Hovey Manor was very accommodating with my request to change the reservation at the last moment. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. It made for a very enjoyable evening with friends.

Very nice ambiance at a classic Quebec Inn on a beautiful lake. The Tap Room is the less formal alternative to the main restaurant at the Hovey Manor, but it is charming nonetheless. Get a table on the outside terrace overlooking the lake. Beautiful. Food was excellent, and the service wonderful.

What a wonderful meal! I sat on the Terrasse which had an amazing view of the lake. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent, fine dining quality. Excellent selection of wines too. I highly recommend eating here!

Outstanding location, starters where OK but with room to improve, main dishes delicious, desserts fantastic. Service very friendly and competent. It’s worth to repeat this event any time (as we know since years and coming back and back again).

Après le Hatley il y a un mois (extraordinaire!), ce bistrot en terrasse pour le lunch fut extrêmement décevant pour l’anniversaire de mon mari. Malgré la vue magnifique sur le lac, Service perdu, inacceptable dans un tel établissement. La “sommelière” (elle portait un insigne de grappe) ne connaissait pas le Rhum & coke!?!?… On aurait dû nous dire dès le début qu’il n’y avait pas d’endives, 3 de nous en voulaient… Les entrées étaient bonnes et appétissantes mais les plats principaux ont tous déçus. Très peu de chair de poulet dans les burgers, surtout friture. L’assiette de moules fut presque renversée donc bouillon sur la nappe sans qu’on y fasse quoique ce soit ?!… la guédille saucisse de fruits de mer serait mieux bien traditionnelle… pour un Relais Château , le menu pourrait être plus frais et novateur Pour finir, erreurs de facturation… Non, goût amer en bouche en quittant…malgré le bel environnement!
