Great ambiance and service. Fantastic food and drink selection and service to match. Will be back ASAP.
Flavorless and bland.
I had a lunch first time at Eataly Manulife centre in Toronto, We had a good time and good food, definitely we will come back.
Server was fantastic and food was delicious. Little wIth after seated. I wish they do better job of managing guests waiting in line. Some people were skipping lines and the lineup was way too long and the wait was long
Overall, very nice experience
What a great experience. I want to thank RA…..he was the assistant manager who came to our table. He was wearing a very smart blue shirt. I had been in touch with Mathew Cosentino, and we wanted to thank him. It was all wonderful.
I made a mistake in paying the bill. I only left a tip of $5. I’m old and do not see that well. My companions saw the error and we left a $20 bill.
We will return, as it was truly a wonderful experience.. Thank you.
We booked our table through open table - there was a line up when we arrived and when left. Our waitress didn’t ask if we would like coffee at the end of our meal - we are fast eaters and so 100% were not beyond reasonable. She even sent someone else over to take payment. We did mention that we were surprised that we were being asked to pay because we hadn’t finished our meal and why - the guy offered us coffee but by then we felt a bit unwelcome so we paid and left.
Our reservations for the patio part of the restaurant was cancelled less than 2 hrs by a phone call from the restaurant. They cancelled as it was cold out and they said they didn't have much reservations that were made anyway. Not a problem until they told me that they would not be switching our reservations to indoor dining (which is what other restaurants do to honour the reservation). Hostess who called told me to try for online reservations again and that she would be unable to assist in the matter.
The place is great! Tables for two make it almost intimate time. Flowers on each table are a pretty touch.
The food is very very good! Ingredients are of a great quality! The recipe are so tasteful and flavorful and realized with attention!
The only problem we had there is about the service timing: we were not even in the middle of our antipasti when our main course (pizza) arrived... And the waiter asked us if we were done with our antipasti, when we were obviously not! It was weird, they were not well coordinated.
The other thing, related to this event, was that we felt pressured to stay for as short as possible... Not a good thing went you want to spent a quality and relaxing time as a couple.
The food was not fresh and was overly salty: if you want Authentic Italian food do not go here.
Despite a full restaurant, they were completely understanding when we were late to our reservation because of traffic. Food was outstanding for price point!
Overall, my experience was underwhelming. The food was over priced and the service was slow. I opted for a two course meal, and the appetizer came after the main. Fried chicken was really dry until we asked for some sauce.
They were very busy and we didn’t get seated until 20 minutes after our reservation, however they were gracious and made it up to us!
The food is authentically Italian with flair. Tasty, hot and staff answered questions knowledgeably and professionally. Excellent experience!
Their Italian pizza is amazing, pasta is good, too. Service was very (as in very-very) slow and overall not great.
Excellent service today! A slight error on my drink order (which I didn’t mind) and our server was so apologetic. He was great.
I was there to celebrate my Birthday with my husband and I had an amazing experience. Everything was so great! I`ll definitely come back!
We all had a marvellous time enjoying the amazing dishes and fabulous drinks. We had sweet and heavenly dessert at Venchi next door. Such a glorious place. We adore Eataly. Looking forward to returning soon. Always excellent service with a smile.
Went to my hubby for an amazing lunch. Food and service was so amazing. It is my third time at Eataly and I cannot wait to go again.
Our server was kind of grumpy when I asked her to tell me which vegetarian options we had. Since already pointed them out once to my husband, when I asked again, because I couldn’t see what she was pointed out to plus the heavy Italian accent, she sounded a little frustrated.
Next, we specifically mentioned we were vegetarian. But there was a piece of salami in our pizza. The manager apologized and replaces it. But the damage was already down since we had already eaten half the pizza before we saw that piece. His explanation was it was stuck on the pizza cutter. But should t you be using different pizza cutters for vegetarian and meat dishes since this is a big deal in some cultures? The thought of having eaten salami by mistake in my pizza is very discomforting to me. Food choices are personal choices and restaurants must be respectful enough to take all precautions to accommodate them, especially when you are offering these options.
