    They must of changed owners and chef this used to be one of the best fried chicken places Chicken wasn't even hot or crispy fries cold water melon salad was all Watery my tuffle gravy sauce was clumpy and cold definitely nothing like it used to be

    Very meh. Been here twice already now, and the sauce options they give you are so tiny that you run out right away. The chicken is great, but honestly, everything is just very average overall, and the price you pay is quite expensive for what you get. It makes the dining experience quite lacklustre, and honestly I don’t see the need to come back when there are so many great resto options out there, even on the same street.

    It was a nice discovery. The cocktails and food were nice. The service a bit haphazard, but not bad. The music got a bit heavy by the end, but bearable. A bit pricey for what it is, but all in all, not too bad.

    Still a good menu, food and drinks are on point. I appreciate the fact that a trend your restaurant in the area like this, still allows children, and offers affordable options. Really enjoyed the maple root vegetable appetizer, and the peanut butter semi freddo

    Bonjour, nous étions in groupe de 5 personnes, mon conjoint et nos 3 enfants adultes et tous étions très satisfaits de notre brunch. La carte des choix est limitée mais la qualité est présente et chacun a pu trouver ce qui lui convenait. Sans compter que le personnel est est professionnel et très aimable. Je retournerai sans hésiter au Bird Bar et je le recommande sans hésiter 😀

    Enjoyed our first visit to Le Bird Bar. Our server and bartender (we sat at the bar), Sheldon, was extremely friendly and helpful. He provided honest feedback to our inquires regarding menu items, and he had actually tasted the food items on the menu (we didn't get the standard "Everything is good here", commentary. As per his recommendations, we ordered the tequila cocktail from the menu and it was outstanding...well balanced, flavorful, and visually appealing. We shared the pulled duck taco plate with our cocktail, then moved on to a 2 piece portion of the fried chicken which came with corn bread, roasted corn on the cob, and our choice of honeymustard dipping sauce. The chicken and sauce were total winners...crispy skin, flavorful chicken, and the sauce hit those sweet/savory notes and played well with the chicken. To be honest, the cornbread was lacking...rather heavy and gummy in texture and in need of a bit of sugar. The addition of some sort of green chile was the only saving grace here. I wouldn't waste any calories here. The corn on the cob was tough and not terribly flavorful...kind of what you would expect for sweet corn in the month of November (I would suggest rotating some kind of seasonal item, perhaps sweet potatoes). We would definitely order the fried chicken again, but perhaps with different sides. Sheldon also encouraged us to order the steak special and he was spot on! While it wasn't anything "exciting" in terms of seasoning, sauces, etc...it was a delicious cut of steak , perfectly seasoned, AND perfectly cooked (we went with rare). Once again, the fries that came with it were forgettable, at best--- like frozen fries which were pale, lukewarm and not at all satisfying. We also ordered the watermelon, mint, and feta salad and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was, considering watermelon is not is season now! Overall, we were extremely happy with our first visit and plan to return to revisit the menu.

    We ate at the Bird Bar because it was around the corner from our Sonder. The food was delicious (the two piece chicken Really was glorious & it was wing night). The vibe was chill. Lem was our wonderful entertaining server & mixologist. I’d definitely recommend checking The bird bar out!

    Great food and atmosphere. Attentive staff. They take reservations for brunch, making it so much better to go with friends. No waiting outside for 30 minutes (if you reserved).

    Hated it - it was like being in a club with a bucket of over priced KFC. Couldn’t hear anything my friends were saying and the music wasn’t even good. Never again.

    Everything was great, though I might pass on the fried chicken altogether. Wasn’t the best I’ve had and it definitely is worthy of recommending the fried chicken here, it lacked salt and the batter was thick and undesirable to the palette. The fried chicken aside, the service and ambience was amazing.

    The food was amazing and we got so much leftovers with the meal we took. The music was very loud which is expected for those kind of restaurant but the barstool was in velvet (which is a texture I really hate). We ask to be at a table but they were none available.

    Loved the place. As it was lunch time, it was quiet. The service was excellent. The server was inquiring regularly if everything was ok or if I needed anything. The food was great. The fried chicken on my benedictine was crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside (not dry at all). Served with really tasty potatoes. It is not cheap but it's really worth it.

    Wonderful experience from start to finish. Cute place with very friendly staff. Feels like a home town establishment where you can grab a beer on your way home from work or have a delicious meal with friends. The chicken is outstanding as you would hope. Duck tacos were tasty too. Drinks were also top notch, made with care and fresh ingredients.

    We had a lovely and delicious brunch at le bird bar. The chicken and waffles were perfection and the ‘not so boring brunch’ was anything but boring. Atmosphere and service were great. There were some bees that became a nuisance to all of the outdoor diners but no one can control nature! Highly recommend!

    L’endroit est très beau avec du charme, la carte mets en valeur le poulet qui est leur marque toutefois rien d’époustouflants dans les plats. C’est simple, autant niveau goût que présentation, et pour un prix qui par rapport au quartier est déjà dans la fourchette haute. D’autres tables toutes proches proposent des mets plus savoureux pour les mêmes prix. On ne peut pas dire que ce n’était pas bon mais nous ne projetons de ne pas forcément y retourner.

    Disappointing. The hostess was on the phone when we arrived for a solid 8 minutes. Didn't acknowledge our presence. I watched the maitre d see we were waiting and do nothing. Finally got seated at the bar where after 5 minutes the bartender picked his head up to greet us. After another 5 minutes he greeted us again but didn't even offer us a glass of water never mind a cocktail. After ANOTHER 5 minutes, still not having been spoken to, we left. We are well aware of the service and staffing challenges in a post pandemic world and are more than patient but this was not OK. Walked down the street to Foxy and had an absolutely delicious meal.

    Caveat: my meal was focussed on their vegetarian options. The staff were not aware where their food came from. They informed me that their vegan drumsticks were homemade when they are actually store bought. They are not that unique. Cornbread, bad. Dry, doesn’t crumble, so dense that butter can’t even absorb into it. Truffle Mac not bad. Not worth all the other pain and suffering. Host, rude. We were not too happy with where they sat us. She eventually did move us, but the approach to it was not great. Made me feel unwelcome in the space just because we made a last minute reso. Service was ok, but was not able to meet the bare minimum of serving, knowing the product you’re serving. Lights just always flickering inside as well. It’s just not worth going.

    It was a really cool bar, but our food was served cold and I think we saw the server 2 times. Our wine and bill took ages to get to us. The server was really nice but for what we paid for the meal we were disappointed.
