   We went for a bite prior to the Jets game. The service was quick and we got the happy hour tacos special and Coors Banquet along with some guacamole. Service was very quick and everything was extremely tasty.

   Hair in my food. 2 beers that we asked for were not available. Who doesn’t stock Coors and Bud light. Hard to say I’d go back.

    Good food and great atmosphere. Latin music started at 10 by a great DJ. Drinks are pricy $14 for a margarita. Not specialty tequila, just bar stock!

    I love this restaurant. Food is excellent, as are the margarita's on the rocks! We had the best server, although we find all staff there to be very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

    The problem with Mexican cuisine is that if it is not spicy (read...hot!), then it is pretty tasteless and kind of conjures what I would expect dog food to taste like. Then you have the completely subjective mild/medium/hot description -- you know, where one person's eye-watering and whimper-inducing is another person's "Meh!". So, we have La Roca who have made the decision to serve their food somewhere south of mild (in this writer's opinion but just right in my SO's opinion). They do provide a bottle of hot sauce but it was pretty forgettable and I found myself wishing I had brought a bottle of some nice 5-alarm Habanero-based sauce or similar. Other than the lack of fire, La Roca is an excellent restaurant with 5-star ambience and some of the best wait staff we had ever encountered. Just, you know, if you like real Mex, smuggle in a bottle of your fave fire!

    Our nacho’s salsa and Gwak very good. My Mexican corn tasted like it came out of a can. The refried beans fantastic! My crispy shrimp tacos were soggy I only ate one and ate the shrimp out of the other two. One of our meals had to be sent back as it was wrong. And the service while the waitress was very nice she forgot things and at one point when asked for more ice water 10 minutes later one of our party had to walk to the bar and get a glass and about 15 minutes after that the waitress can with water. All in all some of the food was very good. Expensive for what it was. All staff really nice. Live music was very good. Don’t think we would ever go back.

    The food and service was excellent. The coconut pineapple margarita is delicious. Unfortunately, they were sold out of quite a few drinks from the drink menu. My sister ordered three different drinks before she found one they had available. It also was quite loud so it was hard to hear everyone talking at the table.

    We shared the shrimp ceviche (appie) and then had the taco platter for dinner. I had the "skinny" grilled fish tacos - yummy - wrapped in lettuce instead of soft taco. DH had the barbacoa and enjoyed them. Since we went on a Tuesday night, it was 1/2 tequila, so we each tried one that we had never had before. They were both great and this is a good way to try new things before splurging on a bottle. Great service!! I can't eat gluten, so this is a really good place for me to eat - and we love Mexican food.

    Onlyy real issue I had was the lighting. Our table was extremely dark. Had the blackened trout and it was awesome . The Mars bar/bananas dessert was also amazing. Price was appropriate for the serving size. I left feel full.
