   The only explanation why this restaurant has 4.2 is that the menu has nothing out of this world. But, standard stuff, prepared the right way. Im sure if chef goes on some experimental trip and extends menu, they should hit about 4.5 or better which they deserve.

   The staff made our night very enjoyable. Always attentive. They checked in my wife’s jacket, so it doesn’t clutter our seats. Played some salsa music, which made it fun and it wasn’t too loud. You can have a conversation. All in all it was a great experience. Food was great as well.

   Mushroom appetizer was crack! Delicious food and our server was a lovely young lady who was very attentive yet unobtrusive. But at ~$90 AGC, please look to perhaps install simple soap dispensers in bathrooms so guests do not have to see leaky/ almost empty 'Soft soap" brand bottles placed unkemptly on the counters, it was the only off-put on an otherwise lovely visit

    The food was amazing! We went for Mother’s Day, they offered a prix fixe menu that had family style appetizers and dessert with a choice entree. The entrees were a great variety. Service was excellent, very attentive and the bartender as well! Would go back to enjoy another delicious meal and great service.

    Food was excellent, staff was excellent. They were very acommodating when I was running about half an hour late to my reservation due to unforeseen traffic. I called and they were pretty cool about it. The atmosphere was beautiful, the washrooms were big, however they are down a large flight of stairs so not sure how accessible they are. The entire place was beautiful though 10 out of 10.

    I didn’t like the table I was assigned, too much people traffic all the time, it was annoying However , the waitress was vey kind , food good , ambient good but didn’t like the second floor

    I made My reservations with La Leña based on their phenomenal reviews, they did not disappoint!. From greeting to the service and everything in between its well worth every single dollar spent, the food was very carefully and thoughtfully prepared as were the drinks and the customer service from all the staff was next level, would definitely recommend to any friends and family!

    This restaurant is overrated. The food is fine and the chef and the kitchen crew are accommodating and professional. However, the service staff are not well-trained and don't know some basic workflows of restaurant operations. For example, the need to clear the table with trays and plates piled up with no more room to put anything on the table, before bringing the main course. In addition, the problem starts at the first interaction upon entering the restaurant, where the host is very abrupt, impatient, and couldn't care less if you are there or not, let alone for a special occasion. Special requests don't mean anything at this restaurant, so don't bother. Again the food is fine, and our waiter was soft-spoken and courteous, but some of the basics of waiting and service is not there. This restaurant benefits from having a good location and good kitchen staff. However, their service will be their downfall. Not recommended for the price and drama with the host.

    The food was good, however service not so much. Everyone was busy running around and you could not even get their attention for service. We wanted to seat at the bar level as that is what attracted us to book but we’re seated in the dining room where there was no street view.

    The mushroom dish was amazing. The beef tartar too and the moule and the shrimp.and escargot. I see no space to talk abt the service but a shout out to Raol, very friendly with great customer service skills.

    heard great things about this restaurant, so decided to book it for my best friends birthday dinner. we arrived on time for our reservation, the restaurant was not busy. we had two waiters, both ignored us for the majority of the night. the appetizers came after the mains, two burgers were switched up, and overall the quality of the meals were not the best. Servers didn’t do a single quality check so we were not able to express our feelings on the service/food. we spoke to the GM who was very nice and understanding about the situation and she did comp some of our food. However, after the server tried to charge us the original amount. All in all this was a very disappointing dinner for a special occasion.

    Food was amazing! Cocktails were delicious. So many flavors and colours throughout the meal. Slightly smaller portion sizes for the price you pay so that would be the only sticking point for me. Ambience was great but not as busy as we thought for a Saturday night. Decor and vibes were on point. Service was a bit iffy with the server not coming around enough and not prioritizing certain requests over other tables’ requests, etc. but not terrible. Overall would definitely return!

    We had a great time. I took my friend there to celebrate her birthday. I notified the waitress and unfortunately there was no acknowledgement from her . To be clear I was not looking for a free desert or any kind of freebie but I just thought it would have been nice for her to just acknowledge my friend. Overall she was was great and the food was fantastic and I will return again.

    Terrible service - to the point that I had to stand up and wave at my server for 5 mins to get her attention. Food was soooo slow to arrive and was cold when it did. Menu said my cauliflower steak would be grilled but it came boiled and soggy and sitting in a liquidy pool. Sent it back and couldn’t stomach ordering anything else. Yucca fries were also cold. Cannot recommend this place for anything.

    Wonderful service, excellent food, when full it was noisy enough that you had to raise your voice loudly to have a conversation, less full and the ambience was quite wonderful, as we had experienced on a previous visit.
