Food and service were great. Was quite pricey however.
Super good food, amazing service with the waitors giving awesome recomendations with wines and food for sharing etc. Really impressed, would definitely dine there again, but it is definitely on the expensive side.
It’s nice for a date and the service was amazing...you will here this a lot from them - “We have someone for everything” IT’s TRUE! the food was amazing cooked to perfection. My server was amazing playful always smiling Best service i’ve rece At a restaurant by far. It’s a bit pricey tho but it’s quality food and that comes at a cost.
Everything was PERFECT!!!! The service, the food, the ambiance were all impeccable!! Thank you for a great experience. The only negative is that it is a little pricey...but in the end it was worth it.

The steak was good but nothing out of the oedinary.
I was using the valet parking as usual and clearly told him I was going to the hockey game and 5 minutes before the game he told me that I have to find an other parking and became very arrogant. After arguing I kept my car there. But the guy was very arrogant. The rest of my experiance was super. I am going to QC 2 to 3 times a month. I am a regular but this experiance was not a good one.
Amazing dining experience. Steaks are the best. My visitor from Philly (loyal Mortons client) clearly stated out loud the steak at Queue de Cheval was the best ever!!! Bar staff the most fun!! When we walked in greeted with a big smile and a hug! The best staff!!
My favourite restaurant and this visit was very disappointing ...they ran out of shrimp and over cooked my steak. Was burnt on the outside. Very disappointing
Great evening with two of my best buddy. Service was outstanding, the waiters are always there when you need them. Ambiant sound lets you have audible conversation, ambiant music is pleasing to the ears. Need to make a detour by the bar down stairs. Scenario; 3 guests, 3 aperitif, 18 oysters platter, shared sides of fries, grilled asparagus and potatoes, 3 outstanding steak, 2 bottles of great Italian Brunello, 1 Brazilian coffee, 2 machiato, 2 deserts, 2 bottles of San Pelligrino. Total tax included before tip, $1146.65
I consider 20% being a fair tip for a great service...total for this evening, $1375.98
Was it worth it? I'd say yes for the the ambiance and the service but...I had better tasting steak for quite less in other well known restaurants in Montreal. Of cours the menu offer other selection and you can probably get by with a less expensive bill. Must try if you pass by Montreal, go for the basics and you should have a great experience! Free parking just on the side of the building.
Excellent service, notre serveur était très attentionné et à l’écoute (Michael Babin). Je vous le recommande! De plus la bouffe était vrmt délicieuse (huîtres, steak). Nous étions à l’étage inférieure (sous-sol) et ce fut parfait en tout point.
Un accueil chaleureux et sympathique, un service attentionné et efficace, ainsi qu'une cuisine de tout premier ordre, ici tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour passer un excellent moment, c'est un restaurant incontournable si l'on se rend à Montréal. Nous connaissons ce restaurant depuis 2001 c'est toujours le même niveau et le nouveau cadre est très chaleureux. Merci.
Great food been there in the past, food was always good, now the food and service is great
I had been to the old location a few times and looked forward to someday sharing it with my children. My last visit was when my son was 1 month old. Accompanied by my now 12-year old son, 13-year old daughter, and my wife, we visited the restaurant on a Saturday night before a Canadiens' game. The food was as great as ever and the new location is even better. Outstanding food and service that was timely and got us to the game with time to spare. The decor was interesting enough to divert the kids' attention away from their phones for an hour. The hard part is deciding which steak to order because the choices abound. I look forward to a weekend without the kids when we can hang out at the Angry Lobster downstairs.
Went out for an anniversary, had an amazing time. The staff was super friendly and the food was very good. Menu is expensive (knew this going in) but my bill was less than I expected, very pleased with the whole experience.
Went for my boyfriend’s birthday, it was such a great experience ! Food simple and well done! I hated lobster until I had a bite and it was buttery, melting, soooo goood.
The peppercorn sauce was super tasty as well. No regret!
The service and our waiter was great! He really went above and beyond. The food was really good. Great selection of steaks and wagyu. Sides were delicious, but found them pretty small when doing a family style meal. Overall great place to eat!

Unecessarily expensive. Most annoying thing was that the restaurant was half empty but they initially tried to seat our party of 4 at a large table for 6 that was literally on top of the entryway - when there were plenty of empty tables for 4. The food was good but not worth the price. Also, felt like a steak place that could be anywhere; nothing about it captured the ambiance of Montreal.
Excellent service however most of what we ordered was out of stock.
Sorry for the delay in responding. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful evening for my Father's 95th birthday on December 21. He stills talks about it. Beautiful and memorable evening. The attention & care was beyond. From the food, the staff everyone came to see him and congratulated him on his 95. Promise I will bring him for lunch as if you remember you use Cacao Barry chocolate and I told you that its my Dad who got the exclusivity in 1984. You told us the baker is Syrian like my Father and to bring him so he can meet him. The food was unbelievable but most of all its the attention you gave him as we told you difficult times and my Mom could not be present so it was tough for him but you made him feel special. What a beautiful team and I will definitely bring him again. Never we will forget what you did for him. Cheers! Monique & Jacques & Edgar

For a restaurant with such a historical reputation, I expected something more “over the top.” Have been to other restaurants by same owner and had an exceptional experience. Just wasn’t worth the money.

Great wait staff. Amazing food. Try the A9 Australian Kobe.
Main meals were not good at all, so they offered to replace it with a regular steak and fries.
I ordered 2 cheesecakes, one as a surprise with a “happy birthday note”, requested way upfront, no notes at all (even if they called me 1.5 hours before to reconfirm and ask me, if it could have been written in English instead French and I said yes)
They also mess with the coffee, my boyfriend asked for a decaf and after they came back and said, ohhh sorry no decaf today, the order didn’t come in
Homard bisque appetizer was too smoky and too spicy
Let’s say that my Surprise Birthday Lunch was way more surprising than should be, and definitely NOT in the good way
I was a bit disappointed, as the prices went up and the size of the steak went down. I always eat the Big Lou’s Ribeye and this time it wasn’t nearly as big as the ones I always had. I don’t know, if I will go there again!

We had dinner before the game. The service was excellent and they made sure we were served and done in time to make the game! Very nice!
They mixed up our meal and my steak was overcooked. Dispite the temp of my steak, the food was very good.
This is a busy place and very loud.
I was really excited to eat here based on the reviews and my friends recommendations, sadly the food didn’t live up to the big hype. The steak we were served which was supposed to be well marbleised was overly chewy, under seasoned and most definitely not marbleised. The other plates were good but when you’re paying 400$ for your meal, really you want the the food to be great not just pass as good.

Lobster was tuff / Jumbo shrimp were tuff / lobster mash was cold / my steak was ok but chewy / staff was aggressive / they all seemed confused. The old guy who cuts up the food was very pushy wait staff kept bumping into me and not apologizing.The music was so loud couldn’t even talk with my friend. Not very good for a fancy restaurant. I felt rushed and ripped off when I left. As we were leaving one of the waiters bareled through us with a tray of food as we were trying to walk up the stairs. Not professional at all. Very sloppy. For that kind of money I expect a 5 star treatment but I feel I Barley got a 2 star treatment. So I give it 2 stars for a horiable experience.

My wagyu was a little bit ''watery'' not used to this on dry aged meat! Rest was perfect!
I got their signature steak which was just OK. It seemed a little crusty. The presentation was beautiful but the overall quality was just ok - not mind blowing like it should be especially for the price which was super expensive. Same quality as 40 Westt - sometimes good sometimes amazing. The best steak is still RibNReef IMHO.
