Overall, a nice experience in a quaint part of Montreal. Decor and ambiance was nice. Wine list was strong. Food overall wasn't very good though, unfortunately. One of the worst steaks I've had in a long time – especially given a really long wait for food. Despite the long wait, our server was awesome – personable and attentive. She was one of the highlights of the experience.

We are in from Philadelphia which has great steakhouses. We opted for this restaurant and are happy we did. Heavy pours on the drinks, sizable cuts of meat, great service and nice location in Old Montreal. We will be back next time we are in town. The 24oz Strip is not for the faint of heart.

The lamb chops were amazing and very much worth the price. We were sitting in the centre of the room and it was quite loud. Very good service and otherwise amazing experience.

We waited an hour and 20 mins for our food and when it came the portion was small and the price omg almost 300$ for.one steak and veggies that we shared! Im never ever going back there it ruined our whole anniversary experience so not worth the money at all

I was extremely pleased to have a specially prepared vegetarian dish— which was excellent. My husband was equally pleased with his filet and fries. We had a delightful dinner with outstanding service. This restaurant will be on our list when we return to Montreal!!

My husband and I enjoyed the food . The noise inside upon arrival was loud so we opted to eat out on the terrace. Cars drove surprisingly close but that isn’t the restos fault and wasn’t a down side to be honest , it just surprised us . The food took a little long to come but it was very good food . Service was good . We will definitely go again

The food and service were good. They have a strange schtick of serving food on large discs cut from tree trunks that are ugly and too large for the tables, making food look unappetizing and eating unwieldy.

First time there Out of brussels, out of side bread and out of quail eggs for tartare. Everything we were looking forward to trying and have been recommended was out. Over 20 minutes sitting down (not busy restaurant on Sunday) and we just were served water and no one came back around. One waitress for the whole floor and she was maybe even handling the patio if i recall correctly. For the first time ever, we picked up our jackets and walked out to go back to one of our staple restaurant that I know never fails us. Wanting to try something new was NOT a success. It was my husbands birthday, i wanted the night i planned to be perfect. Instead- Huge disappointment. Do not recommend.

Good restaurant for date night abroad. Situated in what looks like an old town. I. E. Brick/stone roads, etc. Old town architecture. Very scenic. Pretty tight outdoor seating. But we didn’t mind. Only thing is it’s right on the street. So you need to be comfortable with cars driving back and forth very close to you. Cute restaurant though. I enjoyed and would go back. Good NY Strip steak! Was a tad too rare when i got it. Sent it back they fixed it and gave me extra fries on the house.

Lovely atmosphere and great food I would recommend this restaurant to friends Server seemed a bit confused at times but over good service He was very friendly so not a problem. Kareem greeted us at the door and gave us a nice table on the banquet. Our server, Riccardo, was very professional and made great suggestions for wine and food. Food was adequate, nothing special but very well executed. I expected better quality meat for a steak house than 1855 calibre. Overall I give a 7 on 10. Would go back. Bar tender (kal) was extremely nice and courteous would go back just for him

The staff was very accommodating, not only making space where I asked, for a table for one, but very cordially then moving me outside when the perfume of the ladies next to me was too much to endure. The onion soup was good, but could have used more actual broth. The steak was great. Overall, maybe trying a little too hard to be trendy, but a worthy dining experience.

Fantastic meal! We had such a great time at Le Butterfly. The food was delicious, the restaurant is gorgeous, and the staff were lovely. We had our 7yo daughter with us and the bartender made her a special watermelon drink because he decided she needed "something much more special than a Shirley Temple!" The grilled sourdough bread with butter was a highlight, and the steak and lamb both delicious. Will be back anytime we visit Montreal!

Owner Karim is amazing!! My London Mule was not a true Mule. Service was slow Espresso with Bailey's....they don't know how-to Owner made up for all the mishaps!! A true business man
