on us which was very nice!
Terrible pizza. Cold and tasteless. Not good value. Salad was good and so was wine
Service was very good
7$ for water. What do they think that they are actually in Italy? Also for whatever reason that could not be split but one person at the table had to pay for it. Food is good but the service really does not make me want to come back.
Great food but if you are a party of 2 be prepared to be seated EXTREMELY close to other tables and listen in on conversations
