This place was a real disappointment. I wanted a real Montreal steak experience and this place fell flat. The service was ok, not top notch. Could have gotten the same in less high end restaurant. I ordered a martini to start, which came out kind of skimpy. The tuna tataki I got as an app was good but no chop sticks! I order a filet medium rare with cognac peppercorn sauce a bone marrow and side of Brussel sprouts in maple dressing and pork belly. Honestly the best thing was the Brussel sprouts. My first stake came out medium almost well. They took the meal away and brought me a whole new one. Then everything came out and the bone marrow was underdone. So they took that back. The steak was cooked fine and tasted ok. The bone marrow when it came back was good. Together they were underwhelming. I really enjoyed the Brussel sprouts. For dessert I got the white chocolate cheesecake which was amazing. Overall it was underwhelming and a disappointment. If I come back to Montreal I’ll take my money and appetite elsewhere. I have been to some great steakhouses and this was not one unfortunately.
Me and my friend got a food intoxication eating the 275$ steak. Food was good. Music to loud, does not match the high end menu. For tourists.
Muchas espectativas de este Restaurant tan recomendado y creo esta muy caro para lo que cenamos
Nada espectacular la comida
The food was amazing the beef carpaccio was made to perfection as the owner overlooked and perfected it himself. Food was delicious. Will have to go back for the carpaccio next time I’m in town.
Every year for the past 10years i get a reservation, and every year i’m impress by the food and the service.
Service was excellent. Must say we hadn’t tried aged beef and none of us liked it. But the service was excellent and is why I am giving it a 5 star
A spectacular dining experience. The service and food was beyond comparable to most 5star restaurants. Servers treat you like VIP. The A5 Waygu is incredible cooked and seasoned to perfection.
Was one of the best meals of my life. The oysters are amazing
They don’t have enough knowledge on their Menue and they don’t have enough servers on weekend we had to wait 40 mins to get our next drink and order our meal
Not the cheapest steak restaurant but definitely worth it! My girlfriend and I had a great time, food was delicious and service outstanding.
Great place with great food.
All was great! Very good attention to detail. Tatyana was great but needs to eat.
Love this place. The atmosphere, wine list, drinks, waiters and food are all amazing. We highly recommend this place and will be back every time we are in Montreal!❤️
Best steakhouse in Montreal.
Lots of items on the menu were not available. Especially, we came for stakes made from real Canadian beef - those on the menu from Canada were not available as well as some items on side dishes (I.e. asparagus) - on Sunday evening. Nevertheless, the USDA steaks were excellent and the service too. I would love to see some local beers or at least Canadian craft beers on the menu, not only mass production beers.
The boys and I took my brother here for a pre-bachelor party dinner. What an experience! From the second we walked in to the end of our steak dinner it was top notch all away with excellent service amazing quality food and top world class hospitality! I cannot recommend this place enough! The quality of service received was unparalleled and something we will talk about for a very very long time to come! Thanks to everyone there who did such a phenomenal job! My brother and the rest of the guys completely appreciated it!
The best steak ever. Have the Lou's cut if you go.
Tout était exceptionnel, de la qualité de la nourriture au service et à l’accueil. Seul petit bémol: la musique qui était trop forte et inappropriée au style du restaurant. Autrement, nous avons été comblés.
Overall excellent. The service from Lambro (apologies for the spelling) and the team was excellent. One of our highlights for our quick family vacation to Montreal. Steaks were perfect, wine and appetizers were as well.
Fantastic service and food
This place purports to be a fancy steakhouse, and the prices will trick you into it if you blink! However, the food was lackluster at best. Our foie grad was raw and everything was under seasoned. It’s a tourist trap.
This is our third time having dinner here and we will return next time we are in Montreal. The atmosphere downstairs in the lounge area is stunning. The food was exceptional and the staff overall was delightful. We highly recommend!
Diner pre show! Too expensive for the quality of food! Dessert was very good and wine! But steak was tough & shrimp were also tough, wedged salad was very ordinary so was the lobster pasta, Homard bisque was very ordinary kind of watered down!
Muy buena comida
Great food great service
As always, everything was cooked and prepared to perfection and the staff were both courteous and fun.
Prix pour Américains du show-business. Trop trop chere
Delicious food. Great staff. Great service. Everything was high quality and you were treated as such.
Old school steakhouse. Very boys club atmosphere. Steak prepared perfectly. Pickles were a nice surpise.
Desserts were amazing.
Expensive, but excellent food (I live in NYC). They were out of some of the high priced and specialty cuts. I had the 45-60 day aged rib eye - delicious. Add the bone marrow - you’ll thank me later! Wife had the salmon and loved it. Waiter could have been friendlier - seemed annoyed when he was asked to “only grill” the fish and had to ask if that’s ok. Odd to say the least. But the rest of the staff were delightful. Not a place for kids - my very well-behaved 6 year old daughter was the only one there for dinner. No kids menu, but they have a Mac n cheese and meatball dish on the menu which sufficed. A strong recommendation for a special occasion or if you win big at the casino.
Excellent meal with fresh top schrimps and top Alberta region meat. A splendid gastronomic address in Montreal !
Everything was delicious and meticulously prepared. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. Great atmosphere too!
We ordered two steaks - 1 medium rare and 1 medium. They came out medium well. The sides were good.
Notre repas après matiage le 18 juin 2019
Good location, menu is not very varied, I got a 148$ steak that was advertized as being dry aged 60 days, but was not. There was no aged taste whatsoever and tasted like a regular market steak. The restaurant’s answer was: we do not know what to tell you. Not the answer I was expecting from a high end restaurant. Will not go back, the food was subpar on so many levels. Taste was good, but not what they advertized. I felt ripped off. Very small wine by the glass menu. Save youreelf some disappointment and go to The Keg instead. You’ll get the same quality of food and way better service for 1/4 the price!
Good food, great service...but walked out with a $425 bill for two people ...probably will think twice before returning
Some people might like the ashes on a seriously charcoal burned steak. I don’t. Also found more expensive steaks on the bill than what we had ordered. No apology. Not going there again.
My steak was over cooked. Waiter agreed and offered to bring another. I declined as it disrupts the rhythm of the meal.
Restaurant was way too loud. Food was mediocre at best. Service was more flash than substance.
