Fantastic service in The Tap Room, a unique and delicious menu, original cocktails and a solid wine list. The food was prepared to perfection and one of the best meals we have had in a long time. And the decor was just so cozy. Breakfast in the hotel dining room was perfect - the croissants were flaky perfection and the salmon, creme fraiche, terrine plate was creative and the ham was beyond expectation. I know right? When have you ever felt that way about ham? Well, this morning, that is when. Thanks for a great quick getaway Manoir Hovey!

Looking to relax after a long drive, Warren gave us a fantastic table by the window. And then proceeded to take great care of us, what a treat. And the food did not disappoint. The burger was amazing!

The food and service were notably excellent. Our party had a variety of entrees, including vegetarian, beef and fish and all parties were very happy and enjoyed the flavors. The service was very attentive and friendly. The seating was a bit uncomfortable but not overly so.

Ambience and Service were excellent ---Drinks and wine also excellent!! The only thing I did notlike were my scallops, they seemed cold and pork/shrimp roll tasteless so I did not care for that dish, lamb was ok but not spectacular---next time i will order something different. The restaurant is cozy and our mussels with cauliflower were very good !! The bread fantastic. I thought maybe there would be a small bar in the restaurnat to have a drink but there wasn't . At times I felt rushed with dinner orders but understandable with table turn overs--I was hoping for a more casual menu in this restaurtant as the main restaurant is classic fine dining and cusine . It would be nice if the Le tap offered some casual fare --THANK YOU

Amazing experience! The staff was so professional and caring. The beauty of the decoration was remarkable. Towels in bathroom. Food was out of this world: original, tasty, beautiful presentation, hot, refined. Warm ambiance. Everything was perfect in every detail. Five star.

Thank you for a nice table. We had a great time with my brother who is visiting us from Japan. We enjoyed most of our dishes however one recommendation about amount of salt in Gnocchi dish. It was quite salty. I guess it is better to put less salt in cream cheese If you add good amount of cheese. Mushroom soup was excellent. We will be back, for sure. Thank you.

Great scenery, we had an outdoor table with a beautiful fall view with a “geese soundtrack”. Everything was perfect. We’ve been going to Hovey Manor for decades and had never tried the Tap Room so we will be back many times I hope.

Nous avons passé une excellente soirée sur la terrasse. La vue était superbe et le service formidable. Seul hic, les saveurs et le raffinement de nos plats étaient moins impressionnants qu'à ma dernière visite en mai. La morue de ma soeur manquait d'assaisonnement, mes pétoncles étaient un peu trop cuits. C'était bon, mais pas au niveau d'excellence de notre expérience en mai où j'avais mangé le meilleur repas de ma vie.

We expected to sit in the bar. Surprise! We had a table on the porch facing the lake. My friend had the arctic char. I had the zuchinni gnocchi and fresh tomato salad. Food was amazing. I highly recommend. A lovely evening. Thank you!

Site enchanteur pour un lunch en extérieur le midi en bordure du lac. Les plats commander étaient bien réalisés et goûteux. Toutefois, les prix m’ont sembles un peu cher pour ce genre de repas le midi ( une entrée a 38$). Le service était attentionné et très professionnel.

Plat du jour n était pas un Wow! Moi le steak de ronde, trop fibres difficile à mastiquer et pas assez cuit malgré la demande de médium saignant ! Il était presque bleu! Mais l'ambiance , le décor et service impeccable. J aurais souhaité un wow dans mon assiette !

What a find! Tucked away at the back of the Manor Hovey is this wonderful, cosy, pub-style restaurant. We stopped for a quick lunch, selecting a special of 8 oysters (gratinée and with a delightful tapenade), followed by stuffed quail and a delicious plate of scallops. The plating was classy and artful, and the portions were generous. Our drinks were exquisitely made with premium ingredients, and the wine-pairings suggested by the sommelier were perfect (despite the more limited wine selection when compared to the main restaurant). The quail was moist and perfectly cooked, and the scallops were fresh, lightly caramelized and buttery one a crisp bed of fresh, lightly sautéed vegetables. Perfection!

As always, an enjoyable experience for my dining companion and me. This time, however, a slight letdown. The once delicious lobster roll is now shrimp and lobster in what looked to be a hotdog roll, which is smaller. Shrimp is less expensive than lobster, so is this a cost savings initiative? I detected fennel in it this time, so flavour was different, although not unpleasant. Of note, the menu on the website still has lobster roll. Our coffee was delivered lukewarm. This was brought to the attention of Felix, our server who remedied the situation . Felix was very attentive and polite.

Amazing food with a superb lake view. Peaceful environnement. I think it’s only the service that feels a bit of a let down. We got our coffees served before the desert and they had actually forgot to bring us the desert. Had to wait roughly 20min for the deserts to be brought out. However, it remains overall a great place to enjoy some really good food
