Located in Ottawa's Little Italy, we're an Italian, from scratch kitchen, focusing on contemporary Italian cuisine that is rooted in tradition. With a large dining room on the main floor, and three semi-private dining rooms upstairs, we have the space for all your party needs. In the summer, we have a covered rooftop patio available for small private functions, as well as three ground level patios. We are proud to work with local farmers and producers wherever possible.     we just shared the caesar sald and fried zucchini and a glass of wine each. Francie was very friendly. We will go back at some point for some pasta!

    Meals were nice. Tasty and fresh. Service was abysmal. No plates or utensils came without having to wait and then ask for them Server was either a raw rookie or simply indifferent. Loud in the extreme. Likely wouldn’t return. Cheers.

    My meal was good, the only problem was that it was a little lukewarm. For ambient noise, I imagine you know because the dining room is open air.

    Very friendly staff. Kitchen can accommodate almost any request. Everything is fresh, made to order and made in house. This place is legit!

    Great evening. Only issue was noise level. Music was a bit overpowering given the smaller space and not really in keeping with the general vibe of restaurant. Regardless, we had a lovely time. Great food. Attentive service.

    We hadn’t been for decades. In fact the last time was when La Roma was at the corner of Somerset and Bronson. We had a nice date night. Food was very good as was the service. Will be back again.

    Delicious, fresh, romantic, great for those intimate dinners out. My husband and I go every year on our wedding anniversary. It’s the restaurant we went to the night he proposed, and we will continue to go back. Fantastic restaurant! Make sure you try the tarimasu!!

    Music choices for this restaurant is not appropriate for setting and patrons. Most patrons 60 years plus. And chill edm just too loud and not the right fit for ambience. I do like the food and the servers and hosts always great. I would suggest that music choices and volume be adjusted and maybe more people would stay for dessert. Just sayin

    I was so happy to have dined at La Roma last night. It was perfect. I had the fettuccine pescatore, which comes with a lovely rose sauce. The superb food is only outdone by the kind and welcoming staff. Grazie Maria and Rory!!

    Food was delicious. Service was very good. Tuesday nights are a good night if you’re looking for a less crowded dinner. Our biggest issue is that we forgot to purchase some of the take-home items!

    Excellent food with wonderful service and a cute patio for a weeknight dinner. I do feel that for the price of the food, you certainly get sizeable portions and don't leave hungry; however, presentation of food was a little bland, and my food wasn't as hot as I would have hoped for freshly made. From an otherwise amazing meal - that is my only negative. Overall I will absolutely be back again and would recommend La Roma 110%.

    We are Italian food lovers and enjoyed our experience at La Roma. The food and service were excellent. Pastas were pricey at $35 per. Noise level was high and music selection more bistro/bar than Italian so a few points deducted for that.

    The beef ravioli were very delicious!! The 1/2 price wine bottles is a scam. The selection of wine were not available on the regular listings so how can you prove they are 1/2 price? Felt more like False advertising… other restaurants that advertise 1/2 price wine off it directly off their published menu We were very disappointed that no effort was made to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary…. All other restaurants have always offered a small token to commemorate our anniversary/ birth days / special occasions… It still cost us over $125 ( no tip) … We have options to dine fine Italian and do enjoy your chefs talent however I doubt we will recommend your establishment anytime soon.

    The open concept and a couple large families, forced me and my date to the patio in 30 degree weather. It was unfortunate. I don't think that was the restaurant's fault, but it was a really unexpected. The server was very gracious.
