Excellent service par Anouk. Salade de Kampachi, absolument délicieuse, rafraîchissante et très bien assaisonnée. Pétoncles poêlés avec une gaspacho aux tomates jaune splendides Linguini à l’encre de seiche et fruits de mer, parfaitement épicé avec abondance de fruits de mer. Homard et ris de veau succulent, parfaitement cuit, un vrai délice! Gâteau au chocolat a terminé merveilleusement bien le repas. On y retournera? Bien évidemment!!

We absolutely recommend Le Filet. The service was impeccable: very caring, with a lot of class, but still easy going. We adored the food. The Japanese influences were subtle, but had a profound effect on your tastebuds.

Excellent food, outstanding choice of wines, outstanding service. Just so high noise level... so good at 9.00 pm once couple of tables become empty ! We 'll definitely come back

Une première visite, et sûrement pas la dernière ! Très belle découverte. Nous avons vraiment adoré le tartare de thon, et les huîtres avec un croustillant d'érable étaient exceptionnelles. Du début à la fin, tout était parfait. J'aurais peut-être choisi un autre emplacement, cependant. Nous avions les deux places au bout du bar, juste à côté de l'entrée de la cuisine, donc il y avait beaucoup de circulation. Une très belle équipe qui semble bien travailler tous ensemble .

Our favourite restaurant in Montreal. Perfect service, friendly and professional, fantastic food, beautifully plated, and lovely ambiance. My husband loved his veal cheek and foie gras gemelli. My duck was to die for. This is our go-to place for special occasions and every time they knock it out of the park.

Five people, 3 ancients (> 50) and two twenty somethings. We all ordered different and all agreed the offerings, plating, tastes were excellent. Le Filet has a unique style.

Restaurant Le Filet est pour moi dans le top 5 des meilleurs tables de Montréal. Pour la nourriture, les vins et surtout la qualité du service. Tout est bien coordonné, pour une expérience de haute gastronomie. Le Filet est notre "Go To" pour les anniversaires ou pour les moments spéciaux

Our family had a delightful dinner celebration - we tasted almost the entire menu and we found all dishes to be delicious, beautifully plated and unique. Kind and knowledgeable service and pleasant atmosphere - strongly recommend!

Les huitres, préparées de 3 façons différentes, étaient purement délicieuses. Celles légèrement épicées et sucrées à l'érable (craquant à l'érable) étaient une belle surprise de goût et de texture. Moi qui n'aime généralement pas trop les huitres chaudes, le gratin de miso sur ces huitres "Simon" s'est révélé être un vrai plaisir. Le poisson du jour à la volée, de la morue d'Islande était un bon choix. Bien que, mon plat était cuit à la perfection alors que celui de mon convive était un peu trop cuit. La sélection de dessert est fort intéressante ainsi que la carte des vins. La majorité des viens provient d'importations privées.

Le Filet was recommended by our son and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was energetic as were the youthful cooks in the kitchen. The flavours of the dishes served were an absolute delight. The tuna tartare was outstanding. Montreal has many excellent restaurants and Le Filet ranks amongst the best we have visited.

Our return visit was very enjoyable. Would like service to “sell” the menu at beginning of greeting. The chef’s miso oyster is remarkable! Shall return just for this alone. Great restaurant group, well managed. Merci!