Waited half an hour for the server. Appetizers did not come at the same time, forgot one persons appetizer. Main course came right after app and felt kind of rushed when eating
Our waiter was super nice, the food was delicious and the overall experience was great. The place was a bit noisy/busy but we were ok with it, just letting other people know with this review (if you prefer quiet places). We will be back!
Was good. Thought you can add more to your burrata dish considering the price tag. It was very busy at the restaurant when we dined but overall it was good
Felt chaotic. Nothing special.
Dinner was delicious. It comes out as it is prepared so quick and hot. Great location when leaving work, out shopping, with friends or looking for a family friendly place to eat. Highly recommend.
Love this place...been there a few times and every time it's been amazing. Food, service, people, etc.
I have been to the one in NYC (FLATIRON) about 5-6 times and that is my favorite. It's huge inside and packed. Really happy we have one in Toronto and I hear rumors of a second location.
Was double charged for my meal. Called the restaurant to resolve. Left a message. Sent an email. 4+ days later still awaiting it to be addressed by restaurant. This doesn’t make me feel good. Being charged $110 for a bowl gnocchi, and order of rice balls and one glass of Prosecco. Still waiting…
Nice place and food. Pricey due to location, I think.
I decided to try the fresh seasonal MEZZALUNE DI RUCOLA E LIMONE last night and OMG IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!
The lemon, ricotta, and arugula filling was light and fresh, the pasta itself was well made, and every element tied together so well 👌🏼Loved the addition of pistachios on top 😍
Of course all of their dishes are amazing, but I have to say this is one of my favourites !
🍽 MEZZALUNE di Rucola e Limone
Housemade Ricotta, Lemon, and Arugula Stuffed Half Moon Pasta, Lemon Butter, Pistachio, Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP
🍽 TAGLIATELLE alla Bolognese
Thin, Ribbon-shaped Housemade Pasta, Beef and Pork Ragù, Mutti Tomato, Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP
I asked for a Gnocci porccini and it arrived raw. They gave me another one that was better cooked but tasting nothing. I could only taste the flour. Tottaly disappointed.
Main issue was that the pizza kitchen and pasta kitchen are two different kitchens, so the pizza for my grandkids came out 15 min after my pasta arrived. The servers should be timing that better. The pasta was delicious, Fritto Misto was greasy(not their best dish), my grandkids gave the pizza two thumbs up.
Servers we had were both very nice and friendly, but they could have been a bit more attentive.
The food was very good but I feel the wines are over-priced. A half litre of basic wine should not be $36. You could buy 3 full bottles of it for the same price in the LCBO.
I was overexcited about going to this restaurant as my husband and I shop there every week. The pizza at the counter is awesome so my expectations were high. The service was excellent by the way. The pizza was awful with no taste at all. The crust was soggy and too thin not at all like the counter pizza. The antipasto plate was not will proportioned. The meat to cheese ratio was not correct and the fig jam was too much for such little cheese. The cotolleta was burned with parmesan cheese just thrown onto and on the side salad. The tonno salad was terrible. The lettuce was bruised, I counted 2 olives and barley tasted the tuna as there was so little. I used for dressing t be just olive oil on the side and it never arrived. The wine, however, was excellent. The coffee had no selection just espresso. I won't be going back. For someone who visits Italy 4 times a year and is Italian herself, this restaurant was not for Italian but rather a "fast food Italian restaurant" with no cultural taste.
Authentic Italian experience. Just wonderful.
Great food and excellent service!!
Our server named Lea was amazing! The food was tasty, hot, and did not take long to prepare! My partner and I will definitely be going back.
Food was good. Generous and fresh. Somewhat pricey. Experience was worth it but not something I would do regularly. Covid restrictions were adhered to which was positive.
Great menu, attentive service and wonderful flavours. Make this a must-visit if you are vacationing in Toronto.
it was great food, good portion and delicious. Will go back soon
