Yeah ambience was very nice. A little noisy. So it was just OK and over priced. The service was good though
My experience at Lago was wonderful. I received great service and the food was beyond expectations. I will be back
This is my 3rd time here and it is always good so. I had the surf and turf risotto which was not a small plate at all. My only suggestion would be a less pricey option for charcuterie, we ordered it and it was very good with a lot of different wonderful dipping options but it's the price of an entrée.
Loved the food, the view and service too! Great experience 🥰
Very satisfied and happy with my choice of Lago 210. I live in Lake View but the other three people are from Kenmore/Tonawanda and were so pleased with my choice and most importantly their delicious meals. The view was fantastic…sunny clear day.
Great experience and we will definitely return next season.
The view cannot be beat, even on a colder stormy day the atmosphere was wonderful, the service friendly and the food outstanding! A perfect date night out!
Food was excellent!! I’d definitely go back! Wish they were open in the winter!
Beautiful view of Lake Erie...delicious food...friendly staff!
Everything was delicious! Only disappointment was that the weather was not conducive to enjoy the fireside dining experience.
We’ve had brunch and dinner at Lago 210 and we cannot wait for spring! Everything was creative and delicious. Staff was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. We cannot stop raving about this place.
Our server was amazing! He was very professional and knowledgeable
Our waitress was so kind and the food and drinks were outstanding. We shared the scallops with pumpkin and bacon…. Just WOW. They were incredible!!!
Great service and food, limited menu but all selections were appealing. Portions were great and dessert was decadent!
Outside dining is decent, if you sit at a table with a water view. Food was OK but with many restaurant choices in Buffalo, I would honestly say no need to return.
First of all they did not have any tonic - so a gin and tonic was out of the question. There were dozens of bees flying around, service was mediocre. We will not be returning.
Highly recommended! Lago has it all, great food, great service, and amazing views. The food is phenomenal, and always prepared perfectly. Great for those who have celiac disease who have to eat gluten free, so much to choose from and they 100% understand the importance of cross contamination. The only bad thing is, they close for the winter season.
Great location and great food! We enjoyed our entire evening!
Nice little place on the lake. Needs some work or comfort measures outside. Food was excellent with great flavors. We had the halibut special that was perfect and the scallop special of the day too. I got 3 scallops on a small amount of puréed potato. I was still hungry. It just needed more on the plate for the price. Next time will just order more casual food that also looked good and suits the ambience of the restaurant.
Everything was amazing; from the view, to the food, to the service. We sat outside to dine by the fire pits for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint!
The menu had a fantastic variety and options for everyone. We had a special for an app that was generously sized and delicious, fish tacos and sliders. Everything was prepared well and enjoyable. Wine list is great as are the cocktail selections. Our server, Grace, was phenomenal. Friendly, just the right amount of service and paced everything well. First time here, and won't be the last. The beautiful sunset was an extra added bonus!
Didn’t expect the dishes to be as large as they were. Made for a delightful surprise. There was so much food left over so we packed it up and gave to an elderly neighbor. She loved it! Wines are delicious as well as the Sangria! The view is beautiful. The desserts are very rich. Could have split one. If you haven’t been, you should go.
We had a lovely night and dinner was delish! Wonderful spot on the waterfront watching the sunset. Our server was so sweet snd very accomodating. ❤️
This is a unique beachfront restaurant, with the firepits and ample outdoor dining space. The only disappointment was the marrow app I ordered. There was very little marrow in the bone. Hardy any. The rest of the meal was very good.
The food wasn’t the greatest. I had the stuffed peppers and there was a hair in it. I didn’t complain but I had to leave a review. I would only recommend for the view and drinks not food.
Our server was excellent…knowledgeable and very accommodating. The food and drinks were great as well. Wish they weren’t closing for the season. 😔
Good food but every dish arrived cold! We sat outside with a stunning view but a solo guitarist/singer was way too loud! Would not rush back!
We love food and this place is perfect! Presentation is awesome and my bf said it was the best chicken and waffles he ever had… and it was gluten free!
Our reservation was for the firepit dining which is on a sandy area off to the side of the restaurant overlooking the lake. The views were wonderful and the firepit kept us toasty. The food was absolutely wonderful as was the service. I would definitely recommend this experience.
