Our favourite restaurant on the island. Superb wide ranging menu and top quality food beautifully presented. Every meal is a masterpiece! Good choice of wine and drinks. Service friendly and definitely a place to go to celebrate a special occasion.

We were very excited to eat at one of the highest rated fine dining restaurants in Antigua! We walked in and was immediately greeted and the restaurant looked pretty. After we sat down it took forever for our waitress to take our order. Once we put in our order it took forever for them to bring our appetizers. We noticed they left out one of the appetizers, but we didn’t say anything since it took so long for the others to come out and we didn’t want to wait. About 15 mins after we finished our appetizers they bought out the 3rd appetizer that we were missing. Then it took an ungodly amount of time for our entrees to come out. My husband had the duck and it had absolutely no flavor. I had a seafood pasta and it tasted like leftover microwaved pasta from a chain Italian restaurant. When I expressed that I wasn’t completely satisfied with my meal the waitress said “oh” and walked away….. At the end of the meal we asked about desserts and the waitress points to a dessert cart that has been sitting in the middle of the restaurant since we got there and who knows how long they were actually sitting out. There’s no AC in the restaurant and it was well over 80 F….

As a party of 8, everyone ordered different meals off the menu. One of us even ordered two meals to go. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS and cooked to perfection! Even the desert was absolutely amazing! The host/waitresses were friendly and attentive. The service was truly exceptional. This was an amazing dining experience and we all agreed El Bistro will be our Go-To restaurant anytime we are in Antigua. 10 out of 10 stars!!

We were recommended by our hotel to try this restaurant for dinner and we were not disappointed. It is a beautiful room with open windows and creates an excellent atmosphere. The food is first class with generous portions of shellfish and fish, including the lobster dishes. Service was excellent with friendly staff. It is well worth a visit if you are in this area of Antigua but you will need to book as it is popular with locals and visitors.

25 January. Service was simply awful. The dreadfully old fashioned dessert trolley was brought to the vicinity of our table and each member of the staff simply managed to ignore it and us for almost 25 mins including the head waitress looking at the trolley, us and then her watch. If she is an owner, then it is little surprise. In the end we did not have dessert. There was no value to going to Le Bistro and I would strongly advise others to avoid.

The food was outstanding; classic French cuisine. My date and I really enjoyed the entire experience. The wine list was top-shelf; our Chateau Corbin was off the charts great. The service was a little hit/miss, especially when it came to refilling our wine but not a big deal, I know how to pour wine. Overall, this is a great dining spot.

I had the onion soup and rack of lamb, and my wife had the pumpkin soup and pork tenderloin. We also splurged and had a chocolate and grand Marnier souffles. Fabulous.

Pasta dish was very nice, but nothing else we had was particularly great - fish main was over cooked and tough. They were very busy so perhaps that impacted. They automatically add a $30 tip to a $150 bill.

In a word Excellent - highly recommend. We had dinner on Friday July 15th and loved it so much we went for dinner the next night. The lobster salad appetizer is outstanding and a meal in itself! My wife loved the escargot. We each had the Yellowfin Tuna as a special on Friday and on Saturday we had the scallops and shrimp in a cream sauce entree and a Red Snapper entree each was wonderful .
