The food and service were excellent, we had soup and endive salad which was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
The food was excellent! Friendly service . They do a great job with social distancing, masks and sanitizer. We felt very comfortable.
We came for a birthday brunch for my wife. Food and service good. Really enjoy coming to the cozy cafe !!
My chicken burger was just slapped on the bun , my bun was dry my fries were terrible don't know how you can screw up fries... too bad it's a very nice cozy place but too expensive and not worth the return
After our first experience, one month ago for a date night we went back with friends. Both of us are older couples. Well our friends loved it and thanks us for the invitation. They said that in all the years living on the West Island they did not know of the restaurant. Needless to say they will be back and so will we especially just before a show at the Hudson Theater. And a shout out to Hayley who served us on both occasions. Fantastic Job.
Trop d’achalandage. Bruyant.
Overall a nice, though a bit pricey, experience. Good food, ambiance, and service. Biggest complaint was the music was much too loud. A nice acoustic guitar and singer, but so loud we couldn’t have a decent conversation at our table.
The food is great, the staff is always friendly, quiet and comfortable atmosphere for brunch or lunch. Loved it!
A little thing that we would had prefer was the choice of music. Since it is name cosy, we would have liked instrumental music.
But for the rest, we enjoyed our time.
Thank you
As usual, great service, great food (wing night) all in a beautiful setting.
Quaint with lots of deco pieces some abstract . The food was good and served promptly as it was still hot and cooked a la minute . The staff was very friendly and more than willing to answer questions.
Really nice place but food was average so was the service.
My wife and i go there regularly, it is consistently amazing.
First time going there as we had tickets to hudson theatre. We were pleasantly surprised at the cosy atmosphere, comfortable seating, our waitress was very pleasant and fun and the food was right on, very healthy honest cuisine. And the decaf coffee at the end was an added surprise, the best yet. The musician was ok but a bit loud for such a small place.
Awesome, experience for our first time. Will be going back soon with Friends.
Very disappointed...we were 4 and 3 of the orders came out wrong. My eggs benedict were ice cold and to top it all , we had a reservation for 10:30 for sunday breakfast. After finishing, which was around 11;30, enjoying our coffee and conversation, one of the owners came over and told us that we had to leave in 15 minutes as the table had to be turned over for someone else. On the reservation site, there is nowhere that says you have to be done in an hour and 15 minutes. and to top it all, the bill came to $100. for a mediocre breakfast! I will never go back there. Café campagne is a hundred times better and no one rushed you out, especially on a Sunday morning!!
One of the dishes, a "casserole" of scrambled eggs came with a lot of raw onion, although I had asked for none, and it was missing the advertised salmon and shrimp. The waitress gave us free mimosas instead and brought salmon and shrimp on a side plate, although much later. I asked for toast and was charged $1, which seems strange since other dishes (benedict) some with their own bread. There were no croissants or similar baked goods to be had, which I found odd for a breakfast place in Montreal. The waitress had to be reminded to bring us coffee. It does seem "cozy" but chaotic and amateurish. I might go back to give it another try sometime, but I think they have lots of work to do to get their act together.
Great experience.
Loved it.
Great spot.
We will be back!
We normally LOVE the Cozy, but after this last visit would hesitate to recommend it. The ambiance was great, service was adequate, but food left a little to be desired. The Filla dough topping the French onion soup was under cooked and had fallen into the soup even before being served. I was expecting something “special” with the fried chicken but what I got was a flavourless piece of breast which had been breaded and fried. The pad Thai noodles were overcooked and mushy. We are willing to chalk in up to a bad night in the kitchen, but hopefully this was an exception to what is normally one of the best and most creative restaurants in the area - especially at that price point.
Great place. The food was delicious. You have to try their dumplings! To die for!
Their Cozy Burger is amazing! So tasty!
Staff is super friendly, we enjoyed their Thursday night trivia!
Going back very soon!
We ❤️ love the live music we really enjoy it! Food was really good, wine and service really good, we usually come to Cozy Café for breakfast but decided to try it at night and was so happy the ambiance on a January night was not expected but really appreciated ! Will go back for sure at night as well as for brunch , the best in town !
This place is adorable! Had a long lunch and ordered the onion soup which I loved that they put puff pastry on top instead of bread but did find the soup quite salty. Still the service and ambiance was terrific and they make a great almond milk latte. Will definitely go back!
Upon arrival we had a warm welcome and we seated immediately. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very heartwarming and friendly. The entertainment was great. We willve back soon!
Food was excellent!
About once a year at Christmas time ,for the past few years,I meet my old friend from high school here at your Cafe. She lives in Rhode Island and I now have lived in Ottawa for 25 years.
The cafe has become a special meeting place for us to catch up on our lives and events of the past year.
We always enjoy our meals and thank you for not pushing us out after we finish!!
We both love the cozy decor and of course Hudson is a place I have always dreamed of living in!
Keep up the charm!Thank you!
See you next year and Happy New Year🎉
J’aime beaucoup cet endroit.
The food was cold and although we had a reservation, we were not allowed to use a booth as we were told it was reserved. No one showed up to use the booth the whole time we were there.
First time there. Breakfast was incredibly delicious: crepes, BLT, french toast, bacon and eggs. Beautiful presentations too! Coffee is smooth and rich tasting.
We just moved to Hudson so this will be our go to breakfast place for sure!
We love the eclectic style of the place, warm and inviting at the same time.
I love your restaurant and have always found the food to be very good and interesting. The ambiance is great, but the noise level is terrible. A little background music is very welcome, but when it reaches a level where it is impossible to carry on a conversation, it is unpleasant. I will come back, but definitely not on nights when you have live music scheduled. Sorry to be writing such a negative, and not something I usually do, but in this case, I feel I must.
Fun atmosphere but noisy! Not a place for an intimate dining affair but staff are great, especially Tara! Food was good to exceptional (Seafood Chowder!).
We just loved it!,the decor and ambiance are outstanding. Also the menu is great, lots of options and our dinners were delicious. We had previously been for brunch and this was our first dinner, won’t be the last!, Also will go for drinks and appetizers.
Love this place, it is now our "Go to" restaurant!
Dirty and poor food quality, took 35 mins for our meal and we were the only ones there.
Bonne bouffe , belle ambiance :)
Food is excellent, but the room is dark at night. We were not able to read the menu and had to use the flash light app of our cell phone. A lot of noise too. But overall, it was a good experience.
Nice, cozy ambiance, eclectic interior design, good food and service! I really enjoyed having brunch there!
