    We always have a great time at Lapinou! Fantastic French wine, and great shareables. We were a group of 4 and we shared the caesar salad, brussel sprouts, short rib wellington and frites. Everything was delicious, and especially the brussel sprouts! Our server was great, and we loved the intimate atmosphere.

    Lapinou was a great success. We had a group of 6 that shared each course with recommendations from our server. Everything was spectacular with the exception of the table location which was near the front door on a very cold November day. The ambiance is great, beautiful decor and the music was perfect, we could hear each other but still enjoy the great vibe the music set. Personal food favourites were the shrimp, the Cote du Boeuf and Beef Wellington Short Ribs with the surprising taste sensation of the Lamb Shawarma. And yes it was a lot of red meat but that was the mood the table was in given the weather. Highly recommend.

    great service, i sat at the bar and ordered brussel sprouts, squash croquettes and waygu sliders. We were in a bit of a rush so we finished our 2 dishes before the sliders came and asked our server if he could cancel them for us. He was extremely nice about it and apologized for the wait, still gave us the sliders and didn't make us pay for them. I appreciate the attentiveness. Will definitely be back.

    Had a great time visiting g Lapinou for the first time last night. We tried like half the menu and it was all delicious. DJ Craig kept the vibes of our group high all night! We almost didn’t want to hit the club after because we had such a great time. 10/10 recommend

    Eggs au poivre were delicious, the sauce is amazing and sourdough too. and the fruit side is well portioned. Had a glass of mimosa and a latte as well and everything was in the perfect temperature and very tasty. Specially the latte, Im not a fan of piping hot coffee so it was just perfect as I could drink it right away. Staff was really nice too! :)

    I had a reservation for two at 8:45, but arrived 10 minutes early. This wasn't an issue as we were promptly seated and given the menus. We had to wait 15-20 minutes to have the server return so we could make a drink order, then another 20+ minutes to get our drinks. At that point we were ready to order. And we did, with help of our server. Our sharable dishes came out quickly, and tasted great, but we just lost track of time as we waited for our main. During this time we didn't get any communication from the server, assuming they were managing multiple tables. I would have liked to come to this restaurant in 2021, since I can imagine they had a great front of the house operation to warrant an inclusion on the Michelin guide in 2022. That was not the case last night. It was incredibly disappointing to wait for so long for our food and then for the bill. The cost vs. value and hospitality of the dinning experience are completely misaligned. I expected so much more.

    Beautiful restaurant with outstanding food. Great experience. Our server Jerrett was the epitome if the perfect server! Helpful, friendly and guided us to make the right decisions with wine and cocktails as well. We loved it!!

    Birthday celebrations and the food was only ok - way too expensive the quality. We were a party of 8 and had a range of dishes - all commented on their mediocrity. The wine list was obnoxious - silly prices.

    The family was here for a brunch together. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite fine, and I love the background music, too. Yet the food is … so plain and no match to a Michelin restaurant quality. We may come back for a dinner try-out, but not a brunch any more.

    Food was tasty, however chef was not willing to accommodate cooking burgers to rare or medium. Never had that happen at an establishment that serves burgers. Good atmosphere and service, hope chef can be more accommodating in future.

    We tried the Octopus, Tuna, Zucchini blossoms, Duck and the Burger - all were exceptional! Our server went above and beyond, even giving us some eggs for a future leftover breakfast. Would 100% recommend!

    Our waiter Tuna was very attentive and friendly - we had a nice table by the bar. The Little gems salad was outstanding- steak tartare was good but not my favorite compared to other restaurants. Quite pricey but overall we enjoyed our evening.

    Overall experience was very nice, we celebrated our anniversary and were impressed with the service and quality of food. The prices i’d say are bit too high for the portion size. In general, i’d recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

    The food is very tasty. But the size of the entrées’ portions are derisive! My son had the wagyu w/ frites, and he received 5 (five) cubes of beef. My daughter had the pumpkin rice, and was only a plate w/ a small layer of rice. They both came back home and had to eat. Very sad! It was my birthday and they offered a tasteful small banana caramel pie. The service was friendly, but took 1 (one) hour for our entrées arrival after our appetizers. Unfortunately, we’re not going back!

    Loved Ryan our server! Very kind and informative. I was disappointed we did mention it was an engagement celebration and they kept alluding that there would be something special or at least that’s what I thought but nothing. I thought maybe something on a dessert plate etc. Ordered the tomahawk and it was good but for the price I was disappointed some pieces were just fullllllll fat not marbled so lost a few ozs to that. Overall beautiful evening.

    I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to provide feedback on my recent dining experience at your restaurant. I have dined at your establishment on two previous occasions and have always been impressed with the quality of the food. However, I regret to say that my most recent visit did not meet my expectations, especially in a couple of areas. Quality of Dishes: On my previous visits, I had the pleasure of enjoying the outstanding quality of your dishes. Unfortunately, during this visit, I noticed that the overall quality of the food did not match my prior experiences. Disappointing French Fries: One of my favourite items on your menu has always been French fries. However, on this occasion, I was quite disappointed with them. The first serving of fries arrived soggy, so I requested a replacement. Sadly, the second serving was still not up to par. The fries were not only overly dry but also excessively salty. Perhaps my expectations for French fries were too high, but I was initially blown away by the quality of Lapinou's fries. This time, they did not live up to my previous experiences, leaving me somewhat disappointed. Overly Salty Duck Dish: Another letdown during this visit was the duck dish, which your restaurant is known for. The seasoning was overly salty, to the point where it overshadowed the other flavours. While a certain level of seasoning is expected when pairing a dish with rice or bread, this level of saltiness was difficult to tolerate. Commendable Aspects: Despite the aforementioned disappointments, there were aspects of my meal that I would like to commend. The preparation of all the meat dishes, whether it was duck, pork, or chicken, was flawless. The meats were exceptionally tender, and the pork dish with chicken-of-the-woods mushrooms reminded me of the flavours of my hometown. The chicken dish had a delightful Sichuan-inspired flavour profile that I thoroughly enjoyed. Highlighted Desserts
