Excellent service and delicious food served hot. Good sized portions even for the prix fix menu. Would go again and recommend to friends.
GREAT RESTAURANT. Food and service was great, food was all tasty. We tried the frog leg poutine, prawn, lamb shank, beef wellington, and duck confit. All meats were cooked perfectly to medium rare consistantly. I have read the negative comments on here and google about the service but the service we had for our table of 6 was perfect. We had live music as well which was nice.
Food: 4/5 only because the prawn was only average)
Location: conveniently located in upper whistler village
Also the comments regarding covid regulations being followed to the teeth...if youre scared, eat at home.
Excellent spot. Great service and the food...braised lamb and duck dinner were both excellent. Lovely décor.
Outstanding! Interesting menu and great food and service - loved it! Try the meatballs with the spaghettini inside... Yum!
A hidden gem by the Chateau. Small, frienfly, safe Covid protocols, great food and service. Not a huge menu. Second time there soon to be a third!
Service was great. Food itself was super average. They need to google what a beef wellington is.. Their steak placed atop a pastry I guess is a lazy man's beef wellington? Overall not a great experience. Would not go back.
The restaurant was closed! Why are they still on open table?? Had to walk 15 min from my hotel only to find it wasn’t even open
Totally great. Perfect.
Quiet place, great food, creative chef.
Service was great. I have picky eaters but both kids enjoyed their meals.
The food was amazing and service was great. Highly recommend!
Reserved a table and when we got there, it's like they didn't even know we had a reservation. Everything went downhill from there:
- Waiter did not know the specials and seemed spaced out
- Our wine glasses had food and water marks all over them (Dirty!)
- No water was offered until we asked
- No side plates, cutlery or napkins were given to us prior to our appetizer arriving. We had to ask.. again!
- Did not get steak knife for steak. Asked.... AGAIN
- And the icing on top of the cake, the red pepper in the salad still had the sticker on it! Which makes us believe they didn't even wash the vegetables!
- When we brought the issue up of the sticker, we got an apology from the waiter but no food comp and we decided to get dessert elsewhere even though it was included but that wasn't comped too.
So we paid full price for horrible service, food that was so-so, and a bad dining experience. It wasn't even that busy (2-3 other tables) so I am not sure why it was so bad for us. Would recommend trying somewhere else.
Great tasting food, wonderful ambiance in a nice intimate setting. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner!
Home made seasonal vegetable soups were both so yummy! Prawn dish awesome. Mains excellent portions and delicious! Desserts (especially the cheesecake) outstanding!
They even had my favourite Chardonnay from Lillooet! Can’t say enough about this fabulous place.
My whistler favorite restaurant, highly recommend to everybody
Poor covid practices. Staff were not wearing masks. Chicken still raw in the middle. Slow service.
I wouldnt eat here again. Overpriced for poorly flavoured meals and drinks.
Worst restaurant ever! First off let's open on time at least. Restaurant is supposed to open at 8:30am, my wife and I had reservations for 8:45am. We show up, restaurant is closed until 9am because the so called "chef" couldn't get up according to what one of the staff told us. We see the "chef" come in at 9am and he looks like he has been drinking all night, a total slob wearing jean cut off shorts and it looks like no shower was taken. We order thinking the food can not be that bad, I mean who can mess up sausage and eggs. Well we have a winner, this so called chef did. We ate eve though it was not that good as we had to get on with our day. DO NOT EAT HERE. If this was the last restaurant on earth I would starve to death before I would eat here again. I am actually shocked that open table even allows this place to be on their website!
We were visiting for our honeymoon. Read the online reviews the restaurant had good reviews and possibly live music so we decided to book a nice meal together there. Unfortunately we had arrived during new Covid 19 protocols being introduced to the province and there was no live music. No ones fault as it’s the rules and regulations everyone had to follow.
Arrived at the restaurant very small and lovely space. The staff was pleasant however were not following Covid 19 protocols of wearing any masks. Food was very average, my wife had salmon and I had the lamb. Both meals were around $30 but the food was disappointing. Cocktail I had which was an old fashioned was very good but my wife was disappointed in her cider she ordered. The drinks were about $30 running us close to $100 for the entire meal. Not terrible value if the meals had been a little better done.
Hoping we just caught them on a bad night but not the best first impression left for this restaurant on us.
Truly a hidden gem in the upper village, excellent food, fast and friendly service. We can’t wait to go back and try some of the other original items on the menu.
Anniversary 38 yrs
Decent food, interesting menu. Tables well spaced for Covid-19. Server interactions were well timed and we did not feel rushed. Some choices on the wine list were unfamiliar, so she brought small tasters to help us decide. One concern was when some locals stopped by for a drink, social distancing went right out the window between them & the servers.
No Staff wearing the Mask even Kitchen Staff.
Totally Insane !!!!
The food was mediocre. The ambiance was not helped by the barefooted old guy sitting at the bar grooving to an endless ABBA soundtrack. I assume the music was for the serving staff because it certainly didn't seem like the patrons were enjoying it (except for the barefooted one). The service was good though. No need to come back, especially given the strong offerings in Whistler.
Very excentrict food.. the menu was not for me as i am a simple guy.. Bison, frog legs..Not for me, but the steak frites were exceptional.
Delicious food, great service, good drinks and EASILY accommodated my multiple food allergies (gluten, dairy and egg!)
Great location with a really nice ambience. Basic food not worth the value.
Wife’s birthday, but I’m not too sure the staff saw the note, which is fine.
Food and service were great!! I had the burger and my wife had the steak frites and both us were very impressed.
Food was good service from our server was excellent. A bit cold due to the door open and there was some confusion about us having a reservation.
Lovely local escape from the main village. Owners and staff who understand how to turn even a burger date into a memorable dining affair. We will be back soon!

Frog legs poutine...had me at that. Good wine list as well.
Soup of the day was amazing. Rest of the food was mediocre. The restaurant was empty. Staff was not wearing masks.
Menu is eclectic in that everything has a little twist for a new dinning experience. Loved the frog leg poutine. Great service and people.
Great service Wonderful meal.
Lovely spot. Small, good food, good wine, friendly staff. Would go back and recommend for sure.
The salmon was perfectly prepared. The service was fabulous too.
Very small restaurant. Nice food lovely people, service was a bit hit and miss when it got busy.
Food was amazing, highly recommend the braised lamb!! Great service as well, Veronica was a great front of house.
We had a family dinner there while on vacation. This was a really nice find, the restaurant and staff were excellent and the food was delicious. Will come and dine here again.
