   Everything our table ordered was sensational. We had the Chilean sea bass and the seafood salad asta special were fabulous. The salmon was also outstanding. This is the third time we have eaten here and have enjoyed every meal immensely. Outstanding service and ambience. We will return.

   Celebrated my husband's bday, so they had a card and box of cookies for him on the table! Patio is stunning. Food and cocktails were delicious. Staff was wonderful.

   Wonderful celebration of my moms 87th birthday A tradition we do at Lavendar Bistro each year. I was surprised when charged for her dessert but didn’t say anything… otherwise a lovely evening with my mom

   We researched and carefully chose a restaurant for our visit to Palm Springs for our 20th anniversary dinner. I had high expectations for this location based on its reviews and recommendations. We were sorely disappointed, unfortunately, and wished the next day that we had chosen differently. We were asked in our reservation if it were a special occasion, and replied “yes”. Upon our arrival and seating, our occasion was not recognized with even a simple “happy anniversary”. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was forgotten. When I ordered it, the server helped me with the selection and still forgot to bring it until reminded at the end of our meal. The restaurant is very pretty, the live music was great, food was average and service lacking. Sadly, they dropped the ball on our anniversary, where the Covered Wagon tour made up for it this evening. If you’re going to ask about special occasions, at least acknowledge them. If someone orders a bottle, at least bring it before the meal is finished. For the amount of money a dinner costs, it should be a spectacular dinner. I was sorely disappointed.

   While Mothers Day is a wonderful day for mom’s, this night was less than wonderful. Some fault of Lavender’s, but mostly it was the weather. Very hot, even at 7pm, very windy, not the best time to be sitting outside to dine. Who knew, when making reservations! The food was very good, as always, with the one exception of rancid butter. When bread and butter was served, the butter should have been cold, especially because it was probably our hottest day so far this summer. (100 degrees plus). It was very, very soft and one taste of it and I knew it was not good. The rest of our meal selections were fine. I’ve been many times to Lavender Bistro (a very magical place) and while they treated all the ladies to a lovely white rose as we entered, it was a disappointment but not all the fault of the restaurant. As always, the music was too loud on the patio. Difficult to carry on conversations, even though I requested and received seating away from the live music. In summary, would I return to Lavender, yes, but probably not on a special holiday.

   Very disappointed this time about the food, the inside dining, ok service. The inside experience is completely different than the patio’s. Would never reserve inside again.

   It was our second time at Lavender. Service was so slow, we sat for 15 minutes before we even got served any water, and on top of that I had to ask for it as waiters were walking by us, and nobody even noticed us. I will never go back there again. There are too many other better restaurants with attentive service.. when our waiter showed up, he was very nice, but I think we saw him twice during the whole meal when we finally got it. The food was nothing special., our waiter came to us after we finished our meal to check on us and not even check on us when we were eating. We only saw him when he presented us our bill.

    Have always enjoyed this place. The prices have gone up to the point that I will consider other options in the future.
