    Leo''s is a classic downtown restaurant with excellent food and great service. When you see the staff wiping water spots off the silverware, you know that you are in good hands. My martini could have been bigger, but it could not have been better.

    We ordered several appetizer's Chicken rolls, Brie, Scallops, Crab/Shrimp cakes and each item had issues as far as taste, rubbery, extremely salty...needless to say we were disappointed. Our waitstaff seemed short on questions & answers. Manager did end up taking 3 of the apps off our bill but felt it was scripted not sincere. Maybe just a bad night in the kitchen. It did appear that a number of tables waited a long time for their food as we also waited a good amount of time.

    When we first arrive, there was a young woman that was supposed to be checking people in and taking coats, but she was too busy worrying about getting a tip from a big potty instead of taking care of me and my family that just arrived for my birthday and she kind of had an attitude with my mom which I didn’t think was OK or appropriate and it was a bit loud but it’s understandable it’s the seasons

    Leo’s never disappoints. Beautiful decorations for the holidays. Very comfortable and spaced out seating. Tables are not crammed in as at other places. Excellent wait staff. We had the walleye which was perfect with a mustard glaze ; and a special which was a shrimp and scallop linguini. The classic old fashioned is also very good. And quiet enough to carry on a comfortable conversation.

    Food was phenomenal in taste and presentation; and do not skip dessert! Waitress was very helpful and fun... then awkwardly disappeared for 15 minutes, and didn't realize an entree was not delivered. Seasonal decor was beautiful. Tables were closer together than you'd expect. Perhaps valet (parking was not fun) and coat-checks (hung on the back of my chair) are a thing of the past? Overall, will return, but might anticipate a "fine" establishment to mind even more of the details.

    I basically came in for the escargot you had and found out you changed it. It was the best I ever had before with the mushrooms and spinach and escargot. I told everyone about it and than I come in and it’s basically it’s like the reg escargot you can get anywhere. I was so extremely disappointed ☹️ Bring it back. It was so special and delicious before.. Will not recommend you anymore just because of that.

    I have dined at Leo's several times and it is always a great experience. Nice ambiance, great service, and terrific food. Definitely one of the best upscale restaurants in Grand Rapids. I love that they have Manhattan Clam Chowder as a regular menu item; this is typically hard to find outside of the New York area. I have to order it every time! Huge wine and cocktail list as well. If you aren't a big seafood person, they also have great steaks.

    We celebrated our wedding anniversary and we know Leo’s will provide the atmosphere and dining experience to make any occasion special. Zach was great as our waiter and everything was delicious. The Chilean Sea Bass was especially amazing.

    My wife and I came to Leo’s for our 22nd wedding anniversary. We had an incredible experience from the greeting at the front door to our departure.
