Ladurée is a world-renowned French luxury patisserie, founded in Paris in 1862. The acclaimed house rose into fame with their exquisite selection of viennoiseries and pastries – most notably, however, for their creation of the macaron.

Described as a biscuit with a delicate and crisp shell with a smooth ganache or jam filling, they come in a variety of classical and creative flavours. Ladurée’s macarons are often not mixed with more than two or three flavours to give each macaron a more pronounced taste.

Accompanying the Boutique, their traditional Parisian tea room offers irresistible culinary delights in a setting inspired by historic France, allowing Ladurée to extend their unique experience of the French art of living.

    Laudree has macarons, obviously, but other cakes and dessert options for a sweet experience. We ordered lunch there as well, from the a la carte menu, and it was tasty. We had the smoked salmon avo toast on brioche, ham & cheese croissant and the croque monsieur. Everything tasted good; the croque monsieur was super petite and the croissant was a huge one filled with a solid amount of ham. Service was fantastic. Slow paced and relaxed, just like in France. It was not busy on a Monday at noon. I expect a weekend to be a busy time considering the dining space is small. The macarons were lovely and we took multiple sets home to give as gifts. We will return next time we visit Vancouver.

    Had an amazing time trying new type of foods. The avocado toast was so fulfilling and the chocolate cake was just pure love. All the servers were very helpful.

    Went there for light lunch and the food was mediocre at best. Service was very slow though very courteous. I do not recommend having lunch there. Their macarons are great but lunch fare not at all. Stick to the deserts, they’re awesome.

    Had such an amazing experience here for my sisters 40th birthday. Staff were very attentive even treated us to champagne and gifted her a small box of macarons for her. Great service and they really want above and beyond to make her feel special. Thank you!!

    I appreciate that afternoon tea at Laduree is unique. It differs from your traditional ones where they serve scones. We like that they have croissants and french pastries. My family and I love their hot chocolate. Definitely worth it.

    I went for afternoon tea and it was very nice. I enjoyed it immensely. When I was ready to leave, they called a taxi for me and stayed with me until it came.

    We had a lovely time at Ladurée last week. We booked a tea time and thoroughly enjoyed the macarons, tea etc…The environment was relaxing and quiet too. The hot chocolate was a highlight for sure.

    The omelette was like a heated up aeroplane omelette with dry pieces of ham. The croque monsieur seemed as if it was prepared beforehand and heated in a toaster oven. It was not a regular croque monsieur. Coffee was good and the music was turned down immediately we asked and was beautiful. The waitress was excellent and we love the ambiance.

    Laduree is absolutely amazing! After my meeting ran 20 minutes over, they were still able to accommodate me in their restaurant. It was lovely, there was no one there, to which I was very surprised! The lunch was lovely, and the dessert and macarons were to DIE FOR. I always enjoy my yearly visit to Laduree, and this was one much the same.

    Small space for a couple of tables, cute decor, great for a girl's outing! They were out of croissants at the time we went (3:30pm), and opted for Walnut croissant but I wasn't really a fan of it. Ispahan was my favorite of all the things we ordered. We also ordered Rose Raspberry Saint Honore but there's a bit too much cream for my liking. Passionfruit macaron was also yummy (passionfruit makes it less sweet).

    Laduree tea room was lovely and calm…felt like I was in Paris. Their macarons are wonderful, as were the desserts we got to choose. The desserts, however were huge, and not terribly suited to delicate afternoon tea bites. Service left a lot to be desired. We had to ask for extra hot water, napkins (the lovely ones they have are too small), and for our desserts. There was also confusion when it came time to pay the bill and they didn’t seem to know that I had paid a deposit. I don’t think I would come for afternoon tea again, but would for one of their other menus items…their French toast looked fabulous, and a dessert.

    It was my daughters’ birthday and also my sister from the US was visiting. We each got to choose our macarons (2 each), our dessert and our sandwich including a salmon option! EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS from the fruit cup to the dessert. I even enjoyed the tea I chose! My guests loved it as well. It was a great experience. Can’t wait to return. The service was great as well.

    The food was delicious and the Ispahan did not disappoint. The service started out well but it was hard to get the attention of our server after our food was served, so we had to repeatedly flag someone down each time for more hot water, our bill, etc.

    We came for afternoon tea. We made reservations and the service was attentive. We enjoyed choosing parts of our afternoon tea. Everything was very tasty. The one thing we would change is the music. It was not pleasant and we should have asked them to change it but instead we tolerated it. I guess we were expecting something French? I will go back and order off the menu next time.

    Great afternoon high tea experience. Fresh and tasty nibbles, and good quality tea/good selection. Attentive service, except they forgot to serve our cake and had to be reminded! You get to choose the macaron and individual cake type/flavour, which is awesome. We asked for milk for the tea on the side, and it came heated - nice touch.

    Service staff needed training as plates was not served for the high tea, needed to ask for them. Waited a while for food to be served. Food was way below expectation. For the price charged on the high tea, can definitely get a better deal elsewhere. Patronize when Only if you have spare cash to spend and lots of free time to waste.

    Most of the items provided during high-tea were sub-par in flavour and we’re very similar. For a similar price you’d get much more out of one of the local high-end hotel restaurants.

    This is in fact a beautiful place with a fantastic macarons and amazing cakes. However, I think they need to work on their afternoon tea service. Typically afternoon tea is sold as a set experience. Ladureé is on the high end of typical pricing for afternoon tea yet they don’t offer the same quality of service that places with the same cost do. The server did not know what the served treats were when asked, it really didn’t feel like a set service. The table quickly became cluttered as a result of the way they serve particular items. As an example, myself and my partner ordered lattes in addition to our afternoon tea. What should have been 2 lattes was actually 2 coffee cups, 2 pitchers for steamed milk and 2 pitchers with espresso. We’re lucky we were served at a 4 person table. This might sound silly but seriously I wish I had taken a photo our table, it was comical amongst everything. I think they have something really good going, the decor is amazing, the cakes are amazing, the treats are amazing. The execution of service and pacing could be improved considering the cost.

    Made reservations for afternoon tea at 2pm. Made the reservations well in advance. Well known for their beautiful interior decor. Atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. The teas are great, macarons were delicious. Many people walked in to take-out during our stay. The savoury tartlets were cute in appearance but had very odd flavour profiles - would not recommend. Their smoked salmon croissant and hazelnut cake was very tasty as well. Everything else was mediocre and not really worth the price. Service could use some work. Not sure if the gentleman helping us was new but he was very quiet and difficult to communicate with. I know the face masks don’t help but we were the only table there at the time and we had a hard time hearing him speak. Had to flag him down a couple of times. Not very attentive it ruined our experience. Would seek afternoon tea elsewhere.

    The DOVF menu is exactly the same as last year, so we expected the same quality of food. Yet the service was not good as the food and drinks were served very quickly as if we were in a fast food place. The worst is they gave us two pots of coffee and milk and we had to pour them into our cups. That means there’s no latte art for our coffees and this is very disappointing.

    There were many miscommunication. We got 1 set instead of 2, they got our macarons wrong, we ordered a croque monsieur and were given a ham and cheese croissant instead. I understand these things happen, but the amount of miscommunication in 1 hour was astounding
