   Tasty food in a pretty environment. The portions were pretty small, which is totally fine except I would have liked if there were more clearly delineated appetizers to compliment. Overall pleasant dinner but I wasn't blown away

   As usual everything was excellent. My only disappointment is the fact they have quit offering the chefs tasting menu with the wine pairing. Service was excellent (thank you Brandon) Food and presentation was perfect.

    Phenomenal experience. We let our very knowledgable server select our meal for us and we were beyond impressed with every dish. We shared multiple items so we could taste as much as possible from this great menu. Cocktails were also great. Can't wait to go back!

    My fiancé and I go to lapinou often. Sometimes for dinner and other times for drinks. He likes the cocktails but I’m not a fan. I find them to be very syrupy. I also find that in the winter the restaurant is freezing especially if they seat you closer to the door. I wore a long sleeve and I had to have my parka on because of how cold I was. In the summer they blast the AC so it’s not any better. I associate lapinou with always being cold and for me personally it’s not a good experience. So if you’re a female and you tend to get cold easily be weary and bring a long sleeve an extra sweater or be prepared to wear your jacket all night. Otherwise the service is fantastic and the food is good.

    Perfect day to hide away from the winter rain! Great ambiance, food up to the usual excellent standards the service was awesome, from cocktails at the bar to wine recommendations and food choices including an amazing full roast duck for us to share.

    This was a really nice place for a casual business meal. Our server was Kenny and he took great care of us with excellent recommendations. The food was fabulous. Muscovy duck and 45 day aged rob steak were both brilliant and paired with the mushroom dish and fingerling potatoes for a wonderful meal.

    After two hours of sitting down in the middle of our meal we were asked to leave. The restaurant manager would not leave our side until we paid and left. We were literally forced out before we could finish our meal. I’ve never had a worse dining experience. Our tab was $2000 for 5 people. I’m surprised that the restaurant wouldn’t have allowed us to enjoy our meal. I would never go back and I strongly recommend you avoid this place.

    This has quickly jumped to being one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Went there for an anniversary dinner with my significant other - and we had an extraordinary time. Five things stood that were miles ahead of anything we’ve had: The cocktail to start: we ordered the toji which has an extra brut champagne finish. It was a fantastic way to kickstart the meal The foie gras which was arguably one of the tastiest appetizers we’ve ever had, and definitely the best foie gras. They make it so different Cote de beouf was the special for the evening. It was so tender and delicious, with an array of flavors. It was so filling and hit the spot The service: Jarrett was an outstanding server. Making wonderful recommendations throughout - the cote de beouf and the st emillion wine. He also surprised us with a delicious panna cotta to wrap up the night. Jarrett is a star The ambience, the people and the music. This place is arguably one of the best restaurants in Toronto.

    I waited too long to book and did not experience the truffle tasting menu as I had hoped but they graciously contacted me to explain a new tasting menu had begun. They took great care to double check which menu items were gluten free for my husband. Every dish was delicious!

    The atmosphere, food and drinks are outstanding. I would highly recommend trying out everything on the menu as the food is fantastic. We tried the Oysters, Hirasama, shared the beef for 2. The bartenders create unique drinks. We especially recommend Le Solstice and Cafe Jalisco. Kenny our server was so knowledgeable and attentive. He knew the perfect order to bring out our appetizers to elevate the flavour. He recommended the drinks and was very personable. I won't be able to eat anywhere else. I can't wait to try the seafood tasting menu coming soon.

    I love Lapinou. The food is incredible - the flavours are delicate but complex and the way the servers talk about the food is exciting. The cocktails are really great. The ambience and atmosphere is intimate but open - perfect for dates, birthdays or catch ups. The thing to keep in mind when ordering is that the serving sizes are on the smaller side. Would highly recommend!
