Booked a last-minute table (at the bar) and was welcomed by name. The service was the best I've had in a long time: attentive, friendly, helpful. The menu had some wonderful choices; I learned that most ingredients are locally sourced. Portions were plentiful; sadly, I was too full for dessert. As I was a sole diner, sitting at the bar was the best option for me. I will return with a group to experience table service. (All the tables seemed engaged and patrons were fully enjoying themselves.) Well done, Le Carré!

Incroyable restaurant, menu varié et original ! la nourriture est délicieuse et on y mange bien Service impeccable et rapide (début de soirée) Chic mais aussi branché, ambiance agréable seul bémol, la musique trop forte à notre gout !

From the moment we arrived it just felt perfect. Le Carre is a small restaurant, but very comfortable. Very nice ambient lighting and modern style chairs & tables. Service was amazing. Everyone worked together to bring out our different courses and everyone was very welcoming and seemed to care about making our experience a great one. We sat by the window in the corner, which was so perfect. They brought out some delicious bread with flavored butter to start. We had the cod croquettes for an appetizer and they were really well made. My husband had the steak and I had the gnocchi, both were so good. My husband said the steak sauce was also really amazing. We ended our meal with an Amazing dessert, Crispy Sugar Squares. We cannot say enough great things about it, it has to be eaten to know how truly delicious it is. Whenever we are in Montreal, we will make sure that Le Carre is always at the top of our list.

Excellent accueil. Très bonne soupe et excellent plat de tomate burata pour commencer. Risotto avec noix de st Jacques très bien, agneau également.

Excellent dinner. We sat at the bar and our servers gave great recommendations. It is a lovely restaurant with innovative food. The cauliflower is outstanding. We also had the scallop risotto, tuna and the maple squares for dessert. It was a highlight of our trip to Montreal.
