    Loved the place. As it was lunch time, it was quiet. The service was excellent. The server was inquiring regularly if everything was ok or if I needed anything. The food was great. The fried chicken on my benedictine was crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside (not dry at all). Served with really tasty potatoes. It is not cheap but it's really worth it.

    Wonderful experience from start to finish. Cute place with very friendly staff. Feels like a home town establishment where you can grab a beer on your way home from work or have a delicious meal with friends. The chicken is outstanding as you would hope. Duck tacos were tasty too. Drinks were also top notch, made with care and fresh ingredients.

    We had a lovely and delicious brunch at le bird bar. The chicken and waffles were perfection and the ‘not so boring brunch’ was anything but boring. Atmosphere and service were great. There were some bees that became a nuisance to all of the outdoor diners but no one can control nature! Highly recommend!

    Great menu options and vegan options. The drinks were delicious and we received pleasant and friendly service. We went on a Tuesday so it was pleasant quiet evening.

    L’endroit est très beau avec du charme, la carte mets en valeur le poulet qui est leur marque toutefois rien d’époustouflants dans les plats. C’est simple, autant niveau goût que présentation, et pour un prix qui par rapport au quartier est déjà dans la fourchette haute. D’autres tables toutes proches proposent des mets plus savoureux pour les mêmes prix. On ne peut pas dire que ce n’était pas bon mais nous ne projetons de ne pas forcément y retourner.

    Disappointing. The hostess was on the phone when we arrived for a solid 8 minutes. Didn't acknowledge our presence. I watched the maitre d see we were waiting and do nothing. Finally got seated at the bar where after 5 minutes the bartender picked his head up to greet us. After another 5 minutes he greeted us again but didn't even offer us a glass of water never mind a cocktail. After ANOTHER 5 minutes, still not having been spoken to, we left. We are well aware of the service and staffing challenges in a post pandemic world and are more than patient but this was not OK. Walked down the street to Foxy and had an absolutely delicious meal.

    Caveat: my meal was focussed on their vegetarian options. The staff were not aware where their food came from. They informed me that their vegan drumsticks were homemade when they are actually store bought. They are not that unique. Cornbread, bad. Dry, doesn’t crumble, so dense that butter can’t even absorb into it. Truffle Mac not bad. Not worth all the other pain and suffering. Host, rude. We were not too happy with where they sat us. She eventually did move us, but the approach to it was not great. Made me feel unwelcome in the space just because we made a last minute reso. Service was ok, but was not able to meet the bare minimum of serving, knowing the product you’re serving. Lights just always flickering inside as well. It’s just not worth going.

    It was a really cool bar, but our food was served cold and I think we saw the server 2 times. Our wine and bill took ages to get to us. The server was really nice but for what we paid for the meal we were disappointed.

    I have been wanting to try this place for a while and am so glad I finally did. We went for brunch and it was fantastic. Cocktails were great and the food was abundant (especially the chicken and waffles which was honestly enough to feed two people). Now I need to go back for dinner! In addition, my friends showed up 30 minutes early for our reservation and the restaurant very kindly accommodated the early arrival.

    Unfortunate that it was clearly understaffed. We received our apetizer at the same time as our meal and our drinks arrived afterwards. Food was good, but a plate with only chicken and a 2nd plate with only vegetables. We had to split both plates to build our own balanced meal.

    For dinner with friends it's fried chicken with cocktails at the Bird Bar. Why ? Because the FamJam offers the best festive menu that can satisfied the hungered ones as much as the foodies ones with the cornflakes crust till the watermelon salad. Just try it ! On site you'll feel like a guest or pick it up for your home crowd.

    Nous sommes allées au Bird Bar avant un spectacle au Centre Bell et j’y retournerais n’importe quand! Nous étions sur la terrasse et c’était parfait. La sangria, la nourriture, tout était excellent!

    They did not cut the berry stems , I think the grilled peaches could have been grilled longer to make them softer... Just my opinion. Great fried chicken and dipping sauces!

    Excellent food, great service. But when I paid with my credit card I was surprise to don’t see the 15% option available for gratuity… the lowest option available was 18%. I often tip that much but just because I did not have the option I manually change it to 15%.