This place is an absolute godsent for Gluten Intolerant people. It is just too good to be true. You wouldn't even know this was a celiac friendly restaurant unless you did your research. It stands alone as being an amazing establishment regardless of diet, from food to ambiance to selection to view. My husband who is not gluten sensitive absolutely gushed over every single course, and stated that the truffle risotto was the best he has ever had (as an Italian, who lived in Italy for 5 years.. this is HIGH PRAISE.) Thank you for taking the time to prepare food in this special, inclusive, and thoughtful way. This experience was absolutely precious for us and we cannot wait to come back.
It was our third time there and we brought our friends with us ... We loved it ! Food was great, view was awesome and Amanda, our server, was exceptional !!!
Liked the sliders and shrimp and grits.
Best Bloody Mary's!! Food was excellent with plenty of food to share. The view of the lake is amazing!!
Amazing as always!
The food was inventive and very good. Will go back
Only drawback was the size of the table for fire pit dining, needs to be a bit bigger, food was excellent and server was polite and attentive, I would recommend this restaurant to my associates.
Overall the best thing about Lago 210 is the atmosphere, beach views and live music if it happens to be playing when you're there. Liked the food as well.
Upon arrival it was cool that we could choose between the beach seating, outside fire pit seating and indoor restaurant seating but were disappointed when after sitting indoors realized there was no air-conditioning whatsoever. That was kind of the whole point!
The staff seemed very new to service in general. The dining room was at probably 20% capacity so not too busy. Our shared app was forgotten and brought out after a reminder with our entrees (Not terrible but not ideal). We had to keep watch over our plates after a while as the servers attempted to clear them constantly during any lull in our conversation. One gentleman (not sure if he was a manager or server assistant) asked us "How's everything" at least 12 times without exaggeration to the point where we felt a little annoyed and overwhelmed. My beer was just as great on the 8th sip as it was on the 1st sip 4 minutes prior dude..
The food was pretty good but nothing special. The menu is primarily fun, small, tapas plates combining casual pub fare with mediterranean influences. The seafood selection was also nice and in tune with the character of the atmosphere...I had the Cajun Gnocchi and my partner has the Surf and Turf Risotto. Tasty but nothing about it stood out or seemed very inventive. Typical and safe Buffalo, NY restaurant menu overall which is not bad but certainly won't entice the adventurous.
We'll definitely come back but maybe just for the views and a cocktail on a breezy day.
We decided to go here based on review in Buffalo Spree magazine. While our food was OK, the temperature in the dining room was oppressive and a fly kept visiting our table. It would be wise to invest in some ceiling fans to help when the outside temperature is high. We also were disappointed with plastic wine glasses. This was a long drive for us and we see no reason to return.
This was my anniversary dinner. The view was amazing from out table. The food was out of this world. The drinks were not the greatest my husbands soco on the rocks was completely watered down. The jalopeno margaritas didn’t really taste like jalopeno. We were given water in the beginning of our meal but it was luke warm no ice and there were dead bugs floating in the water. The tables outside are too small for drinks, two dinner plates and an appetizer you need bigger tables for outside dining. Also the fire pit is brought over to your table but we were never asked if we wanted it lit and it was kind of left up to us to figure out how to light it or the manager had to come out and do it. Great restaurant, amazing view definitely needs some minor tweaks to get it to where it should be.
We totally enjoyed our dining experience at Lago. It was a nice way to celebrate our anniversary. We had a table facing the lake with a nice view. The windows were open and we had a great breeze which definitely cut the heat from outside. Our server Jenna greeted us promptly. She was welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable of all menu item choices. We started with a Caesar salad which was large enough to split among the two of us. The salad was very tasty with the perfect Caesar dressing and gluten free croutons which were a treat for me. We also chose the All the dips as an appetizer to share. The bruschetta, and banana pepper dip were awesome and the naan bread made the dips even more enjoyable. Our dinner choice was the Surf and Turf Risotto which was excellent and we shared an order of roasted vegetables. Jenna was always there for anything we needed always with a smile and excellent service. So thankful for all the gluten free options. Thank you Lago for a worry-free dining experience!!! We will be back!!!
Ate the surf and turf. Steak was over cooked, did not cook medium rare. Should have more lighting for sitting outside. Could barely see my food and should have citronella candles as well.
