   Although the service was good, the food unfortunately was not. We ordered the mussels, mushroom ravioli, risotto and panacotta for dessert. The mussels were fine but the broth wasn't particularly special. The mushroom ravioli was probably the best although it didn't have a lot of flavor, and the risotto was bland and uninteresting. The panacotta had so much gelatin that it jiggled like jello and the chocolate sauce tasted just like that hot fudge sunday sauce you buy at Safeway. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was great. We had a couple drinks each so the total bill was $150 with tip. I don't think I'd bother with this one again.

   The $60 ribeye steak was a grisly chewy unenjoyable mess. Been coming to La Strada for 20 years, but probably not coming back. They used to have a chicken picada years ago, but they got rid of it. I don't know why? But to send out that horrible piece ribeye to me is insulting. It was an anniversary dinner too. Went away hungry and left behind a plate of gristle that was equal to at least have the portion provided. Not impressed at all. There are better choices than this place with much better value.

   We went for our anniversary and they made it special…awesome shoutout to Christopher for his Italian operatic happy anniversary song to us. Lovely. Server may have been newer…she wasn’t awful but slower than expected. $18 for TWO zucchini flower blossom was highway robbery. Charred octopus dish was good. My risotto with pan seared scallops was underwhelming. Fortunately I had a Gift card and didn’t have to pay cash for the whole meal

    We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Was a little noisy, but they did move us to another table . Great waiter. They sang to us in Italian. We had a free anniversary dessert. We would recommend for people to try. We will go back. Thank You

    A very special place to dine when you want to treat the people you love. Mothers Day was it. From beginning to dessert the moms, we had a great dining experience. By the way, I had the veal chop.

    My wife and I was asked what the occasion was for when we made reservations. We told them 24th wedding anniversary. When we checked in they hostess sat us next to the open kitchen where it was loud. Clanging dishes and lots of laughing from the kitchen workers. Loud enough to cover the music. We asked to be moved and the hostess gave the impression of you got to be kidding! We got moved and our waiter was good and food was great. The hostess needs to smile and appear to enjoy her job.

    LaStrada is always a wonderful experience. The staff there is so nice, they make you feel like you’re in your neighborhood resturant. And the food…. It is simply the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The mushroom ravioli is a must try. The Gnocci is unbelievable, the smoky aroma hits you right before it gets to the table! And the Tiramisu is so creamy, it’s a great way to end the fabulous meal. We love to eat there and go anytime we have the chance.

    La Strada never disappoints! The mushroom ravioli is a must, the artichoke appetizer was fantastic, and the prosciutto with the cheese bread was amazing! We had the salmon that was wrapped with vegetables and the chicken cooked under the brick. The flavors were fantastic! Everything was delicious and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommend!

    We come to La Strada a lot. This time was not as good as others since first they sat us right next to the kitchen which was noisy and a lot of traffic. My dinner, Uncle Willie's ravioli was not as good this time as it had less sauce than normal and the raviolis seemed tough. We will still return when it makes sense and chalk this experience off to an aberration.

    If you are a lover of authentic Italian food look no further. Our waiter has been working here for 32 years and his open sociable, friendly demeanor made our meal experience excellent. In addition to our perfectly prepared orders, he kept bringing out small samples of other dishes just because he knew we would enjoy them and he enjoyed letting us taste several items for free. It was two foodies being served by another foodie, and we all just enjoyed talking about different foods how they were prepared foods we’ve had on our travels around the world, etc. The wine list was excellent and as most of you know, the right bottle just makes a meal the Italian wine I selected to go with our steaks was so good and we praised it to our server. He recommended it to a new couple that came in that he was friends with and they all opened it and enjoyed it and we started conversing with that table and just had a very friendly experience with everyone. I highly recommend this place.

    Though most of the restaurants in the Eldorado Resort Casino are $$$-$$$$…La Strada is exceptional in every way and worth the cost of dining there. The service, the ambiance and the cuisine are all top notch. Would definitely dine here again.

    We started with an appetizer of the Calamari which was completely substandard. It almost tasted if it could have come out of a frozen dinner. Fortunately, the salad was excellent and the pasta & ravioli were quite good. Prices are on par with the dishes. Service and ambiance were very good.

    Food was terrible. Veal piccata was served cold in a cream sauce and capers. Never had piccata served this way. The veal was tough and very skimpy 2 pieces. Asparagus was cold . Shaved hard cheese was never offered,this is an Italian restaurant.Salad was spring mix and 2 grape tomatoes and Gorgonzola cheese. I was thinking I would get fresh lettuces.

    Everything about our dinner was amazing! Our server Kailey (?) not sure if that was her name but it started with a K, was super attentive and had great recommendations. We ordered quite a few appetizers and the fried artichokes were INCREDIBLE!! Hector was bussing our table and was super friendly.
