   Very tasty food, served piping hot and in plentiful amounts but not excessive. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Sometimes if they are busy you will have to wait a bit longer for your food but that’s understandable and it’s worth waiting for. In lovely setting. Highly recommended.

   not a particularly busy service and the conservatory dining room didn’t provide a particularly warm environment or atmosphere… the girls were polite and friendly but the chef was mr miserable.. tried to engage in some kind of conversation with him but it was not working… the meat from the carvery was very good but the dinner plates were far too small and the food ended up piled upon layers.. not the most appetising way to have your sunday roast..also the peas had dried out the gravy was almost cold but the rest of the food was good. the other 2 in our group enjoyed their meal more .. . as we had finished and wasn’t offered any more drinks or invited to use the bars i paid our bill and left a little disappointed. i would like to try it again as maybe it was just a bit late in the service. .2.30 booking and maybe book an earlier time.

   Great food in a lovely venue - very relaxed. Attentive and friendly staff. Limited menu but something for everyone. Sirloin steak meal was huge but superbly cooked. Adjacent bar area was extremely relaxing with staff who engaged with you. Lovely.

   We ate here for consecutive three nights in May 2023 and enjoyed every meal. Freshly cooked, interesting flavours and great staff. Very dog friendly. We would recommend the restaurant.

   We very much enjoyed our meal. Good size portions and great tasting. Staff so friendly and very helpful. We definitely recommend a visit and will be going back. Surroundings beautiful too

   Stayed 1 night at Lakeview Manor and had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. The king prawn starter and prawn pasta were delicious. The ladies who served us were both friendly and entertained us. The background music was just right - very much our style. Lakeview Manor and the restaurant are set in beautiful grounds- a real find.

    We came for Easter Lunch. Good window table overlooking gardens. Husband had Roast Turkey from the Carvery, veggies were a good mix. I had Roast Lamb which was disappointing overcooked and very tough ( not an easy meat to roast) better not to offer it if it can’t be cooked well. Gravy not good ( had some random bits in it and was not very tasty, The plates were too small the Yorkshire puddings were enormous and very nice but covered half of the plate with the effect of the plate being overloaded and not enough room for the veggies. Dessert was nice. The young people Hosting and serving were very professional and polite. Lovely smiles and very neat, friendly and helpful! We will be back!

    The staff were excellent, friendly to our party and our dog. Dining is informal and relaxed with numbers in the restaurant kept low to match the capacity of the kitchen.

    A very relaxing restaurant/ bar. My friends and I chose different dishes, from buttermilk chicken burgers to pie of the day and a fish dish, no complaints about any of the food we had, outstanding. Service was excellent all friendly ladies. we were looked after very well. So much so my friends and I will revisit. Thank you so much for are lovely stay.

    We booked a table for dinner during our stay at Lakeview Manor, and we were not disappointed! Lovely staff and very accommodating for our dog that joined us 😊 Service was quick but we didn't feel rushed, the restaurant was quiet with only two other tables in, but it was a nice atmosphere. Overall a really enjoyable evening and we will certainly be back next time we visit the area!

    Our first visit and it was lovely. Beautiful setting. Food was lovely and we would definitely return. Staff were so polite and kind. We had a carvery which was delicious and mango and coconut cheesecake which was delicious-the chef/owner I'm not sure, was explaining the ingredients to us. It was a really lovely lunch.
