   Our meal on May 25th was outstanding start to finish, beginning with the sea urchin ( positively ethereal) the delicious cavatelli and Mackerel XO, all of which showcased their seafood component brilliantly and were plated attractively . We ordered three delectable swordfish mains, generous in portion and impeccably fresh , that were also novel in their preparation ( corn crust) and flavour combinations ( highly original and flavourful). The wine list is well curated. A special mention to our server ( May 25th and a young lady with a charming English accent), who was both knowledgeable and helpful.

   A slice of MTL in the Centretown. LPB never disappoints: playful and attentive staff, consistently outstanding food, a well-curated natural wine list. And thankfully, they always keep the lights down low after dark.

   Me and my partner had came in for an amazing brunch this past Mother’s Day. Our lovely server was fantastic and super friendly. Their plate sizes are worth it for the price that they had for that day and was so yummy. Would recommend anyone looking for a relaxed place to have a well worth brunch!

    Honestly the best meal we have had in a while it didn’t not disappoint we almost ordered the whole menu. We were there quite late the staff was super sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend and we will be back!

    Ah it was alright. Went for the oysters but there was no cocktail sauce, yes you heard me right, no cocktail sauce at a seafood restaurant. There also wasn't tobasco. Instead there was this other cumin based sauce that they were really proud of but honestly it just does not work with oysters. At least the price was good on Wednesdays ($2 oysters)

    Very enjoyable first visit to a great addition to the Ottawa scene. If you love fish, and creative preparation, you will love this resto. Service was great and food superb. Beer lovers will be left a little wonting for choice but there are some solid options. We can't wait to return.

    Le Poisson Bleu is constantly innovating new and novel ways of preparing fish. On this occasion we shared the trout crudo (easily my favourite dish in the city right now), fluke ceviche which was bright and fresh, and a whole branzino in Piri-Piri sauce - everything was fantastic. The duo of eclairs, one with Caramelized fish scales as a topping, were brilliant.

    Very good food (in terms of feshness and quality) and good service (however, waiters need to be taught to not rush the wine poor, as much is lost in splatters on the table). Wine list needs to be expanded a bit, for both red and white. Our white wine was very good and served at the appropriate temperature. As for the atmosphere, the acoustics are awful. And when loud music is added, it is difficult to hear your guest. For that reason alone, we will not return, but make no mistake, the food is very good.

    If you’re a fish lover, you must try Le Poisson Bleu. Innovative dishes, great service and relaxed atmosphere. Our table of four all enjoyed the food, with our favourite being the fish beignets. We will definitely be going again!

    bones and scales in sea bass=not a good idea! Way too dark, tea light only glow so hard time seeing our food and reading menu - tables too crowded - music too loud - cold blasts coming in with every new customer arriving - limited choice of wines & all pricy - failed to list walnuts in crepe flambée dessert description - appeared as though too many staff floating around - very disappointed
