Great service. Very loud. I wear a hearing aid very difficult to hear. I have problems with garlic and the hostess came over and offered me garlic free choices.

BONNE CHANCE

Great renovation for Le 9. Average food for us: an aubergine sitting on a pile of something, and a greasy fried batter trunk stuffed with overcooked cod. Desserts were mediocre: lime tart (if it was a tart, the crust was bland and soft...), and a half successful chocolate cake which should not be called dacquoise which should firm, not soft. Step up please.

The food was excellent. The service was good. I was truly disappointed by the fact that when they "restored" this venue, they dropped the ceilings. It no longer has the look or feel of being on a cruise ship as it did previously. I thought that was one of the main aims of the restoration. Just look at the photos on the wall of the pre-restoration version and you will see that previously, it looked like you were in a cruise ship. Unfortunately, no longer. So, in a way, it was like being in any other high-end restaurant.
