The Lemon Grove Bistro is in a historic mission-style building in the heart of Lemon Grove. Since 1912, it’s been a place where locals meet and build connections, whether they were picking up their mail at the Sonka General Store in 1944 or ordering custom cakes at the Grove Pastry Shop in 2012.

We were here for their first anniversary dinner with a prix fixe menu where we chose a shrimp scampi appetizer, beef filet, halibut, and chocolate budino desert. It was all excellent and very reasonably priced. I also had lunch there and had beef short ribs which were great. The service is wonderful, helpful, friendly, efficient without hurrying you. This is my new favorite restaurant! Try it!

The food is always excellent. Very friendly service. They are a bit slow, but i will make do with it as I love to support local and the food is excellent

The food is always tasty and presented nicely. I have loved every appetizer, entree, and dessert. I highly recommend Lemon Grove Bistro. It is truly a hidden gem in Lemon Grove.

This is a new little gem in Lemon Grove. We had a reservation which was a good idea otherwise we would not have been able to be seated there. The wait staff was very good, attentive but not hovering. It was a little noisy, but not too bad. The tables are large, and I felt very far away from my friend. The food was excellent. It was hard to decide on what to order. My friend had the seasonal flatbread and Ceasar salad with a beautiful piece of salmon on it. I had the beef bourguignon with mashed potatoes. It was so wonderful!! It was a toss-up between that and the short ribs. I will be back.

Hidden gem - I was a little skeptical when driving to the location, but once I arrived, no issues. Cute establishment, food was delicious, and service was perfect!

We decided to try Lemon Grove Bistro on a whim. We had no real expectations, but were blown away by the selections and taste of the food. Our waiter, Larry, was awesome! I would highly recommend this hidden gem.
