It was our 29th anniversary celebration, we both had tasting menus and it was delicious food, good services, good ambient and for sure we'll come back and recommend to every one to try the restaurant.

Great food!!! We love the small portion à la carte tapas style option. The Dorade raw fish from Iceland was so so delicious. Having been travelling the world and trying so many gourmet restaurants including a lot of Michelin's, Mr. Robuchon still surprised us!

Roblochon is very accommodating. That said, there was no discussion to accommodate us at a confidential table for two to enjoy and share the appreciation of our wine and food
Preparing daily gastronomy, it was very curiosity satisfying to identify basic elements and flavourings.
Our benchmark for comparing other gastronomy was strengthened.

Only one service faux pas was observed in the well styled staff.
My wife on medication should not have alcohol however I believe in offering a tasting to keep her in sharing a pleasure with exceptional food. So be it I order a 350 ml good wine.
The let us call him a basic server gets acceptance of the bottle and rapidly serves generously each glass obliging me to continuously warn her to stretch her consumption to only consume simultaneously with generous forkful of food.
I warn her that that waiter expects me to request a further small bottle that I refuse to do, she agrees. Just before the main plate the server without asking grabs the bottle to pour without asking I was obliged to yell EH that wine is for accompanying our sweetbreads, hold off
Truthfully my wife was poured twice the volume I believe her health tolerates
She suffers Parkinson decease and her medication taken 2 hrs prior to eating does not accept alcohol and I must also try to have her not eat excessive protein content whose pills work opposite to protein.
With Parkinson there is also higher risk of loss of equilibrium, falling while alcohol also affects equilibrium the reason I insist in small tasting .
There better be training so serve only on approval to whom and not to attempt to empty numerous bottles as I observed further than us. Waiters must réalise their responsibility as they did for her allergy to mollusk seafood and juices.
IMPORTANT TO SHARE THIS COMMENT
I WAS VERY ANNOYED BUT DID NOT CUT MY GRATUITY FROM 15 to 05%. as per my concerns

Great meal to celebrate a promotion. When I booked the table online, only patio or bar was available, but someone cancelled and upon arriving we were offered a table in the main dining room, which we were delighted to accept since the weather was kind of gloomy today. We had the Summer Inspiration Menu which was just the right amount of food. Our server Benoit was fun but meticulous, and made our meal very enjoyable. Every dish was delicious. Noise level was just right and we were able to have normal volume conversation at our table. Would highly recommend!

The food, service, wine pairings, attentiveness and overall exceptional creativity all validate the accolades and awards that Chef Joel Robuchon has accumulated over his stellar career. Having dined at L'Atelier in Tokyo several years ago, I was skeptical that I'd enjoy the same level of mastery. I was, fortunately, wrong. L'Atelier Joel Robuchon in Montreal is deserving of its banner. What a phenomenal experience! If you want to have a culinary experience like no other in Montreal, I would strongly suggest you go to L'Atelier. Plate after plate your expectations will be surpassed, your assumptions shattered. The level of care taken from literally everyone there - from front of house to back (which in this case is fortunately center stage for everyone to watch) is of the highest degree. Yes it's expensive, but consider the following: You don't go to L'Atelier Joel Robuchon because it forms part of a special evening; you go to L'Atelier Joel Robuchon because it IS the special evening... It's the only stop. So find your reason why, make your reservation with someone or some people very special to you and prepare to astound your taste-buds and blow your mind. I will be back and I cannot wait!

We were sitting at the bar which gives you a great view of the buzzing kitchen right in front of you. I appreciate the advice of the staff and the possibility of taking smaller plates rather then a main dish hence giving you also the possibility to try both the fish and the meat! Fun-tastic desserts! Make sure you leave some space! Bread basket is lovely too but quite filling - refrain yourself! I simply loved the "morue" I had, the quail and the raspberry dessert.

Service was outstanding.
The environment was wonderful.
The food was amazing except for two of the 20 tasting dishes, and those two were very good, the duck and the scallops were overcooked. Otherwise the langostine carpaccio was one of the best dishes I've ever had.

J'ai du contacter le restaurant pour être sûre que ma réservation par internet était bien validée.
En général, les restaurants contactent les clients pour valider leur venue.
Nous sommes venus pour fêter 2 anniversaires. J'avais demandé s'il était possible d'avoir un fraisier pour l'occasion. Je n'ai pas eu de réponse en retour. Les convives sont repartis avec un petit cadeau mais , à ce niveau de standing, il pourrait être bien de personnaliser un peu plus (cela se fait dans d'autres restaurants de même prestige).

Excellent food. French and creative at the same time.
Excellent service. Smiley people, who new EVERYTHING about the menu, the restaurant and the wines of the huge international wine list.
Amazing decoration.
Paid only 300 Canadian DOLLARS for a sumptuous dinner (2 people)
