   The food at Poisson Bleu is innovative, delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is intimate and elegant, and the service is superb. I highly recommend this restaurant!

   came with my mother for her 60th birthday and sat at the bar. we love high energy so it was an absolute pleasure. a blast as always :)

   We had a wonderful evening at Le Poisson Bleu. The food was exquisite and our waiter Anthony was outsdanding. Beautiful decor, drinks and a lovely selection of wines. What a gem, I highly recommend.

   Really great experience for New Year’s Eve. Wine list was short and pricey but enjoyed a great bottle for the special occasion. It was a bit dark to see your food. Lobster was a bit overdone perhaps but I don’t usually have baked versions so could be me. Beautifully plated and the chef was attentive. Nice bar too. I’d come back for drinks and something more casual. FYI meat free recipes only.

   Absolutely a place to try out and I will go again...but it really is a fish resto, so don't expect non pescatarian alternatives. We were happy with that. The food was creative and well prepare and presented. There is a sense of a still new restaurant in the ramping up stage. It was very odd that neither tea nor coffee to finish was available and we went through two wine choices before finding a third that was actually available. A broader wine selection would enhance the dining experience. So if you like fish, do help this place find its niche among Ottawa's great seafood restaurants.

We have saved up enough money to be able to buy a nice coffee machine in the new year and our wine list has already grown from 12 selections to 28, expect even more selection in the future!
