Excellent experience.

Fabulous lunch with only two other guests in Le Muscadin due to the climate change march in downtown Montreal. The restaurant had numerous reservations canceled because people didn’t want to deal with the congestion. Good news, bad news - great for us because we had a delightful privately prepared excellent meal, sad for Le Muscadin. Classy restaurant I would go back to whenever I can.

I booked this reservation because of the glowing reviews. I was not disappointed, in fact it exceeded my expectations. Leo welcomed us and made us feel comfortable from the start. Jimmy was our waiter who explained the menu and provided us with exceptional service. I had the filet with pepper sauce which was awesome. My wife had the gnocchi and loved it. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their selections as well. In addition to an amazing meal we were serenaded by a singer/guitar player who was wonderful. This meal was beyond dinner. It was truly a dining experience that I was so pleased to enjoy.

Excellent service... It was the best Italian dinner since my trip to Rome. You won't be disappointed.

MUSCADIN has to be one of the finest dining establishments in Montreal. Food quality and ingredients are of the highest standard, and the service is above and beyond.

FABULOUS MEAL from start to finish! Owners and staff were superior - extremely attentive, knowledgeable, efficient, warm and welcoming. The oyster mushrooms were delicious as were the escargot my husband had. Some of the best homemade gnocchi I’ve enjoyed. If you have a chance to visit I highly recommend it!

My first time to Montreal. I was happy we went to Le Muscadin. Leo is a fantastic host. He listened to our desires and helped us select a killer wine and he made a special pasta dish for my associate. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing and he had a great decanter for our Barolo that helped it open up quickly. I felt like I had been his customer for years. We will be back.

Leo took such good care of us along with other servers there. They were so accommodating, hospitable and pleasant. It was my brother’s Master’s graduation celebration and they certainly made it memorable for my family and I. Am very glad to have found out about this restaurant, as your reviews held true to the experience we had. Thank you Leo and your team! You closed our brothers’s Montreal chapter with a bang!

Excellent food quality and great service!

Muscadin is easily my favourite restaurant in Montreal and perhaps anywhere else. The food is always fresh, nicely prepared, and servings are generous. The tables are well spaced so you can enjoy privacy and not disturb other patrons. The wine list is outstanding and we enjoyed an excellent Brunello de Montalcino which was perfect with our meal. The staff at Muscadin are warm, welcoming, cheerful and attentive. Their attention to detail is easily comparable to the best three star Michelin places in NY or Europe. Muscadin is a perfect spot for any dining occasion and you can enjoy a stroll around old Montreal before or after your delicious meal!

Super expérience pour l’anniversaire d’une amie .

One of the best Italian restaurants we have ever experienced! The wine-superb. The salad and crab cakes- spectacular. The linguine pescatore -phenomenal! The perfect finale was the crepe Suzette for two. The quiet guitar player provided the perfect ambiance and the waiter and hostess were perfectly attentive and engaging without being intrusive. Truly a special experience and tremendous value. We strongly recommend this gem of a restaurant. Cheers!

What a charming Italian restaurant located a few steps from our Hotel William Grey. The service and food were excellent. We ended the evening with crepes which the owner prepared wonderfully. Will be back when we visit Montreal again !

The ambiance is one of old school elegance and charm. I was very well looked after by the entertaining owner and knowledgeable waitstaff. The food was excellent as was the wine. All and all a five-star experience!

5 stars across the board for this restaurant. From the moment you walk in you feel great. All the staff was amazing, from the Maitre'd Leo to our waiter Duarte. We had a fantastic time before we even began to eat. The food was outstanding and the prices very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. I will come back to this place when I am back in Montreal.

Excellent service, atmosphere and food. If you’re looking for a classy and great Italian place. Look no further. The owner, Léo and his daughter Josie take care of checking each and every table several times to make sure everyone is well taken care of. We will come again and again.

Had friends in from out of town and want a nice quiet evening to enjoy a nice supper and catch up. The food was excellent we both ordered the rack of lamb for two and the flavors were great and each cooked perfectly to our liking. Our server was great he took could care of us. I had been to their old place several times before, first time at their new location. The ambiance was great our spouse loved the guitar player and his singing it was at the perfect level to enjoy his music and us being able to talk and catch up. We all had a marvellous time.

Absolutely amazing. I’m not the type to write reviews, but this place was fantastic. I was visiting from California for 4 days and it was so good I had to go back a second night before I left. They really make you feel like family and the food is perfect.

The owners, the staff and the ambiance is just outstanding!!! You feel as if you have been invited to a private party of the owners and you are treated like family from the minute you arrive for dinner to the time you leave ... music laughter friendship food vino cigars !!!!!
