it was our first visit. Our server suggested entrees but then suggested we share and brought 3 more plates. It was great to try three different entrees. We will be back

First time dining at Leo’s for me & my wife. On our reservation we specifically requested a table in the quietest area of the restaurant and were instead seated at a high top adjacent to both the entry/host podium and bar - the highest traffic & noisiest table in the entire restaurant. The ambiance was also disappointing - too bright/light for a Saturday evening dinner date. Service was very light - server only stopped by to take our order & once to check on us, when we were almost done eating. On the positive side, they had Peroni beer and the food was excellent. We both enjoyed our choices very much - nice flavors & good portion size.

The interior decor is modern and visually appealing. Unfortunately, our food was only mediocre. The pasta was very dry and under sauced. We had a party of 8 and either our server was inexperienced or had too many other tables as we went a long time without beverages or the ability to request additional items like pepper additional bar beverages.

The food was excellent but the service was a little slow (ie it took a while for server to make it around to keep drinks filled while waiting on the food). It was a bit loud but not terrible. All in all a good place to eat and I would definitely go back.

Everything was very pleasant. When I made the reservation, I inquired whether I could get a menu item prepared in a modified way, as I am on a Keto program. To my surprise and delight, I was told that my request could be accommodated. I was even more pleased when I got the dish (which, BTW, was delicious) exactly as I requested. Our server was wonderful as well, very polite and engaged us in pleasant conversation. She asked as to whether we had a specific reason for coming to the restaurant that evening. When we told her that it was our anniversary, she “comped” our dessert. All in all a wonderful evening!!!

Wow!! Incredible muscles for an appetizer!! I’ll head back just to order them again!! Yummy 😋 The pizza was delicious too!! The staff was exceptional and paid close attention to details too! We were very pleased.

We went on Veterans Day for dinner with 2 Veterans. We were seated in a booth per our request when we booked ahead of time. It was very crowded but our waiter did s fine job of taking care of us. We had a little wait to get our wine, but the bar was backed up. my salmon was delicious and the guys had pasta dishes that were very good. Leos did a great job anticipating the crowd and had enough staff on hand to make things run smoothly.

Unfortunately, we were seated by the door and desk. The phone rang constantly. The whole restaurant was practically empty. I’m not sure why we were given such an inappropriate table. The food was delicious, and very promptly served. The waitress was efficient, but not very personable. Really no complaints there. I have been there before and loved it. Where you are seated makes a difference.

We were disappointed in the service, which was the first time dining at Leo’s, that the service was not good. Our server needed to leave for an emergency and advised us that someone else would be picking up our table. However, no one ever came to the table to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee, etc. which we usually order. Therefore, we left the restaurant without ordering our coffee and dessert.

I went for lunch and ordered Rosemary pizza along with the lobster bisque. It was outstanding. Service was outstanding. The restaurant is fairly new and I encourage everyone to give it a try. You won't be disappointed

2nd visit to this location while visiting NCSU. Busy Friday night at the bar however the staff was super friendly and doing their best. Food was fast and delicious. Great team effort of new employee hopping in to help the bar on her first shift. Compared to the Charlotte location, Cary is far superior. Worth the wait if necessary. Cary, NC deserves 5 stars! We will be back.

This was our first visit and it won’t be the last! Some of the best Italian we have ever eaten - we had the bolognese pasta and the eggplant parm. Everything was superb and our waitress was so sweet. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant. Can’t wait to try one of the pizzas next time.

Go Here!! The food was great (try the Eggs in Purgatory!) but biggest reason is the team at this restaurant - my cousins ordered the quiche. As they dug in they commented it was a little dry. The manager did NOT hear this but as she came to so how things were she told them she had already asked the kitchen to cook 2 more as theirs looked overcooked. THAT is great awareness and service. I will for sure go back and highly recommend!

The food was excellent. I had zucchini noodles in the Carbonara and it was outstanding! I travel extensively and eat all over the world when traveling--and this dish was the best thing I've had to eat in 3 months! Thank you Leo's

We sat for a bit waiting for our waitress to come over but once she did, she could not have been sweeter or more friendly. Food was excellent, great size portions, and the patio was lovely. We will be back!

The food was amazing! The service was not up to par. This is my second time visiting and receiving terrible customer service. Wait for appetizer was ridiculous. The manager showed not care when I said “finally” once he delivered the appetizer. I believe they may also be short staffed as it was not many cooks in the open designed kitchen. The bartender was the host/server/food deliverer. Too much for one person. Probably won’t return to dine in. Next time I will order out due to the lack of service.

Good ambiance. Lots of seating. Has full liquor bar. Short staffed so had to wait a while to place our order. Mussels appetizer was very good. Needed more bread for the sauces since they gave us 2 small loaves (3 slices per loaf) for 6 people. Fried calamari was just ok...Seemed like there was more fried jalapenos than calamari. Entrees - Presentation was pretty good. Veal Parmigiana was on the dry side & didn't have much of the classic red sauce. It was paired with linguini alfredo which overwhelmed the veal parm. Salmon was perfectly cooked. Arugula & strawberry salad was a bit disappointing. The arugula was wilty with not many strawberries...& the dressing didn't enhance the salad...It was too tart. It would've better with a slightly sweet dressing. Food overall was just ok for us.

Fabulous food, service, and atmosphere. We arrived earlier than our reservation time and they graciously accommodated us without hesitation. Leo’s Italian Social has now become one of my top favorite restaurants!

Friendly staff but slow getting drinks and food out as they were busy (so expected). We only did appetizers and drinks but the food was okay. The crostini served with each appetizer were very hard. Other than that, the main parts of the dish were good.

A friend and I went to Leo's for dinner. We thought about sitting outside but the host suggested we not do that as manure compost had been spread recently, good advice. A nice big booth instead. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, when we weren't ready to order yet she came back at an appropriate time. Leo's was having their anniversary so there were some specials, we shared the Arancini appetizer at 50% off and I had an Aperol Spritz cocktail which was quite good. Arancini were good, three medium-sized balls in a spicy sauce, very tasty. The bread and dipping sauce brought to the table were both mediocre, not sure what the bread was supposed to be but it wasn't Italian-style, and the sauce was fairly tasteless. I had the Salmon Griglia which was very good, my friend had the margherita pizza (half off on pizzas) but was underwhelmed by it. We didn't stay for dessert. An okay evening out but not outstanding.

Food was delicious. But wait staff paid more attention to getting tables ready for future guests. Ordered a glass of wine when food arrived and waited 10 minutes and server never returned Therefore I walked to the bar and got my wine. There were less than 20 people in entire restaurant. Will not return. Too many other choices or great service restaurants nearby
