We offer 2 setting every night; The first dinner service from 5:30 through to 6:30 pm is a maximum of 2 hours dinner experience.
Take an imaginary plane in the evening with the culinary experience of our French inspired menu.
Food prepared at Le Baratin is indeed classic with a modern twist. Classic in a sense of ‘old school’: our sauces are all made in-house, with a veal-based stock. These days, that is very rare. Chef Jean likes the good old way of preparing food - truly, the proper way!
For Brunch, the Croque Monsieur is a must-have. French peasant, or street food, is uniquely reinvented here.

It's a very perfect dinner under this price range. I think the duck leg and the mashed potato is the best. I will definitely back and try lamb and duck breast next time.

We selected Le Baratin based on a friend’s recommendation. Note to self…listen to this friend again. An exceptional restaurant. Full stop. I started with the escargot. This was an astounding dish. Well balanced and delicious. My main was the duck confit, one of my favourites and I ultra critical. The dish was “to die for”. When I thought it couldn’t get better I was the chocolate mouse. Oh how wrong I was. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. In a word…perfect. Thank you to everyone at Le Baratin. We will absolutely be back….soon!

First time at Le Baratin. We went there for dinner on Mother’s Day and were very pleased with the food and service. I had the gravlax starter and the lamb shank with lemon curd with berries for desert. My wife had the pâté to start followed by the duck and crème brûlée. My son had the steak frites and raspberry sorbet for desert. The food was excellent and we certainly will be back to Le Baratin.

Amazing food. Everything we ordered was great - apps (pate, gravlax, escargot, sweetbreads), mains (pork chop, lamb shank, risotto), and desserts (chocolate mouse, poached pear and crème brûlée). Risotto and chocolate mousse were to die for! Service was great. Place is a bit cramped - and you have to embrace the noise level.

Lovely authentically French, neighbourhood restaurant. Wonderful value for very good food from a varied menu. The service is attentive and charming (mais bien sur). The good French wines by the glass are very reasonably priced. The only quibble with an othwise excellent meal, all around, is that the food arrived only lukewarm -- particularly the octopus appetizer. Despite this glitch, this restaurant is a keeper.

This was such a fantastic little neighbourhood French restaurant. We each had the prix fixe meal and each had something different. The food was yummy, the ambiance was cozy, the service was fantastic, and the price reasonable. We also had the vin du table which was also yummy. We will go back!
