we loved our meal at le filet. our server was outstanding in her recommenations had the Halibut oysters squid ink pasta and octopus. of those i would skip the octopus next time and get the ceviche but overall outstanding night out finest meal in Montreal.

Un de nos restaurants favoris à Montréal. On est jamais déçus. Le service est hors-pair, et on a toujours l'impression qu'on est les bienvenus. On y retourne à chaque année, au moins une fois.

Comme d’habitude, c’est une excellente adresse, la nourriture est raffinée, les saveurs surprenantes et le service impeccable. Coup de cœur absolu pour l’entrée au kampachi et le dessert à l’érable et pacanes…

Les plats sont créatifs et savoureux, la carte des vins est juste magnifique et l’accueil est chaleureux comme on aime Mention spéciale pour l’ambiance au comptoir pour souper à 2. 2e expérience au filet top, on a adoré vous l’aurez compris :-)

Prix élevés pour une quantité pas au rendez-vous. Les serveurs sont agréables, les plats originaux, mais il n'y a aucun encas de servi pour patienter avant l'arrivée du premier plat, impossible d'avoir un morceau de pain ou des croutons avec la salade... bref, nous avons connu mieux à Montréal, et ce avec des prix plus raisonnables.

On a eu froid et pour converser il y avait trop de bruit. Pourquoi de l'air froide au point de grelotter.

Everything about this place was outstanding. We will definitely return. The food was spectacular, followed a close second by our the service and knowledge of the staff. We had made a counter reservation (the only one we could manage the day before) but the hostess, noting an open table and the fact that we arrived early, managed to seat us in a choice spot where we enjoyed ourselves over five courses. We made sure to depart just ahead of when we were asked to make the table available but we did not feel rushed in the least. Everyone around us were also enjoying themselves over drinks, on a date, with friends or for family night.

We went to Le Filet for a dinner with friends. We were treated warmly and the personalised service continued throughout our meal. Must have: miso oysters, tuna tartare, veal cheek cavatelli. Excellent wine list with expert suggestions for food pairings. Our favourite go-to place. Never disappointed.
