   The food was fantastic. Chicken Parm, shrimp and scallop risotto. Only complain was that the meal took almost two hours for three people. Too long considering we were 3 of 6 people in the restaurant.

   The restaurant was very quiet making for a very enjoyable meal catching up years with dear friends. Food was excellent (world class as one in our company noted)! Service was very good, staff pleasant and engaging and we never felt rushed.

   Read the reviews and decided to go here for our 10th Anniversary.. We won’t be back. Right from the start, there weren’t enough menus for our six person table though the restaurant was almost empty. Our main waitress was very disconnected and un attentive. Food was mediocre. Very disappointing.

   Meal presentation, quantity and taste were excellent. Good value. Everything made in-house. Little surprises such as the maple butter were wonderful. The server Anna was very attentive.

   Eat here almost exactly a year ago and was much better then. I had the Chicken Parmesan which was very salty. Wife had shrimp and scallops risotto which was very bland. Didn't get our wine until halfway through our meal even though we let the waitress know we were going to have it with our meal. Would have definitely recommended this restaurant last year, but not so this time.

    Average restaurant. Food orders were very slow. Pasta was undercooked. Lobster bisque was excellent. Quite dark and noise from the bar area. Nice to try but would not go back. Pricey.

    We celebrated our 20th anniversary here . Such a beautiful hotel to be be in . Our meal was absolutely delicious, and worth more than the bill was . Thank you for a wonderful dinner .

    Worst food I've ever had. Very poor quality. I had the gnocchi and my boyfriend had the chicken parm. Gnocchi was crunchy! Chicken parm was somewhat edible so we both nibled on it. Personally i could make a better caprese salad. But server was nice and didn't include the gnocchi in my receipt. Butter tasted like cardboard, not even sure how they achieved this.

    Lovely restaurant, nice fireplace, friendly staff that cannot even pronunce the Italian food items. The lobster bisque was tasty but very watery, my risotto was ok, my sons steak was good but my husbands spaghetti that came with the chicken parmigiana was absolutely not edible, worst spaghetti ever. So if you are wondering if this is a real authentic Italian restaurant,, it’s comparable to East Side Mario’s.

    Went here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday yesterday, the ambience was great and the food was ok except for the steak. We both asked for medium rare and they turned out to be medium well, my bison was almost well done. The service and the dessert made the night much better. Shout out to Sanda and chef’s creation of basil cheesecake!

    I had the lobster risotto, caprese salad and creme brulet and all were exquisite. Drinks were pricy and glassed in area was very drafty but overall a great experience.

    Food was not great spoiled grapes, and very plain charcuterie board, fall apart crustini's no jellys, special dips, no added special touches like nuts or special breads. Chicken parmesan was over cooked to point of almost being burnt and cheese on top was a solid chunk.

    So disappointed in this restaurant. It started with a very unfriendly server that lasted the entire time. The table cloth was dirty at our table as well there was a huge white stain on the carpet it just looked awful. Our server took us about 10 mins to bring us our drinks and we were the only 2 people in the restaurant! Then our food came, we ordered the lobster risotto and chicken parm and it was extremely bland, cold, and just tasteless. Neither my husband or I finished our food and ultimately felt dissatisfied. We ended up leaving there and going to the irish pub because we were still hungry! Ugh extremely disappointing and it was costly.

    The restaurant was connected to the hotel bar which was very loud. The food was subpar and the whole experience was very lackluster. There are much better places to be in Banff. The service was good, but that didn’t quite make up for everything else.

    This restaurant has a great ambiance but the food was terrible. I ordered the chicken parmesan and could barely cut it with a knife it was so tough and over cooked. My husband forfeited the lobster risotto and the lobster was over cooked and hard. This place is definitely not worth the money.

    We sat down for dinner (Friday evening in mid August), during a very quiet time. The service was okay, not great, but nothing to write home to Mom about. We ate the very nice meal, yet it seemed not very ambient. I think maybe music may have helped. Unfortunately our meal was again not note worthy. Perhaps we came at a bad time. Lovely setting.

    A fabulous culinary experience backed up with friendly, professional service. All items ordered were beyond expectations with the lobster bisque, insulate caprese and Rossellini being particularly of note. The chef’s chocolate cake with caramel ended a perfect evening! Our server, Natalie, was attentive and knowledgeable.
