First, they canceled my reservation so our table for six was not ready and she wanted to put us upstairs and I said no, I'm in a wheelchair and I specifically asked for a main floor table then they told us we couldn't share our food and did not over the less expensive choice until my daughter asked if we could order the other choice. I asked if I should put my chair at the end of the table and they said no the side is fine and they kept hanging into my chair and there was no parking. I would not recommend this place and I'm not too sure about using open table, since somehow my reservation was canceled.

My daughter and I thought we could have had better communication from the staff explaining how the experiences worked. We were not given enough explanation how to order, if we could substitute (we both don’t eat red meat) the differences between all the experiences, as this was our first time After we had ordered we over heard another table getting a better explanation than us. Also, the service was not as good as we expected. We realize they were busy but still not completely satisfied One last thing, the greeter should (we feel) had nicer attire, not lulu leggings and a crop top; seemed inappropriate for the crowds. Otherwise we enjoyed our time together for our Mothers Day celebration.

I have been here twice and still can’t wait to come back. Had the best Mother’s Day brunch here. Everything from the decor, staff and food is so lovely. The best experience!

Decoration is lovely for a tea house, our server was very sweet with our kids. Value for the quality and ambiance is about what I would expect when comparing to higher end teas like the Fairmont. The areas needing improvement are the timeliness of the reservations. If there is a set seating period to ensure flow of reservations that might help with wait times for other reservations. The other area is some of the breads and treats. The texture of the macaron was off- no crisp outer layer with a chewy interior and creamy filling. It was very soft throughout. 2 of the breads were very dry and firm. We did provide that feedback to our server who spoke to the kitchen. There was nothing done about it. Would I come back? I might explore some of our cities other offerings before I give this tea house another try.

I think this restaurant has great potential. It is a relatively new restaurant so I understand that they may be getting glitches out. The menu needs to be explained better by the servers. When you get to the table, there’s a menu on the front and also inside. Online there’s an à la carte menu which we wanted to order from. We were told that it would be more difficult to order from the à la carte menu but we were able to. We ordered the Countess tea experience. The sandwich was supposed to come on a croissant, it did not. There was also supposed to be a selection of preserves and clotted cream, which there was not. I ordered clotted cream to go on my scone. I was charged for it. I didn’t realize this until after and as it was quite busy at the front counter, so I didn’t say anything. My granddaughter had the teddy tea experience and it was lovely. Our friends had the garden experience and overall I would say it was just ok. The roast beef finger sandwich came on bread that was far too thick to eat delicately. The decor and ambiance of this restaurant is cute and lovely. I would 10/10 visit again for tea and a sweet but am not sure about the tea experience….. I have been to a restaurant like this in Fort Langley, BC. The food there was 10/10 and the experience excellent! I truly hope Lady Bea’s steps up the menu to match the pricing as there is great potential here

The main room, Pemberton was very noisey for a Wednesday mid day, so suggest an upper room or Beatrice room for more intimate tea sessions. Overall the food, ambiance, sevice, and teas were good. Would recommend and go again!
