   We shared both the mussels and rack of lamb at Legacy Restaurant. Servers were very good and attentive. The servings were generous and quite enough for both of us. A very good restaurant in Sarnia.

   Our server April was very attentive and gave us excellent suggestions, including desert. Unfortunately we were in a time frame, and could not stay.. rest assure we will be back to try the cream brûlée.

   Breakfast was less the we expected. Buffet style, all the hot food was cold. Eggs, pancakes, sausage… all cold. The server got us fresh eggs from the kitchen, but my overall breakfast experience was not great. I will not be back for breakfast in the future.

    It was our first time at the restaurant and it is a beautiful restaurant. The appetizers were a huge hit - watermelon spinach salad, sambuca jumbo shrimp and Caesar salad. The mains were a little less impressive but still good. The beef in the pappardelle was tough. The taste was great

    It is, in my opinion, the best place to eat in Sarnia. The wait staff are excellent, and the decor is lovely. I like that they have specials, but they will have to watch their pricing, as steaks for $55+ and in Sarnia may fail to bring in the customers. That being said, the quality of the food is good, and they have a nice variety of table styles for different sizes of groups.

    Four for dinner. Paige was our server and she couldn't have been more attentive or pleasant. Dinner was enjoyed by all. A fine job all around. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area. Thanks to the whole staff.

    When it opened it was a welcome addition to local restaurants. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. However, recently it has got quite expensive. As a regular visitor I look forward to a nice meal, but the menu hasn't changed since the restaurant opened 5 years ago. New items are needed!

    The wine selection is fantastic. The cocktail menu has some great options, including the special, a lemon drop martini. The selection for appetizers is small. I would love to see a little more variety. The main course, a 10oz steak and the seafood spaghetti, were both delicious and perfectly cooked. They provided a free dessert, which was a delicious rich chocolate and raspberry sorbet. Overall, the service was great and the food was delicious.

    My husband and I were happy to try out this restaurant. It is going to be our new “special occasion” dining choice. Dinner is pricey but delicious, and portions are generous for a fine dining establishment. The sambuca garlic sauce jumbo shrimp was unreal and the sea bass was fabulous as well.

    Very good meal, upper class and expensive. We had a special occasion, asked for a quiet table, got placed next to a gathering of around 28 people at the back of the restaurant, a very large family affair, noisy. Was difficult to have a conversation.

    The food and service were amazing. Beautiful restaurant. The ambience was perfect for our anniversary dinner. They gave us a complimentary dessert which was so sweet! It is definitely a restaurant for a special occasion as it is a little expensive but everything is amazing!

    The atmosphere was perfect. Enough lighting but not too bright. Very elegant for a special occasion. Staff was very polite and professional. Not sure if they had an elevator but stairs from outside might be an issue for the older person. Costs were no worse than anywhere else. Food presented very nice.

    Dined at Legacy with my wife for our anniversary. The ambiance, the service and the meal itself were fantastic. The prices were fair for the portions and quality of the dishes, and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

    Terrible New years brunch. Everything was cold. No heat under any chaffing dish. Bacon was limp and sitting in pooled grease. No house made breads or desserts. No toast / just cold buns with butter pats also cold. Never again will I go there for any breakfast or brunch.

    We went for the New Years Day brunch. We literally had no waitress. The hostess brought us water and coffee and then we never saw anyone again until we got up to leave. The waitress then acknowledged us and asked if we were leaving. It was one of the strangest restaurant experiences I have ever had. No one wants to eat at a restaurant where you are invisible to the people working there. Hands down the worst service I’ve had in a restaurant that only had a handful of tables occupied.

    We had a bigger group of guests reserve a table for NYE. Dinner service was 4 hours long total from the time we arrived to the time we paid (7-11 pm), despite pre-ordering when we reserved from their limited NYE menu, which we assumed they would be prepared for. This “dinner” ended up ruining our evening and as we arrived very late to our other new years plans. Server disappeared for 30-40 minutes at a time, with no communication with regards to why there was a delay. Took over 30 minutes to get drinks. Food was all served cold and staggered amongst guests at our table. One of our guests had to send her steak back 2x before they got the cook right. Portions were way too small (one baby carrot and one piece of asparagus for the vegetables) and overall the food was not good and way over-priced (75 per meal plus drinks). Many of us left still hungry. There was a loud party next door with a band or DJ that started around 930 pm so for an hour and a half of our dinner we couldn’t talk to one another at our table without raising our voices. Very disappointing and unacceptable experience. Definitely won’t be returning.

    The server was extremely efficient and friendly. The ambience was lacking as customers were placed close together row by row. We asked to be moved to a more private seating and , luckily, a booth opened for us. The amuse bouche was cold and hard, the lobster bisque was thin with sparse and tiny morsels of lobster My Creole chicken was very tasty but was accompanied by mushy risotto/rice and cold vegetables. The key lime pie was delicious. However, based on my experience, I would consider the meal to be overpriced and would not return. They were underwhelming in their attempt to be a high end restaurant.

    We had a very good experience dining at Legacy. Waiters and waitresses were excellent .Food amazing .Our only problem was the weather and parking. Parking might not have been an issue in better weather.

    The Christmas buffet was incredible. Staff was amazing and service outstanding! They had someone assist my father in law at the buffet so that we could all go together...carried it right back to the table. Buffet with prime rib, roast turkey, alllll the fixings, and a made to order pasta bar, and deserts for days. You made Christmas dinner an absolute joy...my father in law was so happy with his meal, we couldn't have asked for any better! Thank you to the hard working staff who gave up their holiday to make ours memorable.
