Food was fairly good but the service was inexcusably horrible.
Also they do not check vaccine passports, care if you wear a mask, and their own kitchen people don’t wear masks.
Had a great dinner great service and excellent desert
Great ambience, a well balanced menu. The steak, chimichurri and fries were outstanding. Definitely get the fried cheese cake. All in all, a great dining experience.
Our entrees both included some unexpected but delightful and delicious food ingredients. Tasted very ‘hand crafted’. Wonderful selection of sides accompanied the main. Definitely will be returning the next time we visit Whistler!
Salmon was dry. Came with a maple sauce which tasted like it had been sitting there and just spooned over salmon before being served. Potatoes had no flavour, Had to leave half of lamb because it was like a big piece of muscle which couldn’t even cut through. Lamb was gamely. Did not taste good. Type of meal you would expect at a Denny’s.
Our first experience at Legs. We had a fabulous evening. Everything was five star and we’ll definitely be back.
Intimate dining experience .
We enjoyed our dinner , found the food tasty and service fabulous. Thank you again for hosting us .
Great architecture and decor. Fabulous bar and open kitchen. Pleasant and attentive servers. Quick service. The only downside was the live guitarist. The music was too loud to have an easy conversation with tablemates. If you have hearing aids this may not be the place for you.
Tasty but small portions … lamb dinner came with half a table spoon of mash potatoes lol wtf?
Underwhelming overall. The pictures make the restaurant look so much better. We were disappointed.
One of Whistler’s hidden gems. Great food with some creative menu options and a comfy atmosphere.
I had the lamb ribs which was an excellent meal. Very fulfilling. Also had the Caesar salad that I shared with my friend and it was easy to share as it was in two separate portions. I have to say my friend had the chicken leg but found it difficult to cut. They were extremely busy when we got there and we thought it was going to be a while till we got served but they proved us wrong. Good job!
Do not get the meatball starters. There were only two meatballs with little bit of spaghetti in it. They were also a bit burnt and had tomato paste rather than sauce, it was quite disappointing.
Unfriendly staff! The food was not what they described on the menu. When we inquired they were defensive and argumentative. If you want over priced blah food, then this is the place for you.
The food was very tasty, good portions, not many options but a good variety that is likely to please most people.
Unfortunately the service we received wasn't very good. We were sat in the walkway outside the restaurant, I am not sure if there was some confusion whether we were the responsibility of the inside or outside server but all tables were repeatedly checked on and served but we had to wave down a server at every step after a long wait if trying to make eye contact.
Was able to accommodate us even though we were a larger party. Thanks!
Awesome food! Such unique dishes. Fish and chips, lamb ribs, meatballs, and deep fried cheese cake were all A+.
Thanks for your five star review! We appreciate it.
The fish and chips was delicious like nothing I’ve ever had!
Glad you enjoyed your evening!
Food was fantastic, service was brilliant - didn’t feel rush at all, the singer on the guitar/harmonic was fantastic too - not too loud, added phenomenally to the atmosphere and most unexpected, which made it all the more appreciated. Will definitely return!!
Yes Lindsey, Cowboy Rob is a great entertainer. We like listening to him too! Come back soon.
Okay nothing special
Hi Anonymous, thanks for your review. We are continually working to improve our service and appreciate your feedback. Come back soon!
Congratulations to the groom. Come back soon.
Sympathetic bistrot in the heart of Whistler, original menu and good selection of wines from BC (though the actual availability by the glass was limited that night): frog leg poutine, vegetarian bow pasta, game burger(!), quite the treat.
Thank you for your recommendation. You have listed some of our favourite menu items. Come back soon!
My wife and I attended Legs Diamond for our 15th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the food and ambiance
Thank you for your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your anniversary.Come again!
Bad experience. Son requested medium rare but steak was blue rare in middle. Rather than replacing it they threw it back on grill for a couple minutes. Wife's vegetables had no seasoning, just some weird sour drizzle they said was balsamic vinegar but didn't taste like it. My pasta was okay but slightly undercooked. Highlight was singer playing guitar at entrance. Wondered why there was multiple available times when I booked and empty tables when we got there while every other restaurant in Whistler was booked for several days but mystery solved!
Awesome service and great food!
Thanks BrigitteM. Come back soon!
Our server did a great job considering she was the lone server. Unexpected entertainment guitar plus vocals was good. The only complaint would be my husband’s main which was cod. Good but only a couple to 3 oz so value for money not what I would expect.
You need a table outside. Inside is dark and unattractive. We were well served and the waitress was amazing, fast and efficient.
The best thing about this restaurant was the live music. If you want to be ignored by wait staff, and have mediocre food at premium resort prices then this is your place. Place wasn’t even half full (including patio) on a Saturday night. Although apparently according to every waiter they talked to they were slammed. I almost forgot that there were dirty dishes and plates that littered the tables inside where prior customers finished their food. Well after the people have left the spot.
Would not recommend this place to anyone. Service wasn’t great but I’m willing to overlook that as they were busy and short staffed. Drinks were overpriced and were not what we had asked for. They changed the drinks but still charged for one of them even though it was undrinkable. Food was mediocre at best the fish was soggy and the chimichurri on the steak overpowered the entire meal. The best part of our entire meal was the gentleman playing guitar and singing. At the end of it all we ended up going into the village and ordering a pizza which tasted 100 times better than the food that we had at Legs.
One waitress, no seasoning on food, pasta was okay, and desserts were the only good part.
Attentive service, cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The soup was excellent!
Not impressed. Food was mediocre. Not once did the server ask if our dinner was ok. Brought the entrees to our table before we were finished the apples. Had the chicken and the lamb shank. Neither was very good. Won’t go back. Such a shame as the reviews were good.
It was obvious they were having some start-up issues. They tried, but the food and service still required some work. The patio area was very pleasant.
Food was wonderful, ambience during CV times, great music throughout the evening was wonderful
Excellent service and delicious food served hot. Good sized portions even for the prix fix menu. Would go again and recommend to friends.
GREAT RESTAURANT. Food and service was great, food was all tasty. We tried the frog leg poutine, prawn, lamb shank, beef wellington, and duck confit. All meats were cooked perfectly to medium rare consistantly. I have read the negative comments on here and google about the service but the service we had for our table of 6 was perfect. We had live music as well which was nice.
Food: 4/5 only because the prawn was only average)
Location: conveniently located in upper whistler village
Also the comments regarding covid regulations being followed to the teeth...if youre scared, eat at home.
Excellent spot. Great service and the food...braised lamb and duck dinner were both excellent. Lovely décor.
Outstanding! Interesting menu and great food and service - loved it! Try the meatballs with the spaghettini inside... Yum!
A hidden gem by the Chateau. Small, frienfly, safe Covid protocols, great food and service. Not a huge menu. Second time there soon to be a third!
